Stuff of Nightmares

My head swirled, twisting my mind into knots. I fizzled in and out of consciousness. When my eyes first opened, it was only for a couple of seconds. I had seen nothing but a blinding white. Then, when I had opened them again, I had seen something more. My eyes had adjusted to the now pitch black room in front of me. there was an old wooden table in the corner, covered in scratches all over. Near it was a chair, torn into multiple pieces, the legs and arms of the chair scattered around the room. I couldn't move, or feel my legs. It was something I had never experienced before and it terrified me. That was all I was. Without my legs, I was nothing. I looked around, my vision still hazy as my eyes darted the room in front of me. There was a metal door, also covered in scratches. The bars on it were bent, and broken. It did me no help though. I looked down to my feet. I was sitting in a wheelchair, it was rusty and made a squeal as I tried to turn the wheels. I huffed in frustration, my arms failed me more than I liked to admit. They were never what our clan focused on. I looked to my legs again, frustrated, with a lurching feeling in my stomach. A loud shudder went through the room. The door creaked open, appearing outside it was what seemed like a man, until I looked closer. It was not a full man. As I did a once-over I noticed the bottom half of him related to a horse. Centaur. His hooves clicked on the hard cement as he bounded towards me. I let out a screech as I pedaled my legs, trying to get myself up. They didn't move. Panic rose in my stomach.

"Your not supposed to be awake," He scoffed. Looking at my terrified look on my face, he pieced it together. "What's the matter?" He teased, "Lose your touch?"

I hadn't noticed before but he now pulled a syringe from his other hand. Sliding it over my neck. I smacked his hand away.

"Ouch. Your friends will pay for that. Time to see them..."

He stabbed the syringe into my leg, sending a wave over my body. Each limb feel asleep as it reached to my head, overtaking me with the shuddering sensation.
