29 Back to the City

The one who explain to me is a woman name miss Lidya. She is an archer. "The Swamp Valley is connected to Rocky Canyon. But before you arrive in Rocky Canyon you must pass Welling Cave. It's a small area, but many monster live in that. Maybe the monster from the swamp don't chased you anymore because you run through the Welling Cave"

"Really ? Damn.. How big this Mountain Range actually ? How can there are so many area ?" I'm surprise to hear what happen

"Well no one knows that. You see, Star Forest is span over the Kingdom and reach the other Kingdom too. That's why White River City is one the biggest City in the Clover Kingdom and a heaven for adventure or hell" said mr Finz

"Damn.. lucky me then" I said with low voice

"Roar !! roar !!"

A sound of beast heard. Then every one ready their weapon. I ready my guards too.

"Every one get ready. It's a Horned Black Bear" (Arron)

Then everyone get in their position.

"Don't move recklessly Rudeus. This is rank 9 monster beast. Merchilla you protect him. Lidya cover us in front."

"Ok" both miss Merchilla and Lydia said the same time

"Shield Overcharge.. Boom.." the vanguard hold the monster beast. His name is mr Zegar

"Phew.. phew.." miss Lydia shoot her arrow

"Roar !! roar !!" the black bear keep smashing. He charge over us

"Every one move" said mr Aaron

I run to my right with miss Merchilla.

"Hammer Strike.. Bam.." mr Klautz make a move and then miss Lydia shoot her arrow again

"Piercing Gale Arrow.. Puchi.." It hit deep in its body.

"Roar !! roar !!" the bear getting angry

"Don't let it break our formation. Hold it Zegar" shout mr Aaron

Mr Zegar then run towards the beast and use his shield to hold the beast in place.

"Bam.. boom.. bamm.. phew.. phew.."

All of them is keep fighting. Because of me miss Merchilla can not join the fight fully. I'm only run left and right to follow miss Merchilla.

After a few moment the beast is already badly injured and then mr Aaron finished with his battle skill

"Sword Cleave Giant Strike...." the beast dead after receive that

"Sigh..." all of them relax their body

"Ok everyone. Collect everything now." said mr Aaron

They are amazing. They have superb coordination. Maybe because miss Merchilla is the one whose not fight so she help to collect the monster beast body.

After it done we continue our journey back to the City.

"I'm sorry miss Merchilla, because of me you can't help your party." I said it dejectedly

"Haha.. don't sweet it Rudeus. After all they can still handle that beast" said miss Merchilla

"Yeah, it's not like we are in danger. No need to concern it Rudeus" said mr Klautz to try to cheer me up

"Do you know why we save you and bring you back to the City ?" said mr Klautz

I look at him and make a puzzled face"??"

"First of course we must help each other in need. But you can say we want to form our connection with you too." (Klautz)

"Huh what is that mean mr Klautz ?" (Rudeus)

"The easy way to say is maybe someday we need your help too." (Klautz)

"Really ? What kind of help ?" (Rudeus)

"Well we don't know it yet" (Klautz)

"??" (Rudeus)

"Alright. Let me explain a bit. You are different from us. You have a bright future. Even if you do nothing in the future you can join adventure immediately. So just say that we from our friendship before anyone else" (Klautz)

"I see. I'm in your debt then" (Rudeus)

"Hahaha.. don't sweet it Rudeus. You can say that it's better to make a friend then an enemy. Guys don't make Rudeus uncomfortable." said mr Aaron in front of us

"Yea yea. Sorry" said mr Klautz

We chat quite a bit after that. They ask me a few question about a student life and they told me their live as an adventure

We already walk for so long. I think about 3 to 4 hours. Along the way we fight quite a few strong monster beast, but not as strong as horned black bear from before.

From them I know that adventure have their own rank. Bronze plate consisted of E and D rank adventure, Silver plate for C and B rank adventure, Gold plate for A rank. There is a plates above Gold plate. But they said the people in that plate do more a dangerous mission and rare to see inside the Guild.

This Grey Deer Party Adventure is Silver rank party. They are the standard type of party who took a mission in the deeper level of Mountain Range.

Not only adventure have their own rank but monster beast too. Like that Horned Black Bear is rank 9 monster beast. When the monster reach rank 9 or 8 they have their own area and rarely leave their place. For information, that wolves and four arm bear is only rank 2 and rank 3 monster. Now I know why they are so weak.

When we keep walking the monster getting weaker and weaker and when I found the four arm bear It make feels happy. That means we already in the outer region of Star Forest. I even want to jump high.

"Alright guys, we already enter outer region so we can relax our guard now. We will arrive in the City less in hours if we increase our pace." said mr Aaron

Like mr Aaron said, just less in hours we truly arrive in the City. I already see the City gate.

When we arrive in front of City gate mr Aaron talk to the guards and then the guard look at me for a second. And then he let us enter the City.

I want to go back to Academy and rest in my room but I know that I must go to Adventure Guild first to explain what happen and help mr Aaron party.

The Adventure Guild is quite far from the east gate. It close to the City Center.

When we arrive in front of the Adventure Guild Building and enter it I'm surprise and said "Wow.. This place is big."

"Haha.. I believe it's not big as your Academy though." said mr Klautz

Even though is true this place is not as big as Academy but it still amazed me. It just have one building after all, but the size of it is even bigger than Student Affairs Hall.

I see many adventure is drinking and eat. Some of them is look at a bulletin board. Seems like it is a mission board. There is a stair in the back. The receptionist area is on the left. Seems like many of adventure accept and take their reward.

This place is bustling with so many voice. All in all, this place is really look like an adventure guild like the one I read in manga and novel in my past world
