1 Chapter 1

I'm Elize Skyler Dela Vega. They say that I'm pretty, kind, and intelligent but I'm hiding a secret. A secret that anyone can't have. I got it when I had an accident when I was still in high school. When I wake up in the hospital, I was really surprised. There are three weird things that happen to me.

The first of them is I have miraculously wake up. I heard from the Doctor that no one had expected me to wake up at all but I miraculously woke up after 195 days. When I woke up my right eye turn green, apparently there isn't a medical explanation as to why my eye turned green. Whenever people saw my eyes, they would become surprised and scared so I have to wear a contact lens.

The second thing is I cannot remember anything. Why I was lying in bed for 195 days, no matter how much I thought about it, I couldn't remember. When I first saw my Dad after 195 days I couldn't recognize him. I thought he was a man I saw for the first time.

The third thing is I can see smells. The smells that I should actually smell, I see through my eyes. I am also getting used to this ability and because of this I can help other people.

So far I have not been able to find a job. It's hard because nowadays I can't find available.

[Alexander pov]

I'm Alexander Ethan Montemayor, I'm an officer and I am a person who doesn't feel anything, even if you punch me and stab me I don't feel anything and now...

"So did you get enough sleep? Sprawled down on the floor at the convenience store? Might as well have slept soundly for three nights and four days! I'm seeing all sort of crazy things, seriously," while he was saying that he grabs my collar but I don't care. We had an operation last night and I fell asleep while catching the wanted person, now I am in the station and my two companions are scolding me for what happened last night.

"You have no other thoughts other than to catch the criminal by yourself and get all the credit, right?"

"Do you see nothing but a promotion in your sight?"

"Officer Montemayor, You're just a patrol officer. Why are you sticking your nose into our case already?" When my companion said that, someone grabbed me from behind and punch me. I felt that the two people in front of me turnaround.

"Come with me," Our First Division Chief told me and started to walk. We got to the rooftop of our building. He was facing the surroundings while I am facing him.

"Montemayor. There's a reason why you're in the Police right?" Our Chief ask me.

"I have nothing like that," I said

"Sur you don't," He said and faced me.

"What is the personal and special reason why you had to become a policeman?" He asked

"To protect the citizen and provide a safe society----" I stopped speaking when he speaks again.

"Stop messing around Montemayor, Are you joking with me? What do you plan on doing after gaining that special promotion?" He asked me.

"I want to enter your section," I said to him.

"You want to come under me?" He said

"Yes Sir," I said

"You want to do so but since you don't have the skills and they won't choose you. Did you plan to catch the criminal and become a part of the team? Okay, let's just say that's your goal. What do you plan on doing after that?" He said. I stop for a moment before I answer.

"I want to investigate a murder case." After I said that the two of us fell silent.

"Open your ears and listen closely. If you ever interfere in one of our cases again, I'll take both of your legs and break them in half. If you are not sure, you can try interfering. Murder case? You must be kidding me," After he said that he left.

[Elize POV]

I thought about going to the market so I was to the mall because we didn't have a stack of food at our house. I thought of buying a cooked food at my favorite restaurant so I drove there.

After I got the take out I got in the car again to go home. When I start driving, a fast motor passed by so to my great surprise I stopped the car. Eventually, I was even more surprised because a motorbike crashed into my car and the rider sped off.

"Oh no! What do I do?! I'm so sorry!" I said as I got out of the car and approach the rider.

"I'm sorry! Wait hold on. Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?" I said as I help him stand up and check his condition to see if he's okay.

"I'm okay," he said while looking at me.

"Ah! There! B-blood!" I said while pointing at his forehead.

"Oh no! It looks like your arm popped out! It's all my fault! I'm really sorry!" I said while panicking

"Hurry, Hurry. I'll take you to the hospital! Let's go." I said but he ignored me and looked at the man who fell on the motorbike and that was the man who passed earlier in front of my car. When he saw that the man was leaving, he let go of my hold and quickly got in my car.
