Some People are just Ignorant

When I come to the Mission Area. There are so many student talking each other to what happen. It feels like something major is happen. At first I thought is not my business at all so I just let it pass.

But when I see the mission board, I'm shock to see the mission "Rescue Mission" it says.

So I ask a student what happen. The student said "a few student from the Academy try to gain more merit point in the monster tide mission, so they try to hunt the monster close to the army. Because of it they get trapped and can not back off to the City. So they run to different area but the monsters is chasing them."

"So how can the Mission just post today ? Is no one realize what happen that time ? It's been two days." I ask to the student

"Well, the team left their post when it's already in the fourth waves. You know right that many team is back off because their member is injured, even the supply team must fight in the last waves." then the student continue "The rescue mission just post yesterday at night. One of the member of that team come back yesterday with many injuries, she almost not survive. She told the instructor everything after that. She said that her team make an escape route for her so he can comeback to the Academy."

"Thank you friend" I said to the student

"Its fine. Many people already knows about it" the student nod at me

Sh*t what a stupid thing they did. Did they think they are level 9 Warrior or something. I believe they not even stronger than Lance who kill the monster waves alone.

Just I think deeply thought about and look into the mission, someone called me

"Rudeus, do you hear what happen ?" (Grid)

"Yes, I thought some people is just ignorant." (Rudeus)

"So, what are you doing ? That mission is kinda high level one. Even though is a five white star rank, I believe it's the same level as red star." (Grid)

"Yeah, I know. But why seems like no one gonna accept it ?" (Rudeus)

"Well, No one want to die right. The state of the student whose comeback is really bad. That means the monster is really strong. You should know that many student is still injured and they just finish a long fight. Do you think they will try to take a risk ? The mission is already been giving to adventure guild too as a quest." (Grid)

"I see. So what are you doing in here Grid ? Accept some mission?" (Rudeus)

"Yeah at first I want to do that but when I heard what what happen I think I change my mind" (Grid)

"Wait, don't tell you are gonna do that right." (Rudeus)

"What do you think Rudeus ? Are you gonna join me ? Seems like Darvan is still not recover yet so he won't join I guess. But I think we can find someone who can join us" (Grid)

"Hmm.. damn it. Let's do this then. It's not like these three star mission will be more useful to me now. Let's go for a big one" (Rudeus)

"But, where we find the other member ?" (Rudeus)

"Well let's go to that person first then." Grid said it mysteriously

Grid bought me the place called Student Underground Area, Student Dumpster. It's a place where the thrash and garbage be burn to ashes.

"Is Grid will get someone in from here ?" I thought and make a confused epression

Not long after Grid say to someone "I know you are here Velma. Do you have a moment?"

"What do you want Grid ?" a gild voice is heard from a dark small alley

"There is a rescue mission. I want you join us. You should know the rewards is quite amazing" (Grid)>

"Hmm.. you want to save those fools ?" the girl voice answered

"Well, in the end they still a student like us right. I know you are not tempt to rescue them but the rewards should enough for you right" (Grid)

"Chh.." after a few silent the girl continue "Alright then, but I want to know whose the person will join this mission. I don't want some kind of idiot join."

"Right now it's only us three. Me, you and this friend of mine, Rudeus. He has a powerful body battle skill that not even the armored lizard can hurt him. And the last person I want to invite is Dion Douglass. You should know him right." (Grid)

"Hmm.. alright then. If you can make him join I will join too. Come to me again after he agreed to join" said the girl

"Alright" (Grid)

When Grid talking to that mysterious girl. I keep looking around where is she. I try to see deep into the alley buy I found nothing.

After we left Grid said to me "Her name is Velma. She is an assassin type warrior. She like to be in the dark and that alley is the darkest place in the Academy"

When Grid said that I turn around too see the alley.

"So where are we going next ? To invite that student name Dion Douglass" (Rudeus)

"I believe he will that place. Tree Garden" (Grid)

We arrive in the Tree Garden. I know there is a beautiful are inside the Academy but I never visit at all. This is the first time I come to this place. We found the student name Dion immediately. He is watering the flower.

"Dion." (Grid)

"Oh it's you Grid. What's wrong ?" (Dion)

Then Grid ask Dion to join and explain to him what happen.

"Hmm.. alright then. Let me pack up my things first. Let's meet in Mission Hall in three minutes." (Dion)

"Ok." (Grid)

After Dion agree to join us we back toward the Student Dumpster again. When we walk I ask a few thing to Grid.

"I never know you know so many people Grid ? And seems like all of them is powerful too." (Rudeus)

"No, I don't know them Rudeus. I only know their name. You should know I don't really like to get close to other person" (Grid)

"Really. I know you don't like to get closer to others, but seems like you are well known by them" (Rudeus)

"Hmm.. remember my eyes ability. Because of my eyes ability, I'm a good at scout and they ask me to help them if they search a monster or a place. But I try search their information first before I decide to help them" (Grid)

"Wow that's amazing." (Rudeus)

After we informed the girl name Velma, all of us meet in the Mission Area and accept the rescue Mission.
