Introductions and the other side of the well...

☆"Kagome's P.O.V"☆

Ok, so to explain what happened so far, Kasumi and I were talking when Inuyasha barged in then out of nowhere people in suits started shooting at us. This guy named Marcus wanted Kasumi for some reason but then the next thing that was happening, vine-like roots ensnared the creeps…. Could it be Kasumi who caused that to happen?

----------------------------

Inuyasha catches Kasumi just as she faints then lifts her up and begins to walk towards the well, "Come on Kagome, we got to get somewhere safe, if those many men came for just one girl...."

I nodded my head. I understood the implications but where would be safe enough? Then a thought hit me…

"Inuyasha, what if we take her over to the feudal era?' I asked, "She just might be strong enough to pass through the well if she has the ability to move plants and earth at whim."

Inuyasha was quiet for a moment, then I saw his nose twitch momentarily before he spoke, "I think you're right, her smell is… well I'll tell you once we get out of danger."

With that said we both hurried over to the hidden well that linked my time to the Feudal era of Japan where Inuyasha lived. As we were passing through the well, something felt strange. Almost as if there was an otherworldly presence around us and it wasn't coming from the jewel shards in the bottle in my pocket or Inuyasha's half-demon powers that I was detecting. Once on the other side of the well, something strange happened to Kasumi. Her aura began to pulse with a strange energy and then it happened…

----------------------------

What happened? Ughhh, my head hurts! I opened my eyes slowly to be greeted by a very bright light that nearly blinded me. Once my eyes adjusted, I realized I was no longer in Tokyo anymore but I had yet to realize just how dire my situation was at that moment. I was in a wooden hut… a very old fashioned wooden hut by the looks of it. Suddenly the curtain covering the door frame was pushed aside and standing there was Kagome and the weird guy that was at her house.

"Good, you're awake." Kagome said as she rushed to my side to help me sit up, "Don't try to push yourself so hard."

I groan as I sat up, "I guess you guys are going to start asking me for an explanation I presume?"

"Why don't you start off with who the hell are you?!"

I looked up at the rude guy in the red kimono and gave a heavy sigh, "I guess there is no use hiding my nature powers since you two most likely saw everything, right?"

Kagome gave a nervous smile which told me everything I needed to know about what she saw. I let out a heavy sigh but my frustration was soon replaced by confusion as I heard a man's voice call out.

"Inuyasha, I hope you are not pestering the poor girl," just then a young man who looked to be in the trade of being a monk walked in, "honestly if she was a demon she probably would have attacked by now."

Wait a minute did he say… demon?! Why would they suspect me of… my powers!

"Now wait just one minute!" I started to ramble nervously, "I mean yes I have powers but I assure you they are not demonic or evil in any nature!"

Out of nowhere the monk is somehow kneeling next to me with my hands clasped in his, "I of course had no doubts of your intentions. With such a rare beauty like yourself- ahhh!"

Just as quickly as the monk started talking he was cut off just as fast by a woman, with a cat on her shoulder, pulling him away by his ear. I blinked in confusion at the whole ordeal, I couldn't help but get the feeling that something was a bit off with this whole situation. I don't know how I got here and I'm very grateful to Kagome and that rude guy who saved me but as long as I was around them... they were in danger. Suddenly, as if a switch went off inside me, I started to feel like my powers had increased somehow… I could literally feel a lot more plant life, the air smelled clean and sweet, and I could actually hear more birds as if they were on my shoulder right now… what- no.. where am I?

Kagome snapped me out of my thoughts by placing her hand on my shoulder and strangely enough, she handed me a hand mirror, "umm… look Kasumi, remember the times I said I was absent and very sick? So sick I was missing so much school and almost didn't make it into high school?"

I nodded my head, wondering where she was going with this topic…

"Well, the thing is-...." Kagome was about to say something else when there was a loud howl, like from a bunch of wolves and they sounded like they were right outside the hutch.

                                               "Yo! Kagome, you there?"

Before I knew what was happening, a strange looking young man, dressed mainly in furs, was leaning against the door frame with a sly grin on his face.

"Koga? What are you doing here?" Kagome asked the strange man.

The man named Koga wasted no time in grabbing Kagome's hands, "Kagome, now that Naraku is out of the way it is high time to--"

The guy named Inuyasha is about to lunge at the guy but out of reflex I used my powers, and in that instant a vine from outside the hutch grabs the guy, Koga, and pulls him out of reach of Inuyasha. Which leaves everyone to just gawk at me.

"What?" I asked nonchalant, "I really don't really like unnecessary violence so will someone explain where the heck I am? Before I get seriously pissed."

As if the surprises kept coming, a child with animal-like feet and a bushy fox tail came rushing in and he was saying something but I wasn't hearing because at that point… reality was out the door and once again the world went black.
