Knowing the existence of the novel

Three years later.

In front of a magnificent building surrounded by tall, lush trees with a banner at its top saying ' Third High School' stood a girl with black hair in a bob cut hairstyle, almond shaped brown eyes, biege skin, a tall and slender body.

The girl murmured some words to herself and stood there still for a moment as if wondering to go or not ; before finally entering the school compound.

The girl walked inside inspecting the classes from outside before standing outside a class that read ' Year 1 Class 8 ' and entered after the teacher allowed her.

The class teacher brought her to the podium and said to the students, " Attention, everyone we have a new classmate joining us, so let us welcome her and show the enthusiasm of our class 8."

This was met with some uninterested glances from some students while others did not even give a glance. The environment was much awkward with everyone minding their own business. Some students were chatting, some were lying on their desk, sleeping and some were busy using their mobile phones secretly but not one could be seen studying.

The teacher awkwardly coughed and said, " Student, introduce yourself."

The girl answered, " Li Chu."

Yup, that girl was exactly Li Chu who had been in this world for more than 3 years and was now sixteen.

The teacher was taken aback by her concise reply so he urged her to speak more.

" Teacher, I do not think any of your students are interested in my introduction but still I will honour your words.

Hello fellows, this is Li Chu. I am a new student here albeit only three months late to the session. One thing for your good health, do not find trouble with me or else trouble will find you."

As soon as Li Chu finished her words, the teacher and students all directed their attention to her due to the arrogant words which sounded like a gang leader.

Under everyone's astonished gazes, she stepped down from the podium and walked towards the end of the class. The class arrangement was of three rows, first one towards the door, then the middle one and the last one towards the windows from where the school field could be seen. So, Li Chu walked towards the third row and sat down on the inner seat of the last bench near the window.

Seeing Li Chu sitting at that place, now the students that did not paid any attention to her before were seeing her with wide dumbstruck eyes. Li Chu was irritated with their gazes and said," What never saw a girl before? Or, are you astounded by my beauty?"

Hearing her statement, everyone laughed out loud because Third High School was known for rich, aristocratic and high-status people admitting their children. So, there was not any shortage of beautiful girls. On top of that, Li Chu not in any sense looked like a beauty.

The teacher silenced the class and said to her kindly," Student Li Chu, do you want to change seats because no one wants to sit there."

Li Chu answered, " Teacher, is there any rule to not sit here, if there is tell me, I shall evacuate but if there isn't then do not persuade me, I am not gonna change my seat. The scene here is the best, the teacher too looks good and I am very comfortable here."

The class teacher Mr. Luo had just graduated few years back and was just 27 this year and started teaching a few years ago and this was his first class whose in charge he was made. So, with Li Chu's words he was stumped and no longer persuaded her.

So, the class resumed to its previous state with few chit chat about the new girl.

Because this was a self-study session, not everyone was present in the class and this was why Li Chu's deskmate was not there because of whom everyone gave her surprising gazes.

But Li Chu knew why they were so surprised because her deskmate was the villain.

Yes, Li Chu got to know the world she transmigrated was of a novel that she used to read in her previous life. This was known to her in the previous few months when she tried to connect why the places and some names was familiar to her. Because this was the world of the novel 'The President's Noble Wife' which was full of dogblood and plot holes. And no she was not here because she loved the villain or pitied him. But because of the promise she once made him. Yes, the villain was the same pretty boy three years ago, Mu Junfeng. She promised to save his life and she was a girl of her words.

Of course, she did not want any encounters with the male or female lead. She just wanted to be a passerby and eat melons while they entangle themselves.

But Li Chu also knew about her life in the novel in detail because she was the vicious supporting character who loved the male lead and hated the female lead which was just there to strengthen their love.

Also neither she nor the villain had any good ending. But she was not reconciled how could someone's few lines become her fate and character. But she would not sympathise with their wrongdoings.

So, she was here to know whether she and the villain was that black and the leads were the whites. How could that kind pretty boy become a villain?

At this point the plot had been started for few months and the villain had lost his legs and mother in an accident two years making him a gloomy boy with an irritable temper, and everyone stayed away from him to not irk him.

She also knew her own backstory and plot development, but she had no interest in following that but this was a story for other time.

But one thing she knew for sure was that nothing was black and white. Human nature is always grey, just depends on one's views.
