Chapter 1: The past

Lilly was sitting in her dark closet listening to her father and mother fight with three guys. After a few minutes Lilly heard a gun shot. She jumped a little. She covered her mouth to prevent her from crying.

Earler that day Lilly's mother told her to go into her closet and never come out untill mother says so. Lilly's mother knew that Lilly would never disobey her. Otherwise she would have to face the consequences.

After Lilly heard the gun shot she heard a big thud on the ground, and her mother sreaming " NOOOO". Tears ran down Lillys face. She knew exactly what happend. The bad men shot her father dead.

Then there was another shot. The three bad men shot her mother and father. Lilly could hear the three bad men walking up the stairs. Once they got to Lilly's room door. ( Which is locked) The three bad men bang and kick on her door saying " Open up little girl, I know your in there. Your Mother and Father said that you can come with us on a little ride."

After the bad men left the house. Lilly could hear the bad men get into the horse buggy and drove away. Lilly got out of the closet and looked out the window, still crying. She didn't dare to go out of her room. As her mother said don't ever come out of your room until I come and get you.

Lilly never left her room. Days later the police showed up at her house. When she heard them pull into the drive way she went back into her closet. The police walked throught the whole house looking for clues for whom killed Lilly's Father and Mother. The police knocked and knocked on Lilly's door, saying " Hello is anyone in here, is there a little girl in here?". The only reason the police knew there was a little girl is because of the family picture hanging on the wall. They never found Lilly. They scearched the whole house.

The police cleaned up the crime scene. Every night since her Mother ad Father was killed, the three bad men have came every night to come get Lilly out of her room. She would go and hide in her closet when she heard them coming. Every night she would hear a lady call out for the three bad men to come back out and go home.
