Guild Leader
I look at the quest board and see there is a few quest that looks quite good. If I can say, the highest quest in the adventure guild will be the same as one and two red star mission from the Academy. The different is there are quite a few of them in the Adventure Guild, more than 10 quest but in the Academy there is only three to five of them.
That's why many senior in the Academy search their own way to become stronger. Because for 3 red star mission and up, it can only happen once in a while. Most of it because something big happen.
Just as I keep looking at quest board, a few people still look at me.
After a while, its already back to like before even though they still whisper something about me and what happen. They take care of the drunk man.
"Ahem.. excuse me, can we talk for a second ?" I heard a man voice beside me
I turn my head and see the man who looks in his thirty. He is a taller than me a head. Even though he is in his thirty, he still looks very handsome. He has a slim body but I can feel the pressure from it. It will make anyone feels suffocated.
"Hmm.. did you called me ?" I ask the man
"Yes" the man nod his head and said "I'm sorry, let me introduce first. My name is Weiss Zalvard. I'm a Guild Master. Can we talk a bit me Rudeus ?"
"A Guild Master. What happen ? Oh right, I punch that drunk man and break a few table and chairs" I thought as I look at him and the place where the drunk man crash
"Sure." I said and bow my head "I'm sorry, I broken a few property of the guild. I will take responsible for that."
"Hahaha.. you don't need to worry about that mr Rudues. Miss Karen already told me what happen. Actually I'm the one who should say thanks. Not only you protect our receptionist but you even give that adventure a lesson. Haha.." said mr Weiss and with laugh
"Well, can we talk for a moment mr Rudeus? It's better we talk in my office." (Weiss)
"Sure Guild Master Weiss" I nod at him and we walk to his office in the third floor.
After I enter the Guild Master Office and he let me sit.
"Hmm.. would you like some tea or coffee ?" (Weiss)
"No thank you. Just a water please" I said respectfully
"Alright. Well, you don't need to be so nervous mr Rudeus." said mr Weiss while he give me a water.
"Thank you" I nod at him and said "Why you called me Guild Master ? If it's about before I.."
Before I finish my sentences he said "I know you will take responsibility for what happen but like I said no need to worry, I already take care of everything. After all you are not the one in fault."
"I see. So why then ?" I ask confusedly
He sit down and said "well, you can say that I want to meet you in person and see the one who complete the mission to collect the Bone of Hundred years beast. It make me shock when I heard a student complete that mission, what's more a group of a first year student. It makes me wondering if I already become too old. Hahaha.."
"Ah.. we just quite lucky actually" I scratch my head
"Well I don't know if you believe this but for me, luck also a person strength. So even if you said you all complete it with a luck, in the end you all still succeed." (Weiss)
"I see. Thank you Guild Master" I nod at him
"Nah, don't call me with that. Just call me my name." (Weiss)
"Well mr Weiss then. Just call me Rudeus" (Rudeus)
"Haha.. good." (Weiss)
After a few second of silent mr Weiss suddenly said "Well Rudeus, beside meeting you I need you to told me what happen. Don't worry I already take care of it and miss Karen already told me too. But I want to heard it from you"
I told him what happen and he just nod and said "I see. Miss Karen told me the same too".
"Actually I'm really glad that you did it." (Weiss)
"Huh.. ?" (Rudeus)
"You know, sometimes I don't like sit in this position. Even though I'm the Guild Leader but in the end my job is only to overseer the Guild. Sigh.." (Weiss)
"I don't get it mr Weiss." (Rudeus)
"Hmm.. right now many people think that if they become adventure they become a person who has power to do what they want. But they don't realize that people who become adventure, they have a great responsibility. Not only they need to do the quest but they have responsible to protect the people. Only a handful of adventure realize the true meaning of adventure." mr Weiss sigh and continue said "Right now most of them only use their power to gain profit and do something that make us adventure looks bad in the outside. As a Guild Leader I can't do nothing to it. I'm a man in high position but it looks like useless."
I just silent and look at him. I don't know how to answer that because I think what he said is right.
"So mr Weiss, do you need my help or something ? But I think that I can't do anything either. You should know that I become adventure just because I need to search my own resource to become strong." (Rudeus)
"I know. Well, yes I need your help but you don't need to do anything. I know that you need more resource. But because of that, it mean that you will take a high rank mission as adventure. I hope that when everyone see it they will realize what adventure are. So that's why you don't need to do anything, just do what you need to do." (Weiss)
"Alright I understand then mr Weiss" (Rudeus)
"Next, I already heard a few things about you from the Academy Rudeus and I believe you need more knowledge about beyond level 9 Warrior right" (Weiss)
I'm a bit shock heard it but I nod "Yes."
"How about this then. You can ask me everything about it and I will answer everything that you need. I will even give you a few tips that will be useful too you" (Weiss)
I look confusedly and said "What do I need to do in return ?"
"Hahaha.. no. You don't need to worry about it. You know, sooner or later I believe you will pass that stage. So right now it's better for me to form a good connection with you than later. This is not only my decision but from Adventure Guild perspective too." (Weiss)
"I see. Well thank you for your help mr Weiss." (Rudeus)
"Good. Hahaha..." (Weiss)
"Well, you can ask me everything then" (Weiss)
Ans so I ask everything that I need to know about the level beyond level 9 Warrior.
