14 The God of Destruction Wants to Throw a Tantrum?

"Husband? Become Shy Shy's father?"

"Who does he think he is?!"

Christine's expression went cold.

Henry was taken aback.

This was the first time that he saw such a cold look on such a gorgeous face.

He really didn't expect that Christine was capable of such coldness.

"Does he think that my daughter is some cabbage from a wet market that he can casually pick up whenever he wanted?"

"No. It's a no. Since he has already left, then so be it. I had never received the help of a man raising Shy Shy, so why would I need his help?"

"What can he even do? What can that man even do when he's too cowardly to even take responsibility for his actions?"

Christine said in disdain.

Henry's heart froze.

"Ah!"

Christine finally snapped out of her trance when she saw the uncomfortable and pale look on Henry's face.

"I'm sorry for acting out of the line, sir Henry? Sir Henry? Are you okay? You look pale..." Christine said in concern.

"Cough... Cough... I'm fine. It's just indigestion."

"Ah, do you want a glass of water? Let me—"

"It's okay." Henry stopped her from standing up. "You should stay here and enjoy the meal. I'll be going now."

"Eh? But you're still not done eating..." Christine wanted to force him to stay, but Henry had already exited the room.

When he returned to the Toyota Corolla, there was this cold unapproachable look on his face that terrified Patrick.

"S-Sir... did something—" Patrick whispered, but he stopped himself from asking in the end.

Henry was the God of Destruction, Vajrada Shivada.

Patrick couldn't possibly afford the consequences of offending him while he was in a bad mood.

Left without a choice, Patrick started up the engine and started backing out of the parking lot.

As the car engine roared, silence reigned over the vehicle.

There was an awkward look on Patrick's face.

They had been circling around Mahalina Residential Area for quite some time now, yet Henry still hadn't said a thing.

Patrick didn't know what to do.

He was a driver, not a mind reader.

If he wanted to proceed, then Patrick must know where their destination was.

He surreptitiously glanced at Henry and discovered that the cold look on the latter's face was still there.

It hadn't disappeared, nor even diminish.

'Fuck...'

'What do I do now?'

'I can't possibly just continue driving in circles like this!'

'I have to know where sir Henry wants to go, but I can't read anyone's mind!'

'Wait...'

Just as Patrick was feeling bitter about his situation, he suddenly remembered the last message that he received from Henry earlier.

"Land Regulatory Authority?"

Patrick softly mumbled.

Finally, there was a reaction from Henry.

He glanced at the phone in Patrick's hands and asked. "Can I throw a tantrum there?"

"Yes...?" Patrick was baffled. "A tantrum?"

"Yes, a tantrum." Henry coldly replied.

Patrick made a sidelong glance at him and he finally realized that Henry seemed to be upset and frustrated.

But a tantrum...

What would happen if the God of Destruction himself made a tantrum?

Wouldn't that be a bloodbath?

Patrick's expression turned pale.

"Uh... Forgive my disrespect, sir Henry. But I don't think it's okay for us to kill indiscriminately..."

"What?" Henry stared impatiently at Patrick. But then a strange smile appeared on his face. "I am not going to kill anyone. No one is deserving enough to die under my hands in this city. But I want to throw a tantrum. I'm afraid that if I don't vent this out, my illness might act up."

"Yes, we cannot allow that to happen..." Patrick felt a shiver down his spine. "Wait, sir Henry. You still haven't started to drink that experimental medicine? This is a new record! I have to report this to sir Golden Dragon..."

"This is definitely valuable data."

"Will you be able to keep on suppressing your illness on your own, sir Henry? If that is the case, then we can just forgo the medicine altogether."

Henry shook his head. "It's not that simple, Patrick. I will eventually have to start using that experimental medicine. Once I've started, I will definitely be forever under its shackles..."

"But until then, I can consider myself as a free man. And who wouldn't want to be free and unfettered in this world? I've already resolved myself for it, but it seems that my heart still longs for freedom more than ever."

A melancholic look appeared on Henry's face.

The events of the past seemed to have briefly appeared in his mind before he shook his head and buried those images back in the deep recesses of his mind.

Even the God of Destruction, Vajrada Shivada had a lot of memories that he didn't want to recall.

"How do you want to vent, Sir Henry?" Patrick cautiously asked.

"Let's see..." A playful smile appeared on Henry's face.

Afterwards, he took out a phone that he had kept right above his heart all this while.

The phone looked generic. But if one had the experience and their eyes were sharp enough, they would be able to see hints of the valuable materials used to construct the phone.

"T-T-The Starlink?!" Patrick sucked a mouthful of cold air.

The Starlink was a phone that the presidents of countries often carried with them in case of emergencies.

It was a sturdy phone that could supposedly withstand a thermonuclear bomb exploding right on top of it.

However, due to its sturdy construction. The phone lacked features that anyone would consider vital nowadays.

It couldn't connect to the internet, nor it had any apps for entertainment.

But it had something that Henry had always found useful whenever he was in the world.

It was the fact that this Starlink Phone had its own independent satellite orbiting the earth.

In short, the Starlink Phone never ran out of reception.

He would also be able to always track his current location through the Starlink Phone.

It truly was useful.

At this moment, Henry had pulled out the Starlink and dialed a number.

The person on the other side of the call seemed to have been surprised, yet terrified at the same time by Henry's call.

"I want a report about the person that blocked my land acquisition from the Land Regulatory Authority with the appeal number 69420..."

"As for what kind of a report I want, I don't think that I still have to explain, right? I want the report to be sent to Patrick Ricardo in ten minutes sharp."

Henry casually dropped the call and silence once again resumed in the vehicle.

Patrick didn't know what to say. He continued to drive for the Land Regulatory Authority until he received a notification from his phone.

An unknown number had sent him an attachment from the secure server of the government.

When Patrick opened it up, it contained a twenty-two-page detailed report about the person that blocked Henry's land acquisition.

Joshua Meyers.

Land Overseer - Land Regulatory Authority.

Rose Fajardo's boyfriend.

Has illegally reclaimed xxx land properties within the course of his duty.

Patrick briefly looked over at the pieces of evidence and the accusations written inside the report.

In the end, he couldn't help but comment.

"Over..."

"This despicable bastard's life is over."

Patrick glanced at Henry. "Is this how sir Henry does his tantrums?"

"Thankfully, I am his ally, not his enemy."

"Or else..."

"I wouldn't even know how I died!"
