63 A Bad Turnout

'Now let's wrap this up. I bet everyone will be pretty surprised if I dealt with this entire situation before they arrive.' A smile that was in direct correlation to her thoughts appeared on Fuyumi's face. And while the smile was innocent to Kisame, who slowly saw her moving closer to him, it caused his body to shake.

'Dammit can't move! Cant weave any hand signs either!' Being forced into this position caused Kisame to grit his teeth. From where she was onwards, Fuyumi began using the water to crush Kisame's limbs to the point his bones began to creak. "Agh!" His eyes bulged due to the pain as he let out a scream.

The water pressure continued to build as soon Kisame heard something in his right leg crack and split. In an instant, blood began to flow into the water around him as another painful scream flowed from his mouth. It was then that Itachi, who was watching the situation from afar, finally interfered. Staring at the large sphere of water that was currently under Fuyumi's control, his eyes began to rotate.

The three tomoes stretched into a new form before stopping. Suddenly Itachi's right eye began to bleed before widening. 'Amaterasu!' From inside of the ball of water, Fuyumi suddenly felt something cause a vibration. "Huh?" Turning her head, her eyes widened as she saw the water behind her was covered in a black flame.

Steam continued to rise, and the black flame also continued to burn the very water itself, causing fluctuations to occur. 'I can't suppress that fire at all.' No matter how water began to diverge away from the area around her near the black flame, it showed no sign of stopping and only continued to grow towards her at high speed. "I can't let that touch me."

Glancing at Kisame for a moment, Fuyumi sucked her teeth. Dashing out of the sphere of water at full speed, she backed up until she was standing beside Ino. "You should group together with your Squad and get out of here." Hearing her, Ino nodded. "I understand just be careful." In this situation, they couldn't do anything. It was best if they got out of the way.

Standing up, she made her way towards the remaining Anbu while watching Itachi, who was completely focused on Fuyumi. At the same time, Fuyumi's attention was also focused on Itachi, which caused her to release her control of the sphere of water Kisame was in. The water lost its shape and collapsed as the Amaterasu flames continued to burn with nothing controlling it.

Being released, at last, Kisame's body defused with Samehada as he fell to the ground panting. If not for Itachi forcing Fuyumi to retreat with Amaterasu, he really would have died. "Kisame we should fall back for now." Itachi's voice entered both Fuyumi and Kisame's ears as both of them showed different expressions.

"You think I'm just going to let you go?" Fuyumi's eyes locked onto Itachi as her grip on her Zanpakuto increased. She wasn't just saying this for no reason. Between Itachi and Kisame, it was clear Itachi felt her Spiritual Pressure a lot less and at the same time had just proved he was a lot more dangerous.

If they left and came back, it might end up being a repeat of what happened to Kabuto, and this time, she would be the cause. Itachi looked back at Fuyumi and narrowed his eyes. "I see." As the two of them stared, one another down, Fuyumi sensed something moving from the top of the wall behind her.

"Eh they're here already?" Two shadows appeared over the wall of the Soul Society before traveling directly towards Fuyumi. "So you were already here." Both Zabuza and Haku appeared besides Fuyumi in their respective uniforms. Their sudden appearance surprised both Itachi and Kisame, but Kisame, in particular, glared at Zabuza.

"You… You're alive?" Zabuza turned his head and spotted Kisame, who had diffused along with Samehada. "Your one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of today huh?" Recognizing Kisame, Zabuza didn't pay him much mind before turning back to Fuyumi. "I came here at full speed. How did they catch up so fast? Big Brother Rei is probably going overboard with their training..."

Hearing her muttering under her, Haku shook his head. "You should have waited for us. The fact you had to use Munriba's release state shows that your opponents aren't normal." Holding his executioner blade on his shoulder, Zabuza looked around as he heard Fuyumi ask a question. "So where are the squads you were supposed to bring with you?"

Zabuza didn't answer right away as he pointed to the wall of the Soul Society."It's dangerous for Souls to leave the barrier for too long so I left them on the other side. I brought a medical team and Kido specialist but it looks like it's good I didn't bring them along for this. Fill us in on what's going on. Why is that fish faced bastard here and…" Looking towards Itachi, Zabuza's mind flashed to an image of Sasuke.

"A member of the Uchiha clan?" Haku showed a look of surprise as they spoke cautiously. "So that means your Itachi Uchiha, correct?" Itachi nodded lightly as Fuyumi spoke. "I don't really know what's going on exactly but they're after Big Brother Rei. They were fighting Ninja from the leaf just a while ago so I'm guessing that delayed them a bit. In any case I managed to beat the shark head but this guy."

Itachi looked back at the three of them and spoke. "It seems that retreating has become impossible." Deep into the forest, away from where the current battle was taking place, a figure watching everything occurred. He was dressed in the same Akatsuki attire as Itachi and Kisame; however, his face was split between white and black.

Opening the venus fly trap-like thing covering its head, two voices proceeded to speak to one another. "Well well well! Looks like things are starting to get interesting over there right!" The white side excitedly talked to his other half as it spoke more calmly. "Zabuza Momochi and his partner are said to have died."

'This can't be a Genjutsu and there is no sign of the Reanimation Jutsu being used either. Even if Rinne Rebirth was used the two of their bodies would be long gone. However the two of them are clearly here. No power in this world should have the ability to revive the dead like this even mother would be…' This black half narrowed its eyes as it started at all three figures in the distance.

"For now we should simply continue observing until the end before reporting back. Kisame may be lost, however Itachi Uchiha should be fine even in this kind of situation." His other side agreed cheerfully as the two of them continued to watch the situation unfold. "Haku take care of Kisame me and Fuyumi will fight Itachi. Besides it should be only a matter of time before those two arrive. Then this whole battle will be over."

Haku nodded as he turned towards Kisame. With a flick of his risk, four needles appeared in both of his hands as he walked away from the two of them. 'I cant continue to fight in this situation... Just standing up with my leg like this is killing me and my bones feel like their on the presipise of shattering.' Kisame struggled to stand up while holding Samehada, preparing to face off against Haku.

On the other hand, Zabuza and Fuyumi prepared to fight Itachi. Starting off, Itachi began weaving hand signs as he sucked in a large amount of air. "Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" Multiple balls of fire flew from Itachi's mouth in rapid succession. Splitting between their targets of Zabuza and Fuyumi, they slowly increased in speed.

Pointing her sword towards the incoming projectiles, multiple blasts of water shot out from its tip in multiple directions. Matching the size of Itachi's Jutsu nearly perfectly, it seemed both attacks would be canceled out. However, at the last moment, Fuyumi said something. "Freeze." An intense chill shot out from all of Fuyumi's attacks as they immediately began to freeze over.

Seeing this, Itachi's expression changed. 'This is Chakra but why didn't I sense it before?' With each water blast turning into elongated blades of Ice, they ripped through Itachi's Fire Style and charged directly towards him. "Looks like that training with Haku didn't go to waste." Zabuza gave Fuyumi props as he used this as a chance.

Dashing ahead as Itachi used his Sharingan to dodge between Fuyumi's ice blades, he appeared right in front of him in a matter of seconds. Reiryoku channeled through Zabuza's entire body like a torrent of water. "Koseido: Shishako!" Itachi's Sharingan showed the exact pattern Zabuza's attack was going to come from and immediately bent back to an insane degree.

A horizontal slash came exactly as predicted; however, what caused Itachi's eyes to widen was the speed along with the power. The slash passed over his body like a flash of light in the seconds after a large gash of wind ripped through everything behind him. Over a dozen trees that were far from where they were standing were cut clean in half before falling over.

'There's no way that kind of speed and power can be obtained using just Chakra enhancement.' That was Itachi's thought process, and by all means, he was right. While Chakra was more versatile in usage and a lot more flexible if developed right when it came to sheer power, speed and force, Reiryoku had its beat.

Zabuza barely focused on learning Kido and instead focused his attention on Zanjutsu and Hakuda, and he excelled at it almost as much as Rei, in fact. Currently, in the Soul Society, he was second to none in that regard, no matter how much Seiki wanted to deny it. Which also made it all the more terrifying, realizing he did not yet have a Zanpakuto.

Having a clear view of Zabuza, Itachi's gaze turned to the sky as he saw Fuyumi looming high above him. Holding her sword in the air, she swung at him, and flying out of her blade at an incredible was a sharp blade made purely of water. Gaining its highest velocity, the blade of water then turned into one of ice.

Crashing into Itachi's body, it cut him clean in half along with leaving a massive gash in the ground. "I got him?" Looking at his severed body, Fuyumi's gaze changed to their right as she saw his torso and lower portion turn into a flock of crows. "Dammit that stupid move is getting annoying." Landing on the ground next to Zabuza, the two of them turned towards Itachi again.

'How did two such people like this appear without any notice? Even the one they sent to fight Kisame is clearly talented. And all of them came from behind that wall… What exactly is over there that lets them use such abilities without Chakra? Now I see why we were sent after the one they call Rei. If he's in charge then his ability must be incredible.'

Realizing all of this also meant if more reinforcements continued to come, this situation would turn dire. 'I have to end this now! Mangekyou Sharingan!' Both of Itachi's eyes began to spiral, forming a shuriken-like pattern. "Amaterasu!" Black flames became apparent in front of both Zabuza and Fuyumi. "Crap!"

Recognizing the flames, Fuyumi immediately reacted using her Zanpakuto's ability, forming a wall of liquid in front of them. The flames of Amaterasu immediately began to burn away that wall as Fuyumi retreated and warned Zabuza. The two of them dashed around the flames in opposite directions planning on rushing Itachi.

However, the moment Fuyumi looked at Itachi, her eyes widened as he was staring straight at her, and her vision blurred. 'Tsukuyomi!' Without any warning, both Haku and Zabuza's faces turned grim as they caught glimpses of Fuyumi falling to the ground limp like a puppet without its strings.

Looking over at Fuyumi, Zabuza thought to himself. 'What? Is it Genjutsu? But Rei told us that we should be immune to the effects of Genjutsu because of our bodies. He wouldn't lie about something like that.' Suddenly Zabuza's head snapped back to Itachi, who had already rushed towards him.

"What the-" A large shadow loomed over Zabuza in the form of two massive skeletal arms coming from a rib cage around Itachi's body. 'Susanoo.' Putting up his guard was all he could do as the two arms came crashing down. Having blocked the attack, Zabuza's expression turned even worse as his entire body began to sink. 'I can't stop it!'

Immediately the ground underneath Zabuza shattered like glass as a reverberating shockwave was sent through the grand, ripping it apart. Inside the Soul Society, both Rei and Shisui were getting extremely close to the northern wall. "Why did it take you so long to respond?" Shisui looked over at Rei as they both moved at full speed.

"I had set up a barrier around the quarantine western area to avoid hollows from potentially escaping out but it ended up blocking all messages to me as well." Rei bit his lip as he suddenly saw something in the distance. "What the hell." A large pillar of dust and fragmented rock was rising into the air, even eclipsing the northern wall in height.
