The dying light of the setting sun began to fade away, a pitch black curtain enveloped the sky and brought nightfall with it. A canopy of dazzling stars appeared out of nowhere, accompanied by a radiant full moon that shone down majestically upon the Archaic continent.

Magical beast forest
"Big Brother, can I have some more?" Scarlett's childish voice rang out within my consciousness.
However, I didn't seem to pay attention to her as I was completely immersed into this beautiful starry night looming above. I sat there on a huge piece of tree trunk that was next to the lake, just gazing at the light that radiated from every star. It was a thousand times better than the software imitation I used to see back on Earth. Each one brighter than the others, they hung there in the sky as if they were strung in the air by an invisible thread. Looking at the moonlight spilling onto the boundless magical beast forest and the awning of stars shining from above cleansed every bit of negative feeling I had in my heart. The worries, fears, anxiety, and the sadness were all gone and simply forgotten. It's like my heart and my mind was at peace during this brief moment.
While I was indulged in these daydreams if I may call it, I couldn't help but felt the warmth coming out from the flames of the campfire that I lit in order to roast some wild beasts I killed earlier. The crisp and comforting beams of sparkles of light fill the space around me. Unfortunately, the thick smell of the smoke and the meat burning brought me back to reality.
I took a quick glance at the two little devils lying next to the campfire, I saw a questioning look appeared in their eyes.
" What." I bluntly said to them.
"Nothing, can we have some more meat big brother." This time, it was Sylvia's voice that rang out within my consciousness.
" This is going to be your second wild boars, how come you guys can eat all those meats with this tiny body yours." I uttered with a hint of disbelief in my voice. They ate one big wild boar by themselves. The funny thing is, their stomachs showed no signs of growth or deformities after eating all that meat. It's the same as before after wolfing down all those meats. As for why they were calling me big brother instead of mama, I just threatened them not to share my meat with them if they continued calling me mama. When they heard me saying that with such a serious and solemn tone, the word mama was gone and vanished faster than a toupee in a hurricane.
" Never mind, help yourself." While I was saying that, I lifted up the huge cook wild boar meat from the fire to put it down next to them. However, before I can even finish the sentence or my action, scarlet and Sylvia transformed into a ray of silver and red light that appeared floating next to the hand that was holding the wild boar meat and started devouring it. In less than a minutes, They ate the whole thing before I can even put it down, not even the bones were spared.
"...…."
I was speechless when I saw what those two little devilish dragons did to the wild boar meat. Well, they are dragons after all.

Suddenly, The voice of the Gamer's Godship spirit rang out within my mind.
"Yiya."
"yiya."
Scarlet and Sylvia let out an excited shout, they moved their four tiny limbs while flapping their wings trying to fly up in the sky, within a breath time, they were hovering on top of my head and flying around in joy. It seems like they also felt that their power has risen a little bit. After a while they landed on my shoulders and rubbed their head around my cheek happily, displaying an incredibly satisfied posture.
" swoosh."
After a while, they flew up in the air while their mouths let out a low roaring sound. It seemed like they are trying their new found power.
" Roar."
"Roar."
Sylvia spurted put a stream of silver light which landed on the nearby small plants. As for Scarlet, a little stream of black fire which seems more like a black smoke came out from its mouth and landed on a small piece of tree trunk. Where the stream of silver light spurted by Sylvia landed, a layer of ice started spreading out on the grassland forming a small circle before it stopped. On the other hand, the piece of the tree trunk where the stream of black fire landed seems to be fine like nothing happened. Scarlet let out a sad sound while landed on my shoulder again.
" It's ok scarlet, you are still a baby and your power haven't fully awakened yet. Just give it some time." I Said while caressing her head gently with my finger to comfort her. With a yiya sound, she reverted back to her joyful and mischievous self.
Unknown to us, a few hours later, the fresh piece of tree trunk started to rot, and a thin layer of dark smoke seemed to dissipate into the air. Two days later, the fresh piece of tree trunk vanished from the magical beast forest like it never existed. Of course, this would be never known by Scarlet as it was gone by that time.
" Well, I am still hungry, and you guys ate all the wild boar's meat. Only this small rabbit left, don't even think about asking me for some it." I said to them with a non-negotiable tone.
I spent more than two hours before I can kill this small rabbit. It was as fast as a bolt lightning and running after it was no joke. I should have learned archery when I had the chance, that way I could have just lay low under the bushes and wait till it presents itself and shot him instead of chasing it like an idiot.
" Host has acquired a gourmet skill."
" Gourmet skill level 1."
While I roasting the small rabbit, the voice of the Gamer's Godship rang out within my mind. Even though a gourmet skill or a cooking skill wasn't helpful in combat, it would still be very useful for me as I was stuck in this damn magical beast forest. I tried to use the minimap to look for the closest human cities or villages, however, for some reason, it only shows me five miles radius of the forest not all of it.
When I asked the gamer's Godship Spirit about it, it just said that my level, as well as magic power, isn't enough to view the whole map of the magical beast forest. I know that It would have been better and safer for me to go back to human villages or cities. Unfortunately, I can't, then I can only move forward and find a way to survive by strengthening myself. Besides, I have the best cheat system ever, it would have been a waste if I don't make full use of it and leave my mark in this barbaric world.

The next morning, the yellow shining sun was already well risen as its scattering ray of lights shines upon the boundless magical beast forest. However, I was already up and walking deeper into the magical beast when the sun was setting. With my minimap, I avoided most of the magical beasts and was traveling safely within the forest while breathing the fresh morning air that felt like it was refrigerated.
A week has gone by since we left our initial positions which were the lake next to the mountain peak. Seeing is believing, the magical beast forest was truly vast and boundless. Within it, I could see tall trees almost five times the length of those back on Earth. There were all sorts of various grasses and plant that filled the land, some of them were edible while some were poisonous. Dry leaves and dead fallen trees can be seen everywhere. There were some trees and ancient vines that I've never seen back when I was still on Earth.
After spending more than three weeks in the forest, I've grown a little bit stronger compared to when I left including the two little dragons as well. Even the air around me or my aura have changed a bit. My level has risen from 21 to 26. Fortunately, I haven't encountered any mid-level or high-level magical beast during my journey. The minimap only shows the nearby beast within a five miles radius but not their level of power. There are many things that I have learned the hard way during this journey such as not to constantly make noise within the forest because it will attack the attention of the nearby beast. Also, if I am injured after a battle, I must immediately do my best to cover it up in order to prevent any loss of blood as the stench of it will attract the nearby beasts as well. It turns out that magical beasts have very sensitive senses.
Aside from this, I've also learned some pretty interesting information about my Gamer's Godship. For example, I don't get any experience point or my level doesn't go up when I killed a beast, I have to absorb the beast core in order to level up. However, the good news is after I break through the 4th rank warrior/mage, the gamer's Godship will go up to level 3 and it will unlock a " Game on " feature which will allow me to cast an invisible game field around me. The invisible game field scope will increase as my power increases. I will be able to instantly absorb the power or the energy of any beast or creatures killed within that field instead of absorbing their beast cores to level up. Not only that, I will be able to see their HP going down as well while fighting them. As the gamer's Godship level increases, it will have a greater impact on the reality.
" yiya, yiya, yiya." While I Walking within the massive crowns of countless trees that were so tall that they almost covered the entire sky, Sylvia was shouting excitedly on my shoulder trying to tell me something.
" what made you so excited that you even forgot how to talk me telepathically," I Said with a questioning look on my face. Sylvia was always the calm and smart one, but now it turned into the mischievous scarlet.
" Big Brother, I sense a Profound Energy Tree nearby. Let's hurry because it might already bear some Profound Energy fruits." Said Sylvia happily with her small sparkling jade eyes.
" What is a Profound Energy Tree and how the hell do you know all this," I Said with a hint of curiosity in my voice, not mention the look of anticipation on my face. That little dragon was born not too long ago and she already knows more stuff than me.
" I don't know, I've learned many things as soon as I broke out from my eggshell, it should be some inheritance passed down by my ancestors because of the purity of blood when I was born. I know a lot of things and most them are inside my head."
" As for the profound Energy Tree, I only have some vague information about how it comes to be. It is extremely rare to encounter a profound tree as it needs a large amount of energy in order for it to takes roots. It bears a strange fruit called profound energy fruit. It is very useful for both warrior and mage. For the mage, not only it will increase their mana, it will also strengthen their body as well. It will do the same thing for those who cultivate battle qi as it will also increase their battle qi, enhance their physical strength including strengthening their bones, muscles, flesh and internal organs." Said Sylvia with an excited voice.
" What are you waiting for then, show me the way." As soon I heard Sylvia's explanation, I become more excited than she was. It's the first time that I've heard about Profound energy tree, not even my father knew about those things yet this small dragon already keep about it. Also, if I did remember correctly, sensing treasures, rare ores and all kind of precious object was one of Sylvia's innate skill. No wonder only her can sense it while scarlet was dozing off on my other shoulder. I can't wait to see what she's going to discover next.
Without wasting any time, I followed Sylvia's instructions while moving toward the profound energy tree's location.
I carefully surveyed my surroundings while walking toward the profound energy tree. A tree like that must have a powerful beast guarding it. Even though I only encountered low-level magical beasts around the area, you never know when a bored mid-level or a high-level magical beast decided to take a stroll in the area. Following Sylvia's instructions, I traveled deeper and deeper into the forests with scarlet on my shoulder perking up and staring in all four directions.
Roughly fifteen minutes later, I slowly arrived at the back of huge mountain peak.
" swoosh."
" swoosh."
As soon as we arrived at the back the mountain, Sylvia grew more excited and was shouted happily. She was the first to fly up and rush toward the giant tree a few meters away from us following by scarlet.
I quickly followed them as well. As I was approaching the tree, a light scent drifted toward me. The fragrant scent became stronger as I got closer to the tree. A few second later, I arrived in front of this giant tree so big that it needs at least ten people to fully hug it. The branches of the tree were stretched in all direction and some of its roots were crawling out from the ground as well. Between the dense leaves of the giant tree were little red fruits that seems like apples but a little bigger. I was surprised and in a daze for a moment when I saw the giant tree. However, this feeling was quickly replaced by a feeling of joy and disbelief.
" So this the profound energy tree?!" I whispered to myself.
While I was contemplating about that big tree in front of me, the two little dragons were already up on the trees trying to pluck some fruits out of it.
I arrived under the giant tree and climbed it up. I plucked as much as fruits as I possibly can and stored them in my inventory. After a few minutes, I got down and sat next to the Tree. I took out a profound energy fruit then brought it to my mouth and bit into it. With a 'gulu' sound I swallowed the fruit.
Suddenly, I felt a warm energy flowed into my veins to my qi sea as soon as I swallowed the fruit. I quickly took out dozens of them and started eating them. At the same time, I gave a few to the two little dragons.
As I was eating the profound energy fruit, I continued to feel a surge of power and energy rolling and crashing into my qi sea. The gamer's Godship was shining brighter than ever as it continued to absorb parts of the energy. I can also feel a trace of energy coming out from the fruit nourishing my internal organs, muscles, and my bones making them firmer and stronger.

After eating more than a dozen of fruits in one go, the voice of the gamer's Godship kept on sounding within my consciousness. After a while, the fruits started to lose their efficiency or the amount of energy needed for me to level up has redouble again. Nonetheless, I can feel an increase in my defense and the toughness of my skins, it felt as hard as steel as if a common sword would find it hard to penetrate through my skin. I felt as energetic as a dragon and fierce as a tiger after wolfing down all those fruits.

While I was feeling the changes and this new increase of strength within my body, the voice of the woman rang out within my consciousness as the two little dragons were growing stronger. They both had become peak 1st rank magical beast just a step away from becoming 2nd rank while I've finally broken through the mid-level warrior/mage.
"Roar."
Just when I was celebrating this big harvest, I heard an angry loud roar coming from afar and was approaching us at a high speed.
" Damn, it seems my guess was right. There was really a beast guarding this tree. we must have intruded his territory while it stepped out." As soon as I heard that roar, I knew that I was in big trouble.
