Etiquette

In dragonness we wear white armor and a bandana around our neck, which signifys your rank. Mine is light blue like my hair. My hair is long and braided at the back, with bangs at the front. Every dragoness follows the same etiquette but each is different. I have light blue horns and a light blue tail.

I quickly changed into my armor, and didn't bother brushing my hair from the slept on braid just to redo it. I hurried out the door to get to roll call. We do this every day to ensure everyone is still there, and to keep on top. I ran over the stones, then over the concrete, as I reached where they held roll call. I stood next to my best friend, Amaya.

"You were almost late again," She said in a hushed voice as they went down the rows checking each name.

"I slept through my alarm. When do we go to hunt today?" I asked, as they checked my name off the list.

"2:30 after lunch. They are running low on food, so we'll have to do many."

"Kaida, I need to see you later," Farren teased as he walked by, "we have some unfinished business." His posy of demons followed behind him.

They liked to tease me about that kind of stuff because I'm the only one who doesn't take it the way I want to.

"I would say burn in hell, but you already have," I snapped back, and Amaya let out a giggle.

The fire danced across his eyes.

"Guess you'll take her place Amaya," He said grinning slyly again. I groaned and rolled my eyes as Amaya shrinked away from him when he walked by. I grabbed Amaya's wrist dragging her away from them, back to my room. I needed to clean it before hunting today.

"Come on," I said, as I ran back over the pebbles to the villa.

I cleaned for an hour, and lunch arrived. I was excited for hunting today.
