Chapter 07: We Do A Little Trolling

– Grayfia Lucifuge –

"I don't wanna," Kuro said petulantly, smirking as she sighed. She shouldn't have called him childish; she could tell he'd made the decision to be a pain the moment she said the words. "You started it."

"Really, Kuro? Are you a mage, or are you a petulant child?" Grayfia asked, making him smile.

"I can be both, besides I don't see any reason why I shouldn't keep ignoring Rias. Best case, she gets increasingly desperate and becomes more generous in her gifts. I don't want to join her Peerage or fight this Riser guy. Hell, I might just go and hide in my lair for a few weeks; if she asks, it's because you and her siscon of a brother wouldn't leave me alone," Kuro said, shrugging as she forced herself not to react to his casual insult.

He was enjoying using Rias to inconvenience them, and having Kuro vanish until after the marriage would make Rias hate them both for ruining her fun.

"Are you so determined to be unreasonable?" Grayfia sighed, making him smile.

"I want you to get the hint and fuck off, so yes. I'm determined to be unreasonable; now go away. I'm bored of listening to you," Kuro said, making her glare at the unbelievably stubborn mage.

"Kur-"

"Blah blah blah, not listening. Look, I've decided to burn this place down because I don't need it anymore, and I'm going back to my lair. Feel free to stick around while the place burns around you," Kuro said, rising as her eyes widened.

"Kuro, please, just listen to me, and I will be out of your hair," Grayfia pleaded, pride wounded as Kuro paused. She had no way to stop him from just leaving like he had after she'd attacked him; it wasn't any normal form of teleportation and if he vanished, she would have failed her King.

She never failed him, and some childish mage wasn't going to ruin her record.

"As I have already said, I don't wanna," Kuro replied spitefully, uncaring of how much he was antagonising her. "Why should I listen to you?"

Sighing, she gave him a dirty look.

"What would it take to get you to listen? This immaturity isn't helping either of us," Grayfia said in frustration, unused to dealing with someone so annoying. She couldn't believe that she, one of the strongest devils, was reduced to bargaining just to get someone to listen to her.

"Hmm," Kuro dragged out, sitting back down. "Take your dress off; if I have to listen to you, you can at least give me some eye candy while I listen to you drone on," Kuro demanded, her eyes widening in disbelief.

"You want me to strip for you, just to get you to have a conversation?" Grayfia asked, her pride raging at her as he grinned.

"What I want is for you to fuck off, but if I have to listen to you, yes. I want you to strip," Kuro said shamelessly. "Tick, tock. Start stripping, or I'm out of here."

What a brat, this human mage daring to demand such a thing from someone so much stronger than him… she glared at him, silently demanding he change his mind, but as he rose, she stopped him by rising to her feet.

Her glare didn't lessen as she started to undo her dress, seeing him grin as she slowly removed her maid outfit. She was an old devil; if he thought she could be shamed by being in her underwear, he was very much mistaken. She just hated that a mere human was able to push her to this.

Neatly folding up her dress, she sat back down in only a lacy set of matching white undergarments, Kuro's eyes lingering on her barely-covered breasts as she crossed her arms over them.

"Fine, talk. Why should I get involved in these nonsensical devil politics?" Kuro asked, crossing his arms as she forced herself to calm down.

"Because you can't bury your head in the sand forever. You have great potential. How quickly you are growing in strength makes that clear, but it is being hampered by your immaturity and naivete. The other factions won't leave you alone, and being independent means you have no allies," Grayfia said, changing tact. "Lord Sirzechs gave you a very good offer; you'd be a High-Class devil after the Rating Game, a position of power and influence from which you can continue your research far more efficiently."

"At the cost of being dragged into the three factions, permanently. See, you aren't wrong, but what you don't seem to understand is that I have better choices than becoming a devil, a second-class citizen being looked down on by the 'Pureblood' devils," Kuro countered, smirking. "But thankfully, Azazel is coming to meet with me soon regarding the Fallen that were trying to kill me, and joining the Grigori is far less permanent and wouldn't need me to change my race."

"The Grigori are far weaker than the Devils, and they are currently caught up in a civil war. Even if you did join, you'd be in a worse position-"

"Ah, but you're forgetting. I have Excalibur Rapidly and Boosted Gear in a jar. Azazel studies Sacred Gears and would love a bargaining tool for the Church, so I'm sure I could buy my way into a very cushy position, or maybe I'd just join one of the many mage organisations around instead. The Grigori even supports several of them, so maybe I could do both. Get Azazel to get me into a nice, easy position in exchange for giving him back his Fallen, Rapidly, and Boosted Gear," Kuro pointed out, and despite her best efforts not to respond, she froze for just a moment.

And Kuro noticed it.

Boosted Gear? She knew he'd stolen the body of some student Rias planned to recruit but to know that they had Boosted Gear and Kuro had extracted it was… worrying to say the least.

That would be even worse than Kuro vanishing. If she accidentally pushed him to join their enemy (even if the war was very cold and hopefully going to get colder), that would be far worse than just failing her duty.

"That doesn't solve the fact that the Grigori is currently having a civil war, which you indirectly caused by exposing Kokabiel's betrayal. Kokabiel and his followers will want you dead," Grayfia pointed out, panicking slightly.

"Which is why I should hide in my secret lair, away from everyone, until the war is over. Then I join up with the Grigori for a decade or two, getting a very nice deal with Azazel with the mountain of bargaining chips I have," Kuro once again pointed out, making her start to worry.

He was right, it was the best plan he probably had. It gave him time to get strong enough and protected him without being permanently locked into any one faction. He could easily negotiate a temporary contract with Azazel, who would give so much more just for Boosted Gear without mentioning the captured Fallen and Excalibur.

She remained silent, trying to think of a reason that this plan wouldn't work, and finding nothing. Her best hope would be Kokabiel winning, and Azazel already had him on the run. That wasn't even mentioning the fact that Kokabiel was a Warhawk who hated devils, so that would only make everything worse.

"So, again. Why should I stick around Kuoh and deal with you devils not being able to take no for an answer when I can just wait and win by doing nothing at all," Kuro asked, making her pause.

"I have to admit, I… underestimated you," Grayfia admitted, making him chuckle.

"Is this the part where you try and kiss my ass to stop me from going over to the other side?" Kuro asked, her eyes narrowing.

"No, it was a genuine compliment. You've put more thought into this than I expected," Grayfia lied. "Are you not afraid I'll simply attack you? You are threatening to join our enemies after all."

"Please, threats? Go on, attack me. Do it, you pussy, you won't," Kuro scoffed. "We both know it wouldn't work. You could reduce this body to atoms, and I'd be fine. Do you think I'd be sitting here if I didn't have complete assurance that you couldn't kill me in another temper tantrum?"

She stayed quiet, not knowing how he got away utterly unharmed last time.

"You'd gain nothing but the brief satisfaction of hurting me at the cost of alienating Rias for years after I vanish and make it clear that you are to blame. Of course, then you'd have to explain to Serafall why I won't be showing up again when she wants to get in on this Fallen negotiation and Azazel why I'm MIA with his Fallen. So go ahead, attack me," Kuro baited, staring her down. "You can't hurt me in a way that matters, and you know it. So yes, you're stronger than me, and yes, you could easily beat me, but you'd win the battle and lose the war. Even if you managed to kill me, what would that get you? A grand total of fuck all."

She didn't reply, not wanting to admit that he was right.

"If I killed you, Rias could resurrect you into her Peerage and take the choice out of your hands," Grayfia tried, entirely off-kilter from dealing with Kuro.

"I like Rias, I do. But let me be clear, you do that? You'd have to keep an eye on me at all times; the moment you look away, you'd look back to find Rias' corpse and me long gone. I'll take being a hunted stray devil over being enslaved," Kuro threatened back, making her blood run cold. He'd do it; she could tell from the sheer steel in his voice he meant every word. "Good luck telling Sirzechs that you accidentally got his little sister killed; I'm sure that would go over just wonderfully."

A cold silence filled the room, and despite how badly this was going, she couldn't stop herself from developing a sliver of respect for Kuro and his refusal to back down, even if it was to her detriment.

"I have never failed my master, and he wishes for me to get you to stop this childish game of ignoring Rias. What will it take for you to go back to how things were before I ruined them?" Grayfia finally asked, being blunt as she stared him down.

She half expected him to demand sex, given the way he had been looking at her nearly-naked body, his eyes lingering on her breasts and long, bare legs.

"Just to go back to letting Rias try and recruit me?" Kuro asked, making her nod. This would at least delay any attempt to join the Grigori.

"Lord Sirzechs and Lady Serafall have sent some of their agents to subtly ensure that Kokabiel does not make any further attempts to interfere with Kuoh; you will be safe from his agents there. Our attempt to push you to accept Rias' offer was a mistake; I simply wish to rectify it," Grayfia said, seeing him lean back with a curious look in his eyes. "Name your price."

It wasn't ideal, but it would be a start to getting Kuro into Rias' peerage. She couldn't let Kuro and Boosted Gear slip away, certainly not to any of the other factions.

She was Sirzechs' Queen, his Maid and his Wife, in that order. She really didn't like Kuro, even with the reluctant respect she had developed for him, and servicing him to make up for attacking him would be the most shameful moment of her life, but she would not fail Sirzechs.

As his lips twitched, she knew she wasn't going to enjoy his next words.

– Shortly After –

She took it back; it wasn't that she didn't like Kuro. She fucking hated him.

Bent over, she held onto the metal bar in Kuro's 'lair', having been teleported in by the mage, biting down her reaction. This was ridiculous, absolutely obscene; she was laughably naive when she feared that he'd want sexual favours.

Compared to this humiliation, she would happily let Kuro fuck her if it got her out of this, as Kuro's hands massaged her large bloated breasts.

Wearing nothing but a pair of enchanted cow-print panties, she forced down her moan as Kuro milked her breasts gently, her titty milk going into the bucket he had prepared. This was absurd; she was the second-strongest female devil, and here she was, letting some mage molest her naked breasts.

But this was the price, her breast milk for his alchemical research. She wanted to claim he was talking out of his ass, but when the alternative was to accept defeat and let Kuro vanish from the public eye… she was very tempted to do just that.

But she already could tell that she wouldn't be able to return to his lair, and he claimed it was one of multiple extra-dimensional lairs he had made. Not to mention, the very air in the lair felt so good, tingling her senses before she'd even been ordered to change into this ridiculous outfit.

He'd admitted that he'd desecrated the lair, another thing that made him even more valuable.

"N-not a single word about this, to anyone; you are to keep your mo- oh, ooooh~ keep your mouth shut, Kuro," Grayfia warned, shuddering as he skillfully toyed with her breasts, squeezing the milk out of them. Why did he even have a pair of enchanted panties that made girls lactate? She didn't want to know.

"Sure, sure. I won't tell Sirzechs that I milked his sexy wife," Kuro agreed with an unseen grin as she tried to suppress the pleasure. Why did this feel so damn good? Her panties were already drenched as Kuro molested her breasts.

She had wanted to milk herself, as ridiculous as this was, but he insisted on doing it, 'for alchemical reasons' of course. Bullshit, he just wanted to play with her tits, and she was letting him.

She should have killed him the moment she found him with Rias. Now, the perverted mage was having his way with her unresisting body, and all she could do was try not to cum from his unwanted ministrations.

One of his hands left her breast, moving to steal a quick grope of her ass, which made her glare at him, but he simply stared back, challengingly. A moment passed, even as his other hand continued to squeeze the milk from her.

She relented, looking away as his hand returned to her ass. Her silent acceptance encouraged him, groping and squeezing more roughly as she closed her eyes and tried to think of anything but the situation she was in.

She'd produced a lot of milk, filling a single bucket already, and was unsure when this torture would end. Her breathing sped up, nipples rock-hard as Kuro played with them, and much to her shock, she felt his lips latch onto one of them, sucking hard as her eyes shot open.

She wanted to curse him, but what left her mouth was a lewd moan as she came from the sensation of breastfeeding him. Gasping, she glared at him through hooded eyes as he pulled back and shrugged.

"I was curious," Kuro said shamelessly, giving her a spank before he went back to milking her. She couldn't keep track of how long this continued or how many times she'd reluctantly climaxed from his molestations, but finally, even the magic of the panties prevented any more milk from being squeezed from her abused breasts.

Kuro frowned but let go, and finally, she stood up, panting and soaked in sweat.

"W-we are done here; you will stop ignoring Rias," Grayfia spat, glaring at him.

"I will. I keep my word," Kuro agreed easily. "I'll show you the way out, but first… you're still wearing something of mine."

Glaring at him, she didn't even hesitate to rip down the cursed panties, uncaring of giving him a show as she stood before him, utterly nude. He'd gotten her to change in his apartment, which meant all her clothes and underwear were still there.

He teleported them both back, but she paused as she stared at the burnt ruin that was once his apartment, using magic to hide from the first responders.

"Oops, guess you're going home naked," Kuro said shamelessly, giving her a pat on the ass as she glowered at him.

She really hated him, but hopefully, she wouldn't have to see his smug face for a long time. Nobody could ever find out about this.

– Kuro Sasaki –

I totally stole her dress and underwear, but for good reason! Because it amused me.

Getting to work, I move the devil milk to my alchemy lab. I wasn't kidding about wanting them for alchemical purposes because I have a big plan. But first, I have a little trolling to do.

Because I need to bait her into coming back, and I have just the thing.

Spending some time editing the video, I post it with a grin as I get to work. Nobody threatens me.

– Grayfia Lucifuge –

Standing before Sirzechs, she felt her blood run cold as she heard a moan, her moan, come from his computer.

"He recorded it," Grayfia stuttered, her mind racing. She didn't see any cameras, but he'd done something similar to the Fallen girls…

Oh, Maou, he said he wouldn't say a word. He hadn't; he'd posted it instead.

"Quite, he posted a teaser of you and paywalled the full video. He's made quite the fortune off the film already," Sirzechs said, raising an eyebrow as she heard herself cum. "I must admit, while I wanted you to fix things, this isn't exactly what I meant."

"He- he was planning to go to the Grigori after Azazel dealt with Kokabiel, taking Rapidly and Boosted Gear; I managed to convince him to stay in Kuoh and not go into hiding or join any faction in exchange for allowing him to… milk me," Grayfia admitted. "He should be talking to Rias again."

"Hm, I can certainly see why you'd go to such lengths," Sirzechs admitted, pausing the video. "Kuro is certainly an odd one, isn't he?"

Was he mad? She honestly couldn't tell; he mostly just seemed amused by the entire situation and not sure what to make of it.

"I do believe I need to have another word with Kuro," Sirzechs said, lips twitching. "I admire his boldness, but he might be taking things a little too far."

"He burned down his apartment. Apparently, he found us showing up annoying," Grayfia said, shame and humiliation filling her. How many people had seen the video?

"Quite, I've actually messaged him this time. Oddly enough, he's willing to come here to meet with me tomorrow. He wants you to pick him up from outside his former apartment tomorrow after school," Sirzechs explained, making her growl. "You know, I've never seen someone get under your skin like him before. Not even during the war."

"Kuro is uniquely frustrating," Grayfia admitted, clenching her fists.

"Will it be a problem?" Sirzechs asked, but she shook her head.

"He wants to get under my skin, and I will not let him win," Grayfia swore.

– Kuro Sasaki (Next Day) –

After school finishes, I lazily make my way out. Rias is happy that I'm willing to actually talk to her again, even if I told her I had plans today already. We had lunch together, which started all kinds of rumours.

Since I had been ignoring her, the current rumour is that we were dating, but she'd slept with Kiba, and I'd dumped her, from what I've heard. Our 'relationship' healing has only intensified the rumours.

Arriving at the spot several minutes late, Grayfia's glare is intense. Obviously, I'm possessing another body this time. No need to take unnecessary risks, and I give her a lazy wave.

"You are a piece of shit, you know that?" Grayfia asks, her formal maid talk gone as she glowers at me.

"How does it feel to go viral?" I ask, making her growl. That little video has had a lot of views, and I made a small fortune in the Underworld currency thanks to selling the video on the Devil equivalent of OnlyFans.

Grayfia has never been seen in less than her maid dress, so to have her naked body on display was quite the money maker. I made the account for when I was teasing Ray-Ray, but I saw an opportunity to get some money and took it.

"I hate you," Grayfia swears, grabbing me as she teleports us without any formalities.

My first visit to the Underworld, being dragged around by a pissed-off maid cosplayer.

"Grayfia, I think you can let our guest go," Sirzechs says, clearly amused, as Grayfia pushes me forwards. "Hello again, Kuro. Why don't you take a seat?"

Taking a seat, I deliberately lounge in it, utterly relaxed.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" I ask, making him chuckle.

"You know, when I invited you to Kuoh, I have to admit I didn't expect this," Sirzechs says, not seeming particularly offended at what I did. It would be fine even if he were, because I have a secret weapon.

– Sirzechs Lucifer –

Grayfia clearly wanted to shout at Kuro, lounging around like he owned the place, even putting his feet on the table, but Sirzechs gave her a look. Kuro was trying to antagonise her, and she was falling for it entirely too much.

"Please, you invited me to Kuoh on a whim; I'm just another thing you've tossed at the wall that is the Riser situation to see if I stick," Kuro scoffed, and Sirzechs gave a nod in agreement. "Honestly, if you wanted to help Rias, you should have sent her a therapist, not a mage. It's hilarious; she's got a half-fallen who could use light to stop Riser's regeneration, but she hates herself more than she loves Rias. Let's not even mention Koneko's fear of her heritage or how Kiba would have a murderous breakdown if I waved Rapidly at him."

Kuro knew more than he thought.

"You are well informed," Sirzechs said, not responding. Kuro wasn't wrong.

"I enjoy knowing what I'm dealing with, and finding out that Rias' peerage is full of broken dolls didn't exactly sell me on joining her either. I'm sure she thinks that playing student is helping them, but if you guys had gotten Akeno a therapist years ago, Rias wouldn't need me," Kuro shrugged.

"A fair point, to be honest," Sirzechs admitted. "But not why you are here today. I hope you realise that your little joke has damaged my wife's reputation. I can't say I'm thrilled about it."

"Oh yeah?" Kuro asked, smirking slightly, obviously still unafraid.

"You are up to something," Sirzechs realised.

"And you triggered my trap card when you called for a meeting, because I can promise you one thing. You are going to beg me to milk those fat tits again," Kuro promised, making them both blink.

"Excuse me?" Sirzechs asked, seeing Grayfia's utter befuddlement.

"You heard me. We're going to have a conversation, and afterwards, you are going to thank me for milking your wife and beg me to do it again," Kuro swore, leaving them both baffled.

Kuro was not a dumb person; in fact, he was a little too clever for his own good, so Sirzechs couldn't deny he was caught off guard by the bold claim, curious about where this was going.

"Is that so? Impress me then," Sirzechs said, a smile on his face.

"What is the biggest fear of pureblood devils? What makes them fear the reincarnated devils so much?" Kuro asked, making him pause.

"Being replaced," Grayfia answered, making Kuro smile.

"Replaced, outnumbered. Turning other races into devils is far faster than trying to reproduce, with your laughably low fertility, so you're rapidly getting outnumbered by reincarnated devils, and it terrifies you," Kuro said, and he wasn't wrong. "That's where I come in, along with your lovely wife."

Pulling out a vial, he placed it on the table between them. Inside was a milky white liquid, but it wasn't just Grayfia's breast milk.

"This is a fertility potion made especially for devils. If a single partner drinks this, the chance of impregnation after a single round should be around 90%. If both drink it? You're looking at incredibly high chances of triplets, let alone a regular pregnancy. Do you want to guess one of the key ingredients?" Kuro asked, his eyes widening in shock.

"You turned devil breastmilk into a fertility potion?" Grayfia asked, utterly befuddled.

"The more powerful the devil, the more effective the final potion. And as you like to tell people, you're the second strongest female devil," Kuro said, a smirk on his face. "You won't be able to recreate it without my help, but in that bottle lies the solution to all those panicking purebloods, the way to ensure your dwindling population rises again, the fun, old-fashioned way. Take it, test it, oh Satan of Domestic Affairs, because that's the solution to many of your biggest problems."

Again, he wasn't wrong.

If they could reliably reproduce, most of the purebloods wouldn't fear the new blood nearly as much, which would make passing the laws to give those new blood devils more rights easier. It was a miracle in a vial, and Kuro knew this.

"Why would you care about devil problems?" Grayfia asked, making Kuro snort.

"I don't; what I do care about is the money this will grant me. Research isn't free, you know. Of course, with some minor changes, I can make a Fallen Angel variant; I'll find a client for my goods, one way or the other," Kuro said, making Sirzechs blink before he burst out laughing.

"You really should have been born a devil; you truly have the personality down already," Sirzechs praised, making Kuro shrug.

"Sin isn't exclusive to devils," Kuro replied.

"Indeed. If this truly does what you think it does…" Sirzechs started.

"It does. It hasn't been tested, but I know my stuff. Death isn't my only speciality," Kuro said confidently.

"If that is the case… thank you for milking my wife," Sirzechs laughed, making Grayfia facepalm as Kuro laughed. "You truly are a fascinating man, Mr Sasaki."

"It was my pleasure, hers too," Kuro taunted, making Grayfia sigh even as she remained silent. She was clearly dumbstruck with the implications of that tiny vial, too shocked even truly to take offence at his taunting. "Oh, when you have your big meeting about this world-changing discovery, tell Serafall I want her to get her magical girl booty over to me so I can milk her as well."

It was an obscene statement, but if he was right… Serafall would happily let him do exactly that.

"Oh, it also speeds up the pregnancy cycle quite a bit, an unintended side-effect but one I decided to keep; it would have been a lot of work to make the potion worse otherwise; the quality of the main ingredient was just too good," Kuro explained, giving Grayfia's breasts a look. "When you've tested it, and you know what I have to offer, you know where I'll be."

He placed several more vials on the table, giving them one last smug look before he vanished. Kuro didn't even bother standing up as he teleported away, leaving them staring at the bottles in disbelief.

"I hate that boy," Grayfia swore, but her heat didn't quite hide her shock.

"If he's telling the truth, you realise he'll likely want to milk you again," Sirzechs pointed out, making her sigh. Compared to the reward, Kuro was absolutely right. If these worked, he would beg Kuro to milk Grayfia again.

"I really hate that boy," Grayfia said simply, resignation in her tone. And yet, he knew she was somewhat proud of what her materials had been used to make. It was an odd situation for all of them.

Except Kuro, who seemed to have gotten exactly what he wanted. What an interesting boy, indeed.

– Kuro Sasaki –

Returning home, I head through my lair with a smile as I hear the sounds of muffled moans. Entering the room, I watch for a moment as Mittelt milks Raynare, Raynare glaring as she is held in place by the restraints.

I told them they'd be paying rent.

Kalawarner is milking herself, she's quite the obedient one, and Mittelt is their prison warden.

"T-this is insane, you- Mhmmm~ you are mad," Raynare spits out, trying not to react to the rough ministrations from Mittelt. The panties I enchanted have both Lactate and several pleasure enhancement spells tied to them, and both Raynare and Kalawarner are wearing nothing but their new uniforms.

I have quite the little farm here.

"Sir, I believe I've almost finished milking this fat-titted cow," Mittelt says, giving Raynare's tits a slap. She's enjoying her new position of power over her former boss, making me grin.

"Well done, Mittelt; I take it she wasn't giving you too much trouble?" I ask, which makes Mittelt smirk.

"She wasn't, even if she won't stop complaining; I don't know why she's whining. She's finally getting to cum," Mittelt points out as I shrug. "She's even finally found a use for these big useless bags of fat."

As she says that, she tweaks one of Raynare's nipples, making her squeal slightly.

"Some people are never happy," I say with a shrug.

"I believe I am also almost complete, sir," Kalawarner says, sitting next to two full buckets. The lactate spell cannot make something out of nothing, so eventually, the girls 'run out' and are left hungry and tired. A large meal fixes that.

"Good girl, Kala," I praise, making her straighten up slightly. She's definitely a complete sub. "Mittelt, once you're done here, take the girls back to their rooms."

"Yes, sir," Mittelt says, enjoying being in power too much to care that she's under my control. She knows she is weak; I beat them easily, and she knows I've gotten stronger. She and Raynare are both interested in the method I used to increase my power, but neither have asked for different reasons.

Leaving the girls to it, I head back to my lab. I have work to do, the product I've left with Sirzechs is a good start, but it's not the perfected recipe. I can still improve it, and my A+ intelligence works very well.

– Next Morning –

I had my undead make a new addition to my lair, a tomb. Basically, it has a chance to save the corpse every time an invader dies. Even if it only saves one body per invasion, it's a way to slowly but steadily grow my horde with a variety of interesting corpses.

As it happened, we got attacked again while I slept. It went so damn well that I didn't even need to get out of bed, my traps and defences served me well this time, and my hyena pack hunted down the survivors. It was a lesser attack, but the fact that it was turned away without any issues is a good start.

The additional energy was a nice bonus to wake up to, but the true reward was this.

[The Tome of Souls]

A beginner tome on Necromancy, specialising in dealing with souls (though not exclusively). It's good reading, even if it has a habit of whispering to me as I read through it. I've already learnt a fun little spell from it while I was skimming it.

[Soulfire]

Enflame the very soul of the target, freezing their body with necrotic cold while also burning their soul and magic.

Freeze the body and burn the soul, a nasty combo. I do need to find a counter for Riser and just regenerators in general. I don't plan to fight him, but the fates have a dickish way of ruining my plans to stay out of things.

Plus, I do want Rias, so I have to accept that I might have to fight people for her. Meh, I'll cheat, so it'll be fine.

I also finally buffed my Constitution and Dexterity up to D. I'm getting energy faster now, so I can afford to blow through the lower ranks since it's cheap enough. I also put Wisdom to B- because Mana Regen is never going to be a bad thing, and Luck to C+.

I do like getting lucky.

Having some breakfast (along with a blowjob from Kalawarner), I set off for school. I much prefer my lair to my apartment, and Sona covered for me not having a home address; any mail I receive will be left in a PO Box at the post office for me to pick up, and people think I have moved to a new apartment. Sona knows I haven't, but it's in her best interest to stop people from looking at things too much.

"Kuro!" Rias says, spotting me wandering into school. She pauses for a moment, realising that I'm in better shape today. It's more noticeable than my mental boosts since it's a change to my very body.

"Morning," I mumble; I'm a little more awake after a morning blowjob, but I still hate being up this early. Once I've got Rias, I'll probably drop out of school because it's just kinda boring.

There are plenty of hot girls, so maybe I won't leave just yet. With A+ intelligence, I'm breezing through classes anyway, and it's funny to watch the teachers get annoyed at me, easily passing their classes despite me not paying attention.

"You look good, which is more than anyone expected from someone who did that to Grayfia," Rias says, making me snort. "Really, Kuro?"

"Would you believe that it was all part of a plan? You'll see my genius in time," I say simply, making her giggle.

"Fair enough, I'm sure I'll be wowed by your genius," Rias teases. "So, now that you aren't being a prat and ignoring me, not that I blame you for that, are we still on for you joining us for a practice game against Sona?"

"We are, I'm allowed to use my undead, right?" I ask, making Rias nod. She obviously cast a spell to stop people from listening to us so I can speak freely.

"Of course, it wouldn't be fair to stop you from using your full power," Rias agrees. "The match is this Saturday, don't worry, it's in the evening," Rias teases, making me grin. "You can sleep in."

"Which I will do, happily," I say shamelessly as we walk to class, our conversation moving to less important things. It's a Thursday today, so we're getting closer to the date. Rias doesn't mention recruitment as we walk, even if she does brush her body against mine several times.

The day passes by easily enough, once more leaving a horde of frustrated teachers behind as I sleep through several classes, only waking up to show them up by answering every question they try and shoot my way.

I've gotten some questions about joining a club, but I'm still settling in and might join the Occult Research Club, even if I don't want to join Rias's peerage. Some of the academic clubs and even the Kendo club have invited me to join, but I've turned them all down for now. I am not sure why the Kendo Club invited me; even with my minor buffs to constitution and dexterity, I am still below average physically.

Rias invites me back to the clubhouse, but I turn her down. I might be talking to her again, but I don't want to make things too easy for her. Wandering around, I decide that it's time to try and learn the town I'm living in a little more.

My ghosts are doing some scouting for me, but it's still a good idea to know my way around, and learning the shortcuts and stores is just smart.

Maybe it is fate or just weird luck that has me walk into a middle-aged woman with long brown hair. I was checking on my spirits, and she seemed just as distracted.

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry," she says as I help her up, giving her a calm grin.

"It's fine; I wasn't paying attention either," I reply, pausing as I wonder why she seems vaguely familiar.

"I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new to Kuoh?" she asks, making me nod.

"I only transferred recently; I was studying in Tokyo beforehand. Kuro Sasaki, a pleasure to meet you," I say, seeing no reason to not be polite.

"I hope you're enjoying your time here, I'm Miki. Miki Hyoudou," Miki says, and despite my best attempt, she notices my reaction to her last name. Ah, she's Issei's mother. Awkward. She gives me a sad smile, seeing my recognition. "Yes, I imagine you'd have heard, as a new student. Issei wa- is my son," Miki says, correcting herself. She's losing hope that he'll show up.

"I heard about him, even if we didn't have the pleasure of meeting. I'm sorry you're going through this; I can't imagine what it must feel like," I say, feeling a tinge of guilt despite the situation. I don't regret it, but Issei would have gone home that night, resurrected, if it wasn't for me.

"Thank you, but I don't think meeting Issei would have been a pleasure. I imagine he'd curse you and call you a pretty boy," Miki laughs, though it doesn't quite hide the sorrow.

"Yeah… he is definitely rather infamous in school," I admit, making her sigh.

"He wasn't that bad, he could just be a little intense when it came to certain things," Miki says, not noticing that she's using past tense to talk about him.

"...I learnt about him because the girls were celebrating his disappearance, something about constantly peeking at them," I point out, making her sigh and rub her forehead.

"Damn it, I hoped getting into Kuoh would get him to stop that. We tried to get him to stop but-" Miki starts before realising she's talking to a virtual stranger. "Well, he has his flaws, but he's still my son."

It's only now that I notice that she's carrying some flyers, ah she's putting up some missing person posters. As I said, the fates can be dicks at times because I happen to have him in my lair.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to insult him. Like I said, we never met," I say, but she just gives me a soft smile.

"It's fine, this old lady has taken enough of your time anyway. I'll see you around, Kuro," Miki says, giving me a smile as I nod.

"I'm sure you will, Miki," I agree, continuing on my way as I scratch my chin. Ugh, guilt. Guilt sucks.

Maybe I can use this? I have Issei's soul in a flask, I could separate it from Boosted Gear and… I don't know, get her to pay for me recalling his soul? Hell, it could be a lucrative industry, people die all the time, and their families would give a lot to see their loved ones one last time. I don't think Issei ever saw me, so he doesn't know who killed him.

Eh, I'll think about it. Hell, maybe I should become a devil because I'd be killing it in the contract business. I have so many services that I alone can offer, plus it'd give me an easier way to sell my potions. That said, the Devilnet has plenty of ways to sell goods, and I could easily set up a business for all their potion/necromantic needs, even without becoming a devil. That said, the taxes fucking suck for non-devils; I'll bully Sirzechs into giving me a better deal later.

Continuing my walk, I put the thoughts out of my mind and make a mental note. Killing is easy, but dealing with the victim's family is less so. God, I hate dealing with sad people; it bums me out, and I hate being bummed out.

Fuck it, I'm going back to my lair.

— Bonus Scene — Serafall Leviathan

Testing Kuro's creation took place almost immediately because if he was even close to being right about what his creation could do, he really had created a miracle.

Finding a pureblood devil couple that wanted kids but were having trouble reproducing was not difficult in the slightest; the biggest issue was picking one that could be trusted to keep their mouths shut.

They had the couple picked and ready within two hours of Kuro leaving Sirzechs' home, that was how seriously they were taking the testing. If he was lying, they wanted to expose it before he started selling his potions like some snake oil salesman, and if he was telling the truth…

They needed to get ready for things to change.

Reading the doctor's report, she sat back in her chair and let out a long sigh. They'd had two families try it so far, one pair, they had the mother drink the potion and the other, they had both.

The first woman was pregnant; this was confirmed beyond any doubt. They had developed spells for discovering pregnancies extremely early over the years of people trying to find a solution for their fertility crisis, after all.

But the other? She wasn't just pregnant; she was pregnant with quadruplets. There had been one set of triplets in their entire race's history, and the parents were ascended to nobility for the deed.

Now they had a set of quadruplets on the way, from the Bael family no less. They were chosen to curry favour with the powerful family, or more specifically Zekram himself.

Fucking quadruplets.

That was beyond ridiculous, it was practically impossible but Sirzerchs had a theory. Kuro wasn't just a death mage, he was a mage of life and death. Pregnancy and birth were very much a part of life, which might explain why he was so sure they couldn't recreate it without him.

Ajuka had taken that as a challenge, but much to his annoyance he got a grand total of fuck all from studying the potion beyond confirming that it had breast milk in it. The secrets to it were hidden from him, which was irritating for him.

She needed to talk to Kuro, and thankfully she had her opportunity.

What was it Kuro told Sirzechs to tell her again? Ah yes, to get her sexy magical girl booty over to him so she could be milked. Well, he better prepare himself because she wasn't the only one who was going to get milked.

Fuck this mess with Riser, she wanted Kuro in her Peerage. Rias could find her own miracle man and she wouldn't take no for an answer. He had Boosted Gear, a shard of Excalibur, gave them some negotiating power over Azazel and now this?

Mama wants her death mage.
