It had been long a life and I was great full dieing while repaying Bane's favour. I saw my life flash through my eyes so I shut them and waited for the bite to land . It took longer than expected when I heard metal cranks. It was Maggs despite not knowing me she had come out for my rescue with a metallic pipe what a heart. She was a descent fighter . An observation I saw after dodging some very fast jaw snaps . I was too weak to move and my magic was taking longer than usual to return. The were wolf cornered Maggs and as I conjured a protection spell for her , he had taken a chunk out of her throat. It was game over , I summoned all the energy left within me and prepared myself to fight one last time if anything I would prefer to go out standing .

He turned his clenched jaw to me his eyes looked into mine. His paws tightened , his tilted himself backward to get enough propulsion force to pounce at me and snarled showing off his razor sharp teeth the could probably cut a clean hole into any.normal human bone. I had fought some furious monsters in my day so i wasnt scared .I too fastened my stance with my hands glowing a dangerous dark purple. The disrespect of coming into my home and murdering my guest he had to pay. He jumped and I waited for him to land close enough to me for me to deliver my fatal spell. He never did , he never landed or atleast not close to me. Instead a stronger force propelled him into a wall . I heard quite a number of bones shatter in his ribs he couldn't sustain his werewolf form so he shape shifted back into human form.

It was my fiancé he was here. I felt soo relieved . He had made it first because he was the fastest in the pack but the other guys were also on their way. That gave these wolves enough time to carry their wounded and leave because my fiancé s main objective was to protect me. I heard their car engine race away. He tried to chase after them and broke a few bones here and there . Such a temper this Travis. I was safe . I asked him to help me up and we left to check on Beth.

After Magnus had left . Mum had handed me a false drive and told me everything I needed to know was on their. I had never seen her soo cry . She had caressed my chick and told me I was special. She loved me more than I could ever imagine . Me telling her I loved her back made a stream of tears flow down her eyes . She then walked to the vault door . Typed in a pin code and laughed at how easy it was for her to guess it. Next thing I know I see The witch from earlier Magnus come in with another man . He was wearing all black with an average body build great physique. Messy hair and sneakers. "Hey are you ok". Magnus inquired. "Yes i am " I replied . "Where is mum," after I asked for my mother the whole aura in the room shifted. "Bethal darling I am so sorry," Magnus' facial expressions answered the question. He teared. I clearly knew what had happened but something in me refused to accept.

I tried to run to her but Magnus grabbed my hand pulled me in and hugged me tight. "Are you sure you want to see her like that ," a whisper befell my ear. I could hardly speak but I expressed myself in a node . And he let go of me then held me at a distance and looked deep into my eyes . As if to commend me. "She saved my life ," he held me on my shoulders as we walked there. The three of us. There were some other new faces I think they had come with the other guy Magnus was standing with. They kindly scooted aside in the hall way giving us room to pass asif they knew the tragedy that had befallen me. They gave me saddened looks it annoyed me soo much. As the corridor painted white got done it opened up to a wide room at the entrance .

There she was laying on the floor in a pool of blood. A piece of her neck had been bitten off. What kind of monster could do this . A piece of steel pipe in her hand. Her eyes ,the look in her eyes , whatever it wad that had killed her hadn't scared her. Her eyes were as warm as ever and her lips had a smile on them . It confused me. I didn't cry , I couldn't I just needed to get the animal that did this and make it pay. Quickly I grabbed a gun from one of the men standing close by and walked out the door. Magnus came running after me until her caught up . "Bethal were are you going ? " he asked as he turned me to face him ."

To find the monster that killed my mother and make it pay , to gauge its eyes out," anger was pulsating and flowing with in my veins. He explained that I first needed to learn a few things and after I had he would freely let me go and even help with my vengeance. The gun slipped and fell out of my arms and I let out a scream . A scream that took all I had in me making me fall down on my knees on the wet leaves on the muddy ground. First I had murdered my bestfriend and then my mother was killed in less than 6 hours from the first death.

I must be cursed why do these things keep on happening to me. Magnus assured me I was safe with him and told me this was my new home . But I was expected to be an adult. I agreed and he promised to handle everything. So he asked me if it was OK with giving him the gun which I did because honestly guns scared the hell out of me. "I need some time to myself ," I whispered . He heard and understood my request . He walked away and as he approached the front porch turned back to look at me . "Bethal your one strong girl and surely you will.make them pay." Then He turned and proceeded to go inside. Before he could take another step I called him ."Magnus ,you can call me Beth". He smiled and proceeded to go in. I fell back on my head and looked at the stars ,there was the moon . Despite everything it was always there my long time friend. He knew all my secrets and never said a thing to anyone. Tears flooded from my eyes for some reason . Maybe it was losing my mother ,or my bestfriend or the disease that affected my body was it a disease . Or were the stories true was this man an actual witch or is it warlock because he is a man. My whole world as I knew it was crumbling to the core.
