8.The Wuxia World

After dinner Alaric was carried out of there in his mother's arms, he was only 9 months old after all.

People usually start cultivating at the age of 14 in this world and those with a special physique start around 12 years old. People in this world follow a social hierarchy where an Emperor stands at the top of the pyramid, Court officials and Generals stand below the Emperor followed by Daimyo who look after a single country under the Empire, below Daimyo stand Samurais who look after a region in a country and work under the Daimyos. Below Samurais stand the majority of people in the world like Commoners followed by the Slaves.

Alaric being the first son and the heir of the Daimyo who manages an entire country can be said to have a high social standing. And can basically live his life in luxury if he is careful enough. But selecting an heir is an important matter and many times if the cultivation is not up to the standard the said heir can be removed from his position and replaced with an alternative, if any. There are many stories where a slave climbs up the ladder to become an emperor all because of his cultivation. Strength reigns supreme in the world of martial arts, and with a little luck even a slave can be an emperor if he has might.

Alaric is now pretending to sleep beside his mother and running plans inside of his head on how to profit from this world and gain strength for his main body. After all the entire suffering of re-birthing as a baby is to gain strength to get out of the dimension and pursue Tier-0 level. Alaric was goal oriented from the start and only moves for profit, he was no longer a human who held moral codes and values, he was a Primordial Cosmic Celestial, a Progenitor of an entire race, he 'will' pursue supreme power and break his Tier-2 limiter no matter what, if he failed let him fail but he will try nonetheless, that was the standard he set for himself.

Alaric fell asleep thinking of this, his baby body needs all the help to grow stronger and start his cultivation journey, but what he doesn't know was that his luck was changing and taking a new shape deciding his fate for him.

Alaric woke up after 9 hours of sleep and felt refreshed, a maid helped him to tend his needs. Even though he cannot speak fluently yet he can very well convey what he needs, the slaves in the house called him a genius and naturally his father and mother felt proud. Alaric's family had very few members, three to be exact, his father, mother and grand father. Even though his father was a Daimyo can could have many concubines he did not marry a second time as he loved his wife very much, well considering the struggle he went through to marry her it was a given.

After washing his face Alaric's mother took him to the garden where they spend their daily routine of bonding, it mostly considered of his mother playing with him and teaching new things when an opportunity arrives. Alaric was very obedient towards her as he saw what would happen if he acted like a spoiled brat. Though Cao Meixiu adores and dotes on him she is strict with discipline and etiquette.

After the bonding, Cao Meixiu leaves him to the maids as she has work to do, she is the wife of Daimyo after all and knew her responsibilities very well. And the maids would do whatever Alaric orders, his favourite person outside his family was Shi Ya. She was a maid assigned to him and was his secret bodyguard who protects him. Shi Ya was kind and a little clumsy with her work and appeared to be around 16 years of age, she had dark hair which was tied in a bun most of the time, she was a beauty just below the country level with blue eyes and clear jade like skin, no one would believe that she is a slave working for the Daimyo.

Alaric liked her clumsiness and knew she was his secret bodyguard as the talking took place in front of him when he was 7 months old.

'Nano scan Shi Ya and give me her stats' Alaric suddenly had an idea and wanted to see her cultivation level.

'Makes sense I guess, then let's check her with the All Seeing Eyes' Alaric used the All Seeing Eyes on Shi Ya.

Shi Ya's luck was green in colour in the shape of a shield and her cultivation art was shown as a crane hugging a spear with its neck , Alaric could more or less guess the meaning behind those images.

'Green and a shield should be her responsibility towards being my shield, shielding me from any danger, and the crane and spear should indicate her martial art/cultivation art to be a spear one with the impression of a crane'

Alaric was spot on with his intuition and while pondering Shi Ya saw him looking at her with big sparkling starry eyes and had a feeling that all her secrets being revealed. She asked respectfully with a soft smile.

"Do you need something young master?"

"Umu, bwing me to da kwitchen to get a snacky and then lets gwo to da libwawy" Alaric said cutely nodding while Shi Ya was controlling herself to not pinch his cheeks because of how cute her young master was acting. She was used to it now as it was daily occurrence and she built some resistance to it.

Shi Ya quickly followed her young master's order and after going to the kitchen they arrived at the library where books about the history of the world and basic knowledge about cultivation were kept.

Alaric was going to scan all the books here as now nano was with him.
