The Four Village Buildings.

After he consulted the Ice Queen, who had years of experience in managing the largest auction house throughout the Archaic continent, Longwei finally chose the four village buildings to be built by the System.

His first choice was a basic market, which he built at the northwest corner of the Lord's courtyard. The second choice was a simple fence which linked the four cardinal stones located on the edges of his territory. Right now the fence was weak and could only stop wild animals, but as the village was upgraded the fence would grow stronger along with it.

The third choice was a basic blacksmith shop, which was strongly suggested by the Ice Queen. With it, they would be able to build a variety of both farm tools and weapons, and since the Ice Queen had many blacksmiths under her command, they would be able to begin working immediately.

The final choice was a basic barrack. The Archaic continent would soon be under attack by the demons, so Longwei did not want to forget the most important thing of all, which was the creation of an army strong enough to fight against the invasion.

There were many other buildings that he wanted to have the Mystic Artifact build for him, such as farms, quarries, and a residential courtyard, but he was only able to select four buildings, and was forced to make selections that would benefit the village the most in the long run.

After making his selections, Longwei double checked the territory points. He gave a sigh of relief when he saw that they were unchanged. He had long since realized the importance of these territory points. They were more important than almost anything in the village because they were so closely tied to the future development of the village. Even if all the other requirements for the village upgrade were met, if he didn't have the required territory points then the village would not be able to upgrade.

From what he understood, villages were divided into levels such as copper, silver, and gold. Each level would be accompanied by an enormous profit for the village, all the buildings built by the system would be upgraded and strengthened, and the village territory would increase. In addition, Longwei could choose to upgrade a specific village building without waiting for the entire village to be upgraded if he had enough territory points. Finally, after reaching the gold level, the village would be upgradeable into a city. All of these changes used territory points, which is why they were so important to the development of the village.

These territory points could only be obtained in two ways. The first was by killing magical beasts that attacked the village, or anything else that was considered a threat to the village. In other words, he needed to keep the village safe from the invasion both to allow the people inside to live a peaceful life, and to earn these territory points. The second method was for the Lord to complete missions issued by the system.

Even the Emperor of the Qin Empire, who was a Saint ranked expert, acted cautiously in front of him. Also, she could see that Longwei seemed to value her a lot and valued her advice. All she could do is try her best to impress him and wait until he trusted her enough to tell her the truth.

"I was wondering, are you interested in joining my organization and working for me? I promise that I will treat you well and you will earn a lot of benefits. Longwei wanted to use one of the Awakening crystals on her, but he wanted to test her first, as well as have someone else take care of all the grunt work.

"I won't disappoint you, Young Lord, "said Qin Shi. She was thrilled that she was given so much work because she finally had the chance to prove herself to Longwei. As for the reward he promised, she could hardly wait for it. He gave away the Yang Empire to another person without even blinking. If that was the case, what kind of reward would he give the Ice Queen?

After assigning her tasks, Longwei had the Kougala demon beast land on the ground. Qin Shi began to instruct the humans about their current situation as well as what she needed people to do. Longwei went into the Lord's manor after instructing Qin Shi to send certain people to the courtyard. These were the same people he had asked Feng Li to find in the Yang Imperial Capital. While he waited, he would take the time to check his status windows. There were many other buildings he wanted to look over, such as the skills shop and weapons shop. All of these buildings and more were just waiting inside the Mystic artifact known as the Gamer's Godship.
