Yuri

~Chapter One~

Yuri walked out to her car, shortly after waking up twenty minutes before. She was on her way to the small Café just down the road from her home.

It was 8:30, and just as every Saturday morning, Yuri parked her car in the same spot, just as she had been for the past three months. There was a girl there that Yuri had grown quite attached to. She walked in, and sat at the same table near the door, but not yet next to it. The waitress came and asked, "The usual, Yuri?" "Yeah, thanks." Yuri responded in a monotone voice.

Monotone was just one of the ways to describe Yuri. She was very small, smaller than the average 16 year old girl. She had piercing icy blue eyes that bore right into your soul if you looked hard enough. She had an aura that said, "If I don't know you, go away." She might seem like an ass for being like this, but she had her reasons.

Yuri's father, Oscar, had been in jail on an accused attempted murder, and her mother, Denishkva, had tragically died in a car acident on her way to her husband's trial. From her father's side, Yuri was Mexican, Swedish, and Native American. From her mother, she was Japanese, German, English Royalty ( although not that much as it was by marriage ) and Russian.

Yuri always loved hearing her mother tell her and her friend, Mila, all of the stories she had growing up in Russia with her grandmother. Denishkva had lost her mother in childbirth, and her father had been gone her whole life. But now, it was Yuri's parents who were gone, and she only had her Uncle Yakov to look after her.

After 7 minutes, the waitress brought over what Yuri always bought: An iced macchiato with two pumps of vanilla, ice whip, and a cherry on the side. It was then, that she decided that she was going to talk to the girl. This girl she was fond of, had Hazel blue eyes, that Yuri thought were the most enchanting thing about her. She had brown hair, that she felt looked way batter than her own black mane with a single red streak through it.

Yuri had this streak in her hair as long as she could remember. No matter how many times she took it to get it cut off, it always grew back somehow more apple red than before.

The funny thing was, was that Yuri didn't even know this girl's name. She just knew she was the one and that one day, she could muster up the courage to say a simple but pleasent, hello.

Sorry if this chapter was short, I've had this story spinning in my head, dying to be weaved into words. I also apologize if you felt I jumped around too much between Yuri and describing the girl with the Hazel eyes. This story will also be on wattpad under the username, Naluloverlol123, this profile is a friends of mine and the other 4 ( I think ) are not mine. I will try to update 1-2 times a week. Until then, do svadonya, and enjoy my story!
