10 Royal Badge

Montarini what?

For a few seconds Crescent's was blank as to Mr. Wandley's question but when it occurred to her that the name sounded familiar, her memory brought her to the Huzey Montarini. Wasn't that his corporation Mr. Wandley was talking about?

Huzey Montarini was one of the most controversial personalities in this country. He wasn't only extremely rich to the point that he was dubbed as the Diamond prince because Montarini Corporate both own a mining estate and M Centellar, an international jewelry company. Aside from this, Huzey Montarini was hailed very young as a national artist as he was an art prodigy who had been making remarkable masterpieces that even the ever famous master thief, took interest in stealing some of it. La Glamorosa, his very first piece that was sold, cost two billion dollars in the market—that's how legendary his artwork is.

His glory of course didn't end there because in this country, only he received an invitation to study at Rivendell Academy, the home of the elite geniuses and the top A-list school in the world.

However, Huzey Montarini's life didn't go that smooth despite all the honors and wealth he had. Years ago, the whole Montarini estate was seized by the government due to a mining explosion and the prince lost everything that in just one day he went from riches to rags. On top of that, he was there at the explosion and although he survived, the accident cost him his legs and face. People said he became a crippled monster after that incident and later on died mysteriously. Rumours had it that his health thoroughly deteriorated due to the aftermath of the explosion that one day it just gave up.

Just three years ago, someone cancelled out his death certificate and rumours about him being alive surfaced and all this was confirmed with the creation of Montarini Corporate that was composed of all the companies the diamond prince was able to retrieve back from the government and those he was able to build after years of hiding.

However, even with the confirmation of him being alive, no one had ever seen his face as he never appeared in any social gatherings and only sent out a representative all the time. There was even a rumour that he had gone into the Manggan Island, a very hostile island owned by the Manggan Tribe to be with his family who was residing there. These days, the Manggan Island was protected by both the government and L'Empire and so not everyone can go in and out without permission.

"Mr. Wandley, you are referring to the diamond prince's company right?" Crescent confirmed, just in case she heard it wrong.

"Yes Miss Garza, I was just wondering what is your connection with the Montarini Corporate," The old man went on with his curiosity.

"Ahhh..Mr. Wandley," Crescent surely didn't know what to answer because as far as she knew, she had no connections whatsoever with the Montarini Corporate because first, she wasn't from this country, second, she didn't even know which part of the country such a corporation was standing. "What makes you think I had some sort of connection with them? As far as I could remember—"

"Miss Garza!" Someone called for Crescent again and she already wanted to kill whoever it was. God! Can everybody just stop looking for her? She just arrived a minute ago and everyone was already annoying her to the bones! What's with this day?

When Crescent turned around, she saw her associate coming for her hurriedly that he almost slipped on the floor. Immediately, he dragged the girl with force as if there was something very important she needed to see.

"Beyotch, why didn't you tell me about this? How could you hide anything from me?" Her associate nagged on her as he was trying to pull her away, not minding that everyone was looking at them and the fact that there was an executive in front of them.

"Georgi!" Crescent gave him an immediate stare to warn him about Mr. Wandley's presence because it seemed that he had not noticed it. However, his associate seemed to not care.

"My oh my woman! Come on already, you cannot let them wait!" Georgi cussed on her because of her resistance. He was very aware of everyone's presence so was Mr. Wandley's presence but the person or rather persons who needed Crescent was more important than anyone in that company so hell yeah, he had to drag the girl no matter what.

"I'm sorry Mr. Wandley, my assistance seemed to have lost his manners today," Crescent apologized immediately but her poised stance was already out-balanced because of Georgi's force. Even when her assistant was feminine, he was after all a man, so he was naturally stronger than her specially that he was of big built.

"Crescent, what are you doing?" Georgi, who was honestly frustrated at Crescent's apathy, was already frustrated. How could she act this way at such a very important matter?

"You? What are you doing?" Crescent returned the question, wanting to push some sense into him knowing that an executive was standing at their very presence.

"Miss Garza you should go, you do not want such guests to wait," Mr. Wandley dismissed her because he had seen her reluctance to leave him. However he too does not want to take her time specially when he had seen at the entrance who her guests were.

"Guest? Me?" Her eyebrows crossed,

"Oh God they are here already! The security seemed to have allowed them to enter the entrance"

When Crescent dragged his eyes to the newcomers, he saw men all in blue suits coming in their direction. They were all of the same build, size and all gorgeous that suddenly the studio seemed to have turned into a modeling event. However before Crescent and everyone else in the room could droll at the parade of beautiful men, the golden badge at their front pocket caught her interest.

They had a royal badge. The very famous royal badge of Montarini Corporate!

"The fuck!" Crescent cursed at the sight of it.
