590 Desired Daughther-in-law

As planned, L'Empire announced Edmund Huang and Dian's engagement in her own debut party and although she pretended she was the happiest in front of the guest, she was raging mad inside. 

For the first time in her life, she felt that being the perfect flawless daughter was like a prison, probably more than a prison actually, because normally when people are released from prison they can go on with their lives, but Dian's circumstance was far from that. The door to her prison cell was open but she refused to leave because even when things fall apart, she can't turn her back from being the Lagdameo's perfect second miss. The risk was far too great for her to sacrifice it all, or probably she didn't have all the courage to do so like both Dannah and Darryl did.
