19 Chapter 19

[A/N: This may be the only chapter for next week, I am getting my Wisdom Teeth removed on Monday, let's just hope all goes well, and that's if I don't get another chapter out today or tomorrow]

[A few minutes after NetRedBane's Stream began]

Sitting within a large office of some kind, a black man with an eye patch over his left eye.

Suddenly an Asian man entered the office with an exhausted expression and heavy breathing.

"What?" The Man with an Eye patch asked with a commanding tone.

"Director Fury, another stream on the game has shown up!" The man in a suit quickly replied.

"Again?! Quickly shut it down! We cannot have any more people discovering the anomaly!" Director Fury commanded the Agent who quickly retreated out of his office.

Sitting in the corner of the room in a chair was another man in a suit who seemed to always have a smile on his face.

"What was he talking about, Director?" The Man asked.

"Sigh...A few months ago a Game was suddenly released on the game site, Steam." Director Fury began informing.

"Sorry for interrupting...but did you just say...a Game?" The Man asked.

"That's right Coulson, but don't underestimate this game...you know what, why not just show you why this game is so worrying?" Director Fury told Agent Coulson, who he is apparently trusting of.

Gesturing for Agent Coulson to come behind his desk, Director Fury opened up videos, pictures, forum posts, and more.

One of the images showed the view of a player looking down from a sky scrapper to an entire abandoned city covered in grass and green from time with some kind of red fog completely surrounding the city in a dome shape leaving the only chance of escape the city from the sky above.

Then Agent Coulson looked over to one of the videos that showed some scientists surrounding a strange apple covered in blinding golden light.

"Sir...what is all of this?" Agent Coulson asked Director Fury.

"We have no idea, it could be the work of aliens based on the Game Creator's Username, 'The Extraterrestrial Creator', but what we do know is that upon launching the game on any electronic device the person who pushed the button would be transported to the world shown in the game where the players compete against each other and whoever is the last team or person standing will get a random reward," Director Fury explained.

"That Golden Apple?" Agent Coulson asked.

"That's just one of the rewards, there are other rewards possible to obtain and they are much more frequently obtained than the Golden Apple, and after some research, we found that the Golden Apple has the lowest percentage of obtaining as a win reward," Director Fury told the agent as he gestured to some graphs.

[A/N: Okay, some explanations for the Game Rewards since people seem confused on it, originally the potions had a 30% chance of getting chosen while the Golden Apple had a 1% chance of being chosen, I then went back and changed the potions chances to 33%, which adds up to 99% chance leaving the remaining 1% chance for the Golden Apple, but with the addition of both the talisman and the skill book the chances have been changed to Golden Apple[2%], Protection Talisman[4%], Melee Weapon Mastery Skill Book, Minor Tier[4%], and the potions[30%] which totals up to 100%, loot table issue has been fixed]

"But sir, if such a thing is available to the public, why don't you shut it down?" Agent Coulson asked the Director.

"Do you think we haven't tried that? We have tried everything! We have contacted the CEO of Steam and he couldn't even remove it himself, we have tried hacking the site ourselves to remove the game and even that didn't work, we've tried banning the user, and even blocking his profile, but nothing we did would work, the only thing that apparently did work was crashing the site, but the game would still run anyway as long as you had a direct link to the game or had the game downloaded..." Fury complained.

"How is that even possible? S.H.I.E.I.D has some of the brightest minds on the planet!" Coulson replied, stunned.

"The only thing that we could do was block the news of the game from spreading, we crash any stream showing the game, we block any and all ads of the game, and we block all posts related to the games and the creator on social media from appearing," Fury informed Coulson.

"I'm sorry, did you say Games?" Coulson asked in disbelief that there could be more than just one of these games.

"That's right, the creator has already released another Game that offers the winners rewards, this particular game may be to your liking, Coulson," Fury informed the Agent before him.

"What is it, sir?" Coulson asked in confusion.

"A racing game..." Fury replied.
