The Gravity of Change
40 years ago, the human species evolved yet again, this evolution giving human beings the ability to take control of natural substances by coming into a near death encounter with one and being chosen to hold the emblem of the disaster. So natural disasters could give people super powers.
Too many of these powers within one host causes the body to kill itself from inside out, arteries, muscles, and bones decaying, and finally nervous system shutdown resulting in death.
Present day
Nova, a volunteer for a dangerous science experiment that created a black hole, Nova, oblivious until after he did it, Absorbed the black holes power, he was the only one he did, so he had the most powerful force in existence.
He was only 12 in that time, he was about to die from a tumour in his left brain, his parents saw this as a chance for him to heal, or for him to be put out of the misery he endured through.
