A week with you

Ever since that day, both of them were spending their days together. As for Il Hwa, every day as soon as she woke up, she would look on the calendar counting the days she will be with Jaeho. She still hasn't told him anything about it yet. It's been a few weeks since Byunghun had turned himself in and confessed everything to what he had done to her. She saw how her parents got so surprised to know that someone killed her and it turned out to be someone really close to her. Nevertheless, she was glad that Byunghun got the punishment that he was supposed to get. He was sentenced to life in prison.

As for Jaeho, he had just finished his final semester and was getting ready for internship. All these past few nights, Il Hwa was staying with him accompanying him every night so that Jaeho could finish up his thesis research. Il Hwa was so happy to know that Jaeho, finally submitted his thesis and getting ready for an internship. Sadly, all she knows is that later on, she might not be there for him on his graduation day and his internship days. At the thought of it, makes her really sad.

As for today, as soon as Il Hwa woke up, she takes a look on the calendar and notice she had a week left to be in this world and to be with Jaeho.

*this will be the last week.* thought Il Hwa sadly.

Suddenly, she heard a knock from the door and noticed that Jaeho has opened her room door.

"Are you awake?" asked Jaeho as he entered her room. Il Hwa nodded with a smile.

"Yeah, I was about to go down~" said Il Hwa as she went towards him and hugged him.

"Should we go somewhere today?" asked Il Hwa.

"Where do you wanna go?" asked Jaeho as he broke the hug and fixed her bangs that was covering her eyes.

"hmmmm should we go and take stroll?" asked Il Hwa and Jaeho was surprised.

"It's pretty cold out there… are you sure?" asked Jaeho and Il Hwa nodded.

"Alright then, I'll make sure to bundle you up in my jackets then~" said Jaeho and that made Il Hwa chuckled. He knows very well that she's a ghost. No matter how cold or hot the weather is, she will still be fine.

Both of them are taking a stroll together walking side by side with their hands intertwined. Jaeho noticed that she keeps on smiling and everything that she saw seems so interesting towards her. If she pointed at something, Jaeho would ask if she wants it. But then, Il Hwa refused to by saying 'that's okay. I'm just looking at it.'

She was bundled up in his thick and big jacket. Jaeho found her really cute. But then, he noticed that Il Hwa was still using the black shoes that he bought for her and thought of buying a new one for her.

"Where are we going?" asked Il Hwa as she noticed that Jaeho was dragging her somewhere and entered a mall.

"I'm buying a new shoe for you~" answered Jaeho

"Jaeho-ah, you don't have to… the shoes are fine…" said Il Hwa and noticed that both of them have entered a shoe store. Then, Jaeho took her to sit on a cushion while he go and chooses a shoe for her. After a few minutes of waiting, Jaeho came back with a pair of shoes. This time, he choose a beige colour with a crystal on top of the shoes. It looks so exclusive.

"Jaeho-ah, it's expensive-" but before Il Hwa could finish her lines, Jaeho has slipped on the shoes on her.

"There. Perfect." Said Jaeho in satisfaction.

"Jaeho-ah, you don't have to buy this for me… I can still wear the old one… let's put it back, okay?" asked Il Hwa.

"No… I have to buy this for you or else, I'm gonna regret for the rest of my life once you leave me." Answered Jaeho while fixing the shoes on her feet.

Il Hwa noticed that Jaeho keeps on looking towards the ground instead of her face and know that there's something wrong with him.

"Jaeho-ah, what's wrong-" again, before she could finish her lines, Jaeho has cut her lines.

"I know that you're leaving me in a week." Said Jaeho in his low voice.

Il Hwa was so surprised to hear it. "W-what? H-how do you know about it? I don't even tell you yet…." Said Il Hwa but Jaeho remained silent and still looking to the ground. "Jaeho-ah…" called Il Hwa.

A few seconds later, Jaeho looked up with tears in his eyes.

"Last night. When you're asleep… I saw your calendar…." Answered Jaeho as he gave her his dry smiles with tears in his eyes.

*last night*

Jaeho had just done with his showering and decided to watch the tv with Il Hwa. He was calling for her, but no one was answering. Then, he went to her and knocked on the door for a few times but it was still quiet. Therefore, he decided to open the door and found that Il Hwa was sleeping soundly on her bed. He walked towards her with a smile.

"I was about to ask you to watch the tv with me but you fell asleep first~" said Jaeho as he took a blanket and place it on her. While he was brushing her hair gently, his eyes stopped at her table and noticed a calendar on her table. He saw a note written on the calendar and decided to read it.

"Last day to be with Jaeho :("

"What does she mean by last day with me?" muttered Jaeho alone. Then, he remembered how Il Hwa always told him that she might be leaving soon. Turns out, she is leaving him for real. At the thought of it, Jaeho feels so sad and went near her bed. He was caressing her hair gently thinking that the one that he cherished the most, the one that he love the most will be leaving him soon.

"Angel, can't you just stay with me?" mumbled Jaeho alone as he dropped a tear.

"That day when I bought you that shoes, I told myself that next time, the shoes that I'm gonna buy for you will be better than that. And now, I don't wanna leave any regrets so I bought you a new one. Better than the old shoes." Said Jaeho.

"So put it on whenever we go out this week, alright?" said Jaeho.

"This week?" asked Il Hwa and Jaeho nodded.

"We don't have much time left, we should spend time everyday together doing fun things~" said Jaeho ad that made Il Hwa smiled.

"Jaeho-ah…" called Il Hwa feeling so overwhelmed as tears were pooling in her eyes.

"Don't cry, let's just have some fun and promise me, no tears, alright?" said Jaeho and Il Hwa nodded.

"I promise." Said Il Hwa.

-Four days left-

As for today, both of them decided to spend their time together by going on a date to an amusement park as what Il Hwa requested. The reason how she got the idea is from the drama that she watched last night with him.

"Wahhh Jaeho look!" exclaimed Il Hwa as she pointed to a roller coaster above them. "Should we ride that one first?" asked Jaeho and Il Hwa nodded.

"Let's go~" said Jaeho as he took her arms and brought her to queue up for the ride. Both of them waited for more than 15 minutes as there were so many people on that day. Finally, after waiting, they're able to ride it.

"Woohooo!!" shouted Il Hwa as put her arms in the air.

"THIS IS AMAZING!!" shouted Il Hwa as the roller coaster dropped down.

"AHHHHHHH" shouted both of them happily.

After the roller coaster ride ended, both of them decided to enter the underwater world to take a look on the sea creatures. Before, both of them never get the chance to go for an aquarium date.

"Il Hwa-ah, look." Said Jaeho as he pointed to the puffer fish. "It looks like you when you're eating with a mouth full of food." Laughed Jaeho. "Yah!" said Il Hwa as she hit his arms lightly.

Once the underwater world tour has ended, both of them decided to go for a water ride. As soon as they got off from the water ride, Jaeho was drenched with the water splashed and Il Hwa can't stop laughing at him. When night comes, both of them decided to take the Ferris wheel.

"Enjoy the ride!" said the worker as both of them took a sit next to each other.
