Chapter 23

CHAPTER TWENTY – THREE

Mark had left early in the morning to tend to some business matter, leaving Alice enough time to think through.

She had thought through the night and the early hours of the morning, the only way to keep them safe and her identity was either to reveal it herself or stop the intervention of Mark or to kill them because by now, her identity must have been revealed.

She couldn’t kill them.

She knew that, she wasn’t an assassinator.

This was the only way she thought.

She was going to reveal her identity.

Gathering herself she went outside her room calling on Jake telling him she had an important announcement to make.

Jake was shocked at the call, “Is she pregnant?” “Or has Mark finally man up and proposed to her?”

He thought back to his recent nightmarish, and thought of talking out with someone, Lea? He didn’t know how she will react.

He made up his mind to visit Mark and hear about it first before he takes any action.
