Rebirth

Late at night within a small decorated, a middle-aged man with long black hair was flipping through pages while he was reading a book. In front of him was a desk with a lamp on top of it flickering a bright light.

Even though he was flipping pages of the book, his mind was somewhere else. Deep down, he was in a state of turmoil and reading was a way to calm himself down, Nonetheless, his hand was shaking with every flip of the pages.

~Knock, Knock~

Suddenly, the sound of the door knocking can be heard.

"Enter." Said the middle-aged man while trying to stay calm and composed. He stopped flipping through the book because no matter how he tried to stay calm, he could not stop his hands from trembling.

Now, It's the moment he has been dreading and anticipating over the past nine months. Tonight could be the difference between the rise and the fall of everything he had worked so hard for.

~Creaaakkk~

The door swung open, a pretty looking female servant wearing a maid outfit ran inside excitedly.

" My Lord, it's a boy. The first lady just gave birth to a boy." Said the pretty young lady in the maid outfit enthusiastically.

Before the maid has come in, the man who wore a blue robe purposely released his frightening aura to maintain his dignity as a lord as he was afraid of the maid seeing him in that state. However, his eyes lit up abruptly as soon as he heard those words.

" Really, is true that my wife gave birth to a boy." Said the middle-aged man joyfully, obviously, he was waiting for this moment for a long time that he did not dare to believe that it was actually true. he was so happy that he even forgot his status as the city lord and hugged the maid.

" It is my Lord, I have seen him with my own eyes." The pretty female servant seemed to be very happy as well because the first lady has given birth to a boy. In the meantime, she snuggled in the middle-aged man's embrace with a cheerful expression. The middle-aged man seemed to be unaware of his inappropriate action due to his happiness.

" Good, good, haha.....hahahahaha, this is wonderful. Finally, I have a successor." he was so happy that he said good times while laughing like a madman.

" Pass on my words, tonight we will throw a banquet to celebrate this wonderful occasion." Said the middle-aged man happily.

" Yes my Lord, this servant will relay your message." said the female servant before she happily left the room in a hurry.

Without any delay, the man left the room as well walked towards the first lady's room.

As for the identity of the man, He was the current head of the Jin family as well as the city lord of the Red-Cloud City.

The Red-Cloud city was located in the northern part of the Archaic continent. The Archaic content was a vast flourishing land with countless of small and big cities as well as tribes ruled many powerful clans.

To the south is the magical beast forest where all the surrounding mountains are ruled by powerful magical beasts. This part of the continent was vast and boundless. since ancient time up until the present, no one has ever known how big the magical forest was or the end of it.

From all the big and small cities throughout the Archaic continent, one influence stood out as the most powerful of them all, and it was none other than the State of Shen which was the union or the Alliance made by the four great clans of the northeast.

As for the rest of the cities and villages, they were all independent and rules by a single family or clan. They also fight regularly amongst themselves as they try to swallow each other's territories.

At the northern edge of the Archaic content was a vast ocean with countless of small and big islands ruled each by a specific family or tribes.

The influences or powers within the Archaic continent were always at war because each of them wants to unite the land under one banner. Humans only occupy a small part of the content compare to the immense land of the magical beast forest, nonetheless, it was filled with resources and fertile.

Up until now, no one has ever united the whole Archaic continent. Each of the city or village is independent and ruled by an individual or family that has his own strong personal army to enforce his rule. There are also legends and claims about the existence of other continents besides the Archaic continent but there is no evidence to back it up as no one has ever left this place and come back.

'What's happened to me? Didn't my body got crushed into meat paste when my Ferrari collied aginst that big ass truck? I clearly have died, why I am still alive and breathing. Wait there is something different about my body, I can't move properly and feel very weak.' thought Alfred

Without any delay, he took a deep breath air, and try to scream for help because the air around him seemed to be very cold and he was freezing but rather an infant cry came out.

Alfred was surprised and amazed because he found out he was a baby. 'Don't tell me that I've been reincarnated'. he thought.

He immediately tried to raise his small hand which barely rose above his head. He watched his tiny fingers as he curled them around her mother's pinky.

" My son please don't cry, mommy is here." Said the young lady as she burst into tears of joy and happiness. She caressed the baby's hair while slowly covering his body with a blanket. the small baby had a small vacant expression on his face.

Even though they were speaking a language which was different from the one of his previous worlds, he clearly had an idea about what the young lady or his mother was saying.

" Ohh yeah, I've been reincarnated." Seeing this sight, Alfred was a hundred percent sure now.

After a while, a middle age man walked into the room and took the baby Alfred from her mother's hand. Before he took the baby from the lady's hand, he gently kissed her on the forehead and told her how happy he was now that they finally have a kid together and a boy a that.

From Alfred's perspective, the middle-aged man who was clearly his father looked like a giant as he was still a small baby. His father wore a simple blue robe with his black hair hand loose behind his back.

" you all may leave the room now." Said the middle-aged man to the surroundings maids.

" Yes my Lord." they bowed respectfully to the man and left the room.

After the maids had left, only the man and the young lady was in the room. The room was well decorated, everything inside of it was carved with marble which was quite beautiful and expansive. the room was not very big but not small either. There wasn't any electricity or TV at all inside.

' From the looks of this room, it seems like this world isn't as advanced as Earth in term of civilizations and technology. Also, I think that I have been reincarnated into some sort of rich and powerful family as well.' Alfred secretly thought with a deep sigh. Not even after death, he could escape from being raised with a golden spoon. Maybe thing will different in this world.

" My first son." His father kept on smiling while holding him in his hand.

While Alfred was looking at his father's deep black eyes that seemed unfathomable, he suddenly felt a mysterious energy entered his body as his father placed his hand on his abdomen. he could clearly feel that the mysterious energy was coming out from his father's right hand.

" Jin Shang, Don't you don't it's a bit too early to check the baby's constitution. Give me back my son." Said the young lady angrily as she grabbed the baby Alfred from his father's arms.

" Sorry honey, I was just too excited." Said Jin Shang with a playful smile on his face.

It was at this moment.

"Ding.............Scanning complete! Binding of the Gamer's Godship with the host body is successful."

" Ding........Gamer's Godship incomplete."

" Ding........the host body is extremely weak."

The sweet mechanical voice of a woman continuously rang into Alfred's mind as he felt a warm energy flowing through his every part of his body.

" What the heck was that." Alfred was dumbstruck and frightened at the same time when he heard the voice of the women in his head. It all started after his father infused some of his energy within him to test his constitution. Also, why did his sleepiness and tiredness were all gone? it was as though his tiny body has become a little bit stronger from a few minutes ago.

He was already reincarnated after he died which was like a huge good fortune, now a gaming system. ' Life couldn't get any better than if it was real.' he secretly thought.

'Stats.' he thought to himself as he blinked his eyes with a puzzled expression on his face. Evidently, he still didn't dare to believe that it was real, maybe he was daydreaming.

" Ohh shit, it is truly a gaming system>' Alfred could not believe how lucky he was. it seemed like he won't be bored in this new world. he was so happy that he started to laugh like a madman but a loud cry of a newborn baby filled the room instead.

' Damn, I forgot that I was still a baby.' he thought.

'By the way, what was that Gamer's Godship I saw in the stats." he thought with a puzzled look on his face.

" Raise the Gamer's Godship to level 1 and this information will be available to the host." suddenly the voice of the woman rang out again within his head.

" Who are you." Thought Alfred, he was scared shitless when he heard that woman voice rang out again as though she could read his mind.

" I am the spirit of the Gamer's Godship within you. Just think of me as an administrator or a counselor to guide you." Answered the woman within his mind.

He was lost in thought after hearing the woman's answer. Everything up until now seemed like a dream, his rebirth, the gaming system within him. Despite his fear and doubt about why all those things happened to him, Alfred clam himself down. For some reason when he tried to concentrate on that woman voice he was able to somehow see the inside which freaked him out.

Inside of his head was a huge space that contained a transparent cubic circuit board with blue circular lines all around following a different set of patterns. The transparent Cubic Circuit board was floating inside the small space within his head.

" what the fuck is that."
