Boiling Water:

While everyone else was calming down after the attack, I chopped a piece of wood about as long as my right arm from a tree in a desperate attempt to keep my adrenaline going, as I knew that the second it went away I would feel pain like I had never felt before, plus, the piece of wood could be used to support my arm.

Once I had the piece of wood I just grabbed some nearby vines and tied my arm to the piece of wood before putting the vines over my left shoulder in an attempt to imitate a sling. Although I knew that my arm wasn't broken chances were that I wouldn't be using my right time anymore for a long time, so it would be best to just keep it in one position until it healed.

Once that was settled we all put all of the Suri sticks back together and divided them between everyone except for me who took the snake carcass with me using my left arm. Of course, there was no chance of us eating its meat because although it did have a lot of meat I had no idea whether it was safe to eat or not.

That didn't mean that the meat was useless though, as it could be used to set up traps to lure pumas and other carnivores to a certain area before ambushing them, after all their meat was safer to eat. The real reason why I was taking the carcass with me was not that though, as I was a lot more interested in the scales.

Although they were usually used in order to make exotic clothes or ornaments, that didn't mean that their skin did not have other uses. After all, the whole reason why they had them in the first place was for defense, making them a lot harder to break than anything else I could get my hands on, and making them a perfect material to make a garrote wire with.

As soon as we arrived back at the camp we ate breakfast and everyone went on to do their own things to pass the time. Usually, I would have gotten back to work on the house, but I hadn't forgotten about the rock pot so I did that instead, as I was using sharp stoned from the river to start carving though, I decided to ask the system about my current condition, after all, I did still have 20 RP, and it was better to be safe than sorry. Before I could open my pocket watch though, the system started talking on its own.

"Well host, regarding your arm's current condition thankfully you were lucky and your arm was barely able to hold itself together without your bones breaking, regardless your bone and muscles need time to heal, plus it will take some time to help fix your internal bleeding so I would recommend you to not use your arm for 6 weeks"

'Thanks, you know, maybe your not as bad as I thought'

"Of course host, after all, I am a partly pure being, regardless I do have to remind you to start speeding up, I can't wait forever, best of luck host :D"

Although I did feel a little mad after hearing its comment I had slowed down recently so I couldn't say that it was wrong. As for its comment about being a partly pure being, although I was not convinced, it was still interesting to think about as it meant that it was not the only one of its kind after all if it was the only one then he would not have referred to it as though all partly pure beings were good existences.

Regardless I spent the next two hours working on the pot before being done, mainly thanks to the extra help from Omar. I had already noticed that he had an interest in rock carving when he stared at what I was doing from a distance when I was making the axes, so when he once again stared at what I was doing while carving a pot, I told him to come over.

Since I knew that he didn't know what we were trying to make I just told him to start carving a hole in the middle of the big rock and stopped him before he created a hole through the bottom of the rock, telling him to start doing the same thing to the area on the sides of the newly created hole while I just worked on carving the outside of the pot.

In the end, although uneven and slightly larger than I had hoped for (about 2ft wide and 1ft long) it was still able to get the job done. As for how I would get it on top of the fire I just chopped the thickest tree nearby and carved it into Y-shaped pieces of wood that I put into the ground to support a thick piece of wood on top of the fireplace.

From there I skinned the tail of the snake to get its skin (This one was 28ft long meaning that I had a lot of skin to use). After that, I cut the skin into two pairs that were 3 ft long (The base of the pot was 1ft long, it was 1 ft high, and it has to be held 1ft below the stick making it so that the pot would be slightly above the fire).

Finally, I just tied both of them to the horizontal wooden pole at both ends of the pot and began a fire. After all, although it was still early, it would only be a bad thing if the whole thing fell apart and didn't work. Sadly, although it did work and the snakeskin was able to hold everything together, at the end of the day the snakeskin was not going to last another round of boiling water, so it was back to the drawing board.
