13 Can't Stop The Feeling

Gaia and the others entered a mall, and she still didn't know what they were going to do. Earlier, as they were leaving the gate, they saw Rania and Caiz insisted on bringing her along. Since then, Rania hasn't spoken.

"Hey Ranz! Do you want to— I said I'd just keep quiet," Gaia wanted to laugh at Caiz's reaction when Rania gave him a stern look, preventing him from speaking. Gaia observed Rania to be serious and mysterious. She had been at the Academy for a long time, but she didn't know the girl's ability.

"Seriously, Caiz? Arcade Zone?" They stopped in front of the arcade game zone, which Zhyke complained about when Caiz was about to enter. The latter scratched the back of his head. "It's not me who—"

"Gaia!" Everyone looked inside as someone called Gaia— it's Zeira. Gaia's lips parted in surprise.

"What are you doing here?" Gaia asked as Zeira approached them.

"That's what I'm going to say! Zeira invited us to come here," Caiz explained. Zeira smacked him, and it looked like they were about to argue again.

"And I told you to bring only Gaia. Why did you bring someone else? I know Zhyke won't like being here, especially Rania! And well, Fier, he can tolerate this," Zeira scolded Caiz without a break. Zhyke was about to speak, but he was interrupted by a stern look from Zeira, so he stopped.

"Who said I don't like it? Move aside," Zhyke said curtly. In the midst of Gaia and Fier, he walked by, causing Gaia to step back slightly. Gaia gave him a disdainful look as he entered.

"Rania? Is it okay with you here?" Zeira asked Rania, who had been quiet as usual. Rania just nodded in response.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" Zeira exclaimed with excitement. She pulled Gaia and Rania into the Arcade Zone. Caiz and Fier followed.

They found Zhyke playing basketball mania. Caiz approached and hugged Zhyke, causing a disturbance in his game.

"Damn it, Caiz. I'm trying to beat the high score!" Zhyke complained irritably. Gaia, who was watching, couldn't help but laugh. She received another disapproving look from him.

"What's so funny?" He asked irritably. Before Gaia could answer, Zeira intervened.

"Oh, wait, let's play, Gaia. Come on, Ranz!" Zeira suggested. Gaia pondered when Zeira called Rania

"Ranz," wondering if they were close. Zeira brought them in front of...

"No way I would play this game, Zeira!" Rania complained immediately.

"I won't play, Zeira," Gaia also refused to play the game Zeira had chosen. So, the latter was left alone.

"Come on! I've been stuck in the library for almost a week. And you won't grant my simple request. Heartless people!" Zeira said, exaggerating. Gaia heard Rania sigh, so she sighed too and just gave in to Zeira.

"Okay, stop your dramatics," Gaia said with a wry smile. Zeira jumped for joy and faced Rania—waiting for her answer.

"Fine, just one time," Rania answered plainly. Zeira then approached the dance machine and chose a song. In a moment, the song 'Can't Stop The Feeling!' filled the surroundings.

"Come on," Zeira said, dragging Gaia and Rania to their positions. Three people could play the dance machine.

'Ah, yeah, ah, yeah

I got this feelin' inside my bones

It goes electric, wavy when I turn it on'

The song started, and Gaia and Rania just stood there, frowning as they watched Zeira. They got irritated when Zeira continued dancing.

"What? Move! You look like statues there. Anyone who doesn't move will be ignored," Zeira said seriously. So, Gaia and Rania had no choice but to start following the various dance moves on the screen.

'All through my city, all through my home

We're flyin' up, no ceilin', when we in our zone'

Gaia didn't notice that her body had started moving with the music. She was now immersed in the music, not caring about her surroundings. She didn't even notice the pairs of eyes watching her, amazed at what a good dancer she was.

'I got that sunshine in my pocket

Got that good soul in my feet

I feel that hot blood in my body when it drops (ooh)'

"You're so good at dancing, Gaia! Unlike Zeira, she looks like a stiff!" Caiz teased Zeira, which made her frown. But that wasn't enough to interrupt Gaia's dancing.

"Stop it, Caiz! I'm better than Rania, though," Zeira said, giggling. Rania just hissed and decided to stop dancing, and so did Zeira. They smiled at Gaia, who continued dancing.

'Got this feelin' in my body

Break it down

Got this feelin' in my body (ah)

Can't stop the feelin'

Got this feelin' in my body, come on (ooh)'

Gaia, breathless, stopped when the song ended. She looked at the scoreboard, and her forehead creased as Zeira's score was full of fails. Gaia turned to them, and Caiz yelled in amazement.

"Gaia... Oh my god! You're so good at dancing!" Zeira exclaimed, amazed. Rania nodded in agreement. Gaia felt embarrassed because she didn't realize that she was the only one dancing.

"Wow, Gaia! You're hiding some talent? I told you Gaia is really good," Caiz said, quickly changing his tune when he saw Fier giving him a nasty look.

"Oh, this one will surely sing 'Can't Stop the Feeling!'" Caiz hinted again. While Gaia couldn't fathom what was happening, Caiz laughed and invited Zeira to play more. So, Gaia was left with Zhyke and Fier. Gaia glanced at Zhyke, who had been watching her intensely since earlier. Gaia couldn't understand why her heart suddenly raced at the way he looked at her. In her mind, she thought he might just be nervous.

"I need to go. Fier, you can tell them," Zhyke said while facing away from them and left.

"Let's go, Gaia?" Fier asked her while she continued to watch Zhyke walking away. Gaia sighed and gave Fier a weak smile. "Let's go."
