Chapter thirteen
Speeding her steps to the library with no stopping in mind Kayla was soon out of breath, to be honest the walk to the library was nothing but pain but Kayla didn't even take a look at where she was going it's like her legs knew where to take her at the moment even after she had to walk across three halls and up two long ass stairs she didn't wanna stop but her legs already standing in front of the library she had no other choice other than to enter.
The library was quite as always, in here everyone knew how to behave around cause at the end of the day everyone came here for the exact same reason to work or read in peace, so everyone always tried to keep their voices down to get the peace they wanted and give the others their peace too everyone worked like a team here and that's what Kayla liked about the library everyone minded their
own business no one would look at you
more than once, she comes here when ever she feels like she needed space out of earth, reading books calmed her down more than something else ever did. When she read a book she really likes her mind always took off and she travels into a world that doesn't even exist but to her that non-existing
world was easier than the real world
In there she feels free and the real world always made her feel like she's trapped
inside of a black hole and she had no
clue where to walk out from it. Life Never easygoing and always painful to her but
that's not something anyone knows except
her, it was her pretty little secret to keep
and She liked it just the way it is.
Thinking of all things no one knew but her made Kayla shed Diamond drops of tear from her beautiful galaxy eyes Making her eyes widen in stockBut soon the sound of her palm meeting her cheek with no mercy echoed to her ear leaving her eyes red as she tried to
bare with the pain she just cursed caused
her herself "don't know what is wrong with you today, but really you're pissing me off"
Kayla yells at herself on the inside angry
at herself for being too emotional today she barely cries so what's wrong with her? do all she knows is that her day started great and it was going perfect so what happened? Why did she run out of the cafeteria like that?
She doesn't know. She really doesn't know why this kind of reaction is coming out of
her this easy, crying? She never cries she doesn't even know the last time she cried
for real this sudden change of herself somehow made Kayla to want to rip her own head off she doesn't like to cry not when there's no reason with deep meaning behind it but there was non today so what
happened? Why is she reaction like this?
"I'm sorry!" a voice inside of her head says scaring Kayla off a little bit, 'oh it's that voice again' Kayla though to herself and that broke something inside of her but she doesn't know that but however she really didn't want to be bothered by an annoying voice now she wanted to be alone
"please leave me alone" she says more like begs in low voice inside of her heard to
whatever was there she wiped away
her tears from her checks and started
walking to a bookshelf to grab a book to waste her time on she needed to focus on somethings for now just until it's time to go home "I'm really sorry I made
you react like that if didn't meant to I just-" the voice says in broken tone surprising
Kayla as she frowned at it what's wrong with the unknown voice today why does it sound hurt? Kayla dumbfoundedly ask herself as she reached her hand out touching a book but then kept moving her steps as he fingers kept touching a new one every time she moved "Why are you sorry?" Kayla found herself asking the voice not shocked anymore they voice somehow clouded her pain away sis she wanted to use it to cover it all away
"I-!" The voice start but then remember
that Kayla doesn't know who she is and pets be honest it pains her to share body and mind with someone who doesn't even know she exist but soon she smiled inside of Kayla she'll make sure to tell Kayla she's sorry one day but today is just not it "You don't seem
to be doing well, how are you feeling?" The voice says in sudden happy tone changing the whole subject Being part of Kayla makes her know how Kayla is feeling so she never has to even ask but now she only asked to see if Kayla would open up to anyone if they asked yet to her disappointment but not surprised she chuckles in sadness inside of the girl after Kayla's dry response
" I don't wanna talk about it!" Kayla say shortly suddenly annoyed again grabbing the last book her fingers touched, taking it out into her hands frown her eyes brows at the book the description on the behind the book she holds in her palm which only said
'A secret is a secret when you don't know it' what's that supposed to mean? she asked her curiously yet confused turning around the book reading the book name out loud only for herself to hear "the gifted world" the books name and the description both sounds mysterious Kayla thought to herself smiling at the book which by now she choose to read it's sounds interesting so why not?
She walk a bench and sat herself down comfortably afterwards opening the first page of the book in front of her: chapter one:
where the left overs hides ! That's the name of the first chapter and Kayla won't lie it creeps her out is this book a horror book?
In that case she won't read it she only reads romance books ghost shits isn't her thing without a another thought Kayla moved her hands to shit the book But surprisingly the first sentence of the first chapter was enough to earn her attention before she shit the book together she stared at it confused
What's that supposed to mean?
'Give the future a title but do know
about me.' How is that supposed to be understandable to read? What the hell this book is making her feel more dumb than
a she actually will admit she is "give the future a title but do know about me." Kayla repeat the sentence trying to understand the words but it was impossible how the hell is she supposed to get that? Heck! its like someone telling you melting down a whole ass mountain in one minute is possible!
"You can get it! Just Try being more clever!" The voice in of her say after being silence for a moment "Wha- More clever? Me? Impossible!" Kayla replies angrily to the voice after she used all her humanly brain to understand those words
and what they mean "it's actually not impossible to understand them, just ask yourself who would say that and why!" The voice says in calm tone confusing Kayla more is this damn voice acting to be smarter than her now? Kayla asks herself annoyed

" well technically I am!" The voice answer Kayla's though sassily chuckling at the seriousness over Kayla's voice
"No no don't-" and just like that the voice
was cut off without Kayla even knowing
what she just did, unnoticeably Kayla cut of the mind link between her and her wolf because she didn't wanna her the voice anymore and her wanting the voice to go causes the mind link to shut down.
"What a pain in the ass!" Kayla
annoyedly yells lowly shutting the book together as she looked at the clock around her wrist afterwards as her eyes widened in panic She missed her class, the last lesson of her day is ending in less than 15 "omg what have you done?" She asks herself surprisingly as she hurries on out of the library this never happened before she never missed any of
her classes before what's going on today? Everything that's has never happened to her before pretty much happened all today seriously what kind of day is today?
•at the cafeteria after Kayla left•
"What was that about? Why did you
mate run away Nathan??" Josh asks
confused as all their eyes was glued to
the door Kayla just exited " shut up if you aren't gonna say anything helpful you retard!!" Nick says slapping the others shoulder as he looked at him irritatedly
Ashley massages Nathan shoulder softly
this time truly trying to show him that it's gonna be okey but once again Nathan didn't move Any born of his Where's he supposed to go in a world of blankness? His mate just walked out of this damn cafeteria after mercilessly breaking eyes contact with
him did he perhaps do something to
upset her? He didn't know.....but he's sure something must have happened and he'll make sure to know what it is,
"Ash give me yours phone?" Nathan says reaching his hands out to get phone but she just stood there surprised not matching his mood "Damn it Just hand it over mine
dead earlier!!" He shout lowly but not soft
as he tried to still keep his calmness "here!" She says handing her phone Over to him and he took it immediately mumbling "'thanks' Under his breath making sure no one heard clearly him but to bad she heard him and just stared at him in with proud smile over her lips as he looked though the saved contact on for a minute before he dialed the right number.
