7 Class Selection

'There's a clearance reward as well? This feels more and more like a game now, no?'

However, this was a good thing!

Since he only got a C rating, did that not mean that there were the B and A ratings above it? Perhaps even an S rating?

Sean was incredibly ecstatic and instantly collected the clearance reward.

[Clearance Reward 1: Additional 2 Stat Points.]

Stats was one of the essential elements of any game.

Sean's Stats Interface was at the top right corner of the Control Panel.

[Name: Sean Feathermoon (This is not an ordinary surname. It's a legendary and reputable figure of the past, but he has yet to be recorded into history.]

[Race: Half-Human, Half-Elf. (An average-sized and intelligent race. Possesses the blood of both Humans and Elves. Commonly known as Half-Elf.]

[Stats: Strength 5, Agility 7, Stamina 8, Intelligence 12, Spirit, 18. (Possess an above-average Spirit)]

[Main Class: None]

[Subclass: None]

[Skills: Low Rank Common, Low Rank Elven, Low Rank Cooking, Low Rank Planting.]

[Equipment: Kobold Shaman's Staff (White Quality, Common Equipment), Dalaran Apprentice's Robe (White Quality, Common Equipment), Refined Iron Dagger (White Quality, Common Equipment)]

A Human adult, on average, had roughly 10 points in their 5 stats. Since Sean was still a young Half-Elf, he was slightly weaker in Strength, Agility, and Stamina. However, he had an abundance of Intelligence and Spirit. This was probably because his soul was merged and evolved when he transmigrated.

He was free to increase whichever basic Stats he chose to.

After giving some thought, Sean increased his Stamina.

This was because he was slightly physically weak, and Stamina represented endurance, resistance, and regeneration. These were all very important.

Any Mage would appreciate a better physique. No matter how powerful a Mage could be, they could be easily killed by an assassin if they were physically weak.

[Ding!]

[Congratulations on reaching 50 points for the Five Basic Stats, Commander. You've reached the requirement and a Class Advancement Quest has been triggered. Please choose your Main Class.]

What followed was a series of Class introductions. There were a total of 12 of them.

[Druid, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warrior, Paladin, Death Knight, Hunter, Warlock, Shaman, Monk, Demon Hunter.]

12 Classes, 12 options.

"So, I've got to make a choice and complete the corresponding Class Advancement Quest in order to change my Class? When I do, I'll have a Class?"

Sean cursed softly as he raised his arms. He then shut his eyes and began thinking.

Holy Light and Void, Arcane and Fel, Nature and Necromancy.

These six cosmic forces were the basic forces that created this universe. They were followed by the Four Great Elements - Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind. There was also a fifth Element, Spirit.

All 12 Classes were here.

Druid - the path of nature.

This was a class that worshipped nature. In normal circumstances, only Night Elves, Trolls, and Tauren could become a druid. Druids were able to use both Arcane and Nature Magic. They could even shapeshift into beasts and obtain the beast's vigor. It was an incredibly versatile Class and an excellent choice.

Mages were seekers of knowledge and understanding. They wielded Arcane Magic and had even categorized it into seven schools. The way Humans analyzed and applied Arcane Magic had been rumored to surpass even the Elves.

Priests believed in the Holy Light, but they did not reject the Void. Seeking equilibrium between the two forces or devoting themselves fully to one, three sects had been created. The Holy Priests, Shadow Priests, and Discipline Priests. It is recommended that Priests stay in churches and monasteries.

Rogue worshipped the Void, often ambushing from the shadows as an initial attack. They were incredibly strong in close combat. There were also those who specialized in direct combat, though, they were few in number. In a protracted battle, they would use a series of carefully selected skills as their combo, damaging and weakening the enemy's strength in order to land the final blow. Rogues were often seen as Thieves or Assassins.

Warriors were the most common Class. They were the ones who charged in first and used their bodies as shields. This Class was the most likely to get injured or die. However, a few legendary characters have emerged in the past, such as King Varian. The strength of a Warrior came from their body, flesh, and soul.

Paladins worshipped the Holy Light, and only the Holy Light. They wielded the Holy Light as a weapon in battle. Paladins were devout and elite warriors. Not just zealots, they were also guardians of justice. They blessed those the Holy Light shone down upon. The Holy Light radiates from Paladins, and comrades who stand near them are strengthened by its power.

The Death Knight was a rather unique Class. As the name suggested, one could only become a Death Knight by dying. This was a Class for those brought back from death. They were incredibly powerful and were filled with death's merciless cruelty.

Hunters, initially, had nothing to do with war. They were those who, in order to survive, had taken up their daggers and bows, killing farmers and beasts. They used bows and firearms and specialized in range attacks. Some claimed that Elven Rangers, Dwarven Riflemen, and Tamers were prime examples of Hunters. Although this was not accurate, they did have similarities.

Warlocks were people who had sold their souls to the Demons, gaining demonic power at the cost of their souls and lives. This Class was more evil than the Death Knights and were exceedingly powerful. Warlocks used Fel and Shadow Magic. The majority of Warlocks were former Shamans or Mages and still possessed the knowledge and Magic of their previous Class.

Shamans worshipped their ancestors and the Elements. They would communicate with their ancestors' souls and the natural Elements in order to obtain more strength. Shamans were all intellectuals among their own race.

Monks were a specialized Class for Pandaren. They would use their unique Qi to strengthen their bodies and train their souls. It was incredibly interesting.

Demon Hunters were those who willingly accepted the Burning Legion's Fel Energy. By wielding Fel Magic and Shadow Magic, they possessed the ability to transform along with Spectral Sight. They relied on their frightening agility to chase after and survive against most dangerous targets. Their only purpose in life was to combat the Burning Legion and kill Demons.

Without much thought, Sean eliminated more than half of the 12 Classes.

Priest and Paladins believed in the Holy Light and upheld the law. That was something Sean was not willing to choose. Strictly following the law was not in Sean's blood.

Rogues, be it in assassination, observation, or battle, required an agile body along with perceptive and sharp eyes. Rogues held their targets' lives in their hands by lurking in the dark and this was something Sean did not want.

Warriors were the ones who would stand on the frontlines of battle in order to protect the other Classes. Their bravery was praise-worthy, and they sought only strength and glory. However, Sean preferred to cast spells rather than fight on the frontlines.

Death Knights and Warlocks were Classes that would shock the Humans and Elves. As a Half-Elf, Sean would certainly not pick either. The problem was Factions. Sean had no plans to join the evil faction just yet. After all, he was a lawful person.

Shamans worshipped their ancestors and the Elements. However, it was impossible for Humans and Elves to put their faith in Shamanism. Sean would not bother picking it as one could not make someone believe in something if they refused to do so. How could someone who did not believe in Shamanism become a Shaman?

Although Demon Hunters sounded incredibly cool, Sean would have to give up on the idea of appearing in public if he were to become a Demon Hunter. If he were to do so, what would welcome him was being constantly chased and dead.

Hence, there were only four options left.
