The scenery was still beautiful, the host of the scenic estate was still radiant, the day was not too cool or too hot, and the temperature was just right. Everything was right with the world. The birds were singing in the air, and the sun was shining just bright enough.

Yet…Something was wrong. Very wrong.

Bai Mo tried again and again to focus on the words coming from the taller ger's mouth. Xu Feng was about half a head taller than him.

(Bai Mo is about 5'7" and would be considered tall for a ger after his last growth spurt. More acceptable than Xu Feng who is like a giant, Godz*lla type of creature to those in Donghua.)

He would purposefully look up and try to pay attention to the movement of his friend's lips. Open and close. The full red lips moved slowly as usual; their excitement barely contained.

Xu Feng was clearly excitedly telling him something, but all Bai Mo could focus on was the glaring wrongness of the whole situation.
