I let the device(p*k*b*ll cause too much censorship) fall on the head of the intruder, then what followed really doubt if the supervisor of this world is doing their job properly.

The device hit the head without a sound. I think there was a *click* sound?

Then, defying the laws of physics, it bounced instead of rolling to the ground immediately.

Pausing in the air, it opened and showed its empty and hallow contents.

A red beam came out of nowhere (it was empty!), and zapped the intruder in front of me.

Like how a p*k*b*ll catches a p*k*m*n, the body was dragged towards the device.

It even beeped for the dramatic effect. Thrice. And a last beep to indicate success.

Then it faded into particles like from a certain virtual death game when the items expire.

As if the device had already done its job.

Ignoring such scene that will most likely give the author a copyright if this is a story being sold, I turn my attention to the sibling watching me from their position.

Maybe because the transformation was only on its early stages, Nezuko still shows humane expression. Yup, Nezuko. I am currently living in the Demon Slayer world, which is pretty convincing with how demons popped out like p*k*m*ns out of grasses.

But the question is... how come I never met Tanjiro or some lost lumberjack when I was lost within the forest... well I am still inside the forest, but you know the point.

Looking at Nezuko gave me an immediate answer to my question.

Demons. The presence of demons deters any normal human to wander deep within the forest. Any strong demon slayer would only be found within areas of importance or areas with sightings of a strong demon.

So naturally, I would really encounter demons only since I am located within an area that no human would really want to go.

But, something is bothering me... why is Tanjiro looking at me fearfully?

After I shifted my attention towards the two from the disappearing device, Tanjiro had this revelation and is now looking at me like I was scarier than the demon Nezuko.

Nezuko is now focusing on the body left on the ground.

I thought that... well... nah, nevermind.

So let's start with-

"Hey, you there! Where is this place? Where can I find the nearest settlement?"

Nezuko, which is confusingly just staring at the body and not doing really anything at all, is understandable because she Nezuko, but Tanjiro not reacting to me is kind of confusing given his polite image from the anime. He's now tugging Nezuko to distance away from me despite her trying to eat him just a while ago.

I walked towards the clearing and took moved away from the two since Tanjiro is clearly afraid at me for reasons I don't know, but my question of the location of the nearest settlement is really genuine. I must eat!

The sudden desire must have been felt (smelled?) by Tanjiro as he is now desperately moving away from me, but his fear is paralyzing him, impending his actions.

So I raised my hand as a sign of non-hostility.

"Look, I'm lost that's why I'm asking for the nearest settlement. I won't be bothering you anymore if you give me a direction if you point me one."

Tanjiro must have sensed my sincere feelings(?) as he trembly pointed a direction.

I narrowed my eyes in consideration.

"If you pointed me to the wrong direction, I'm warning you, I remember your scent!"

Then he pointed at the opposite direction immediately.

Yup, it's confirmed, He thinks that I am a demon. What a misunderstanding.

I don't know what other misconception he has, but I don't care as I'll be having now my first meal in a while. So I went to the direction Tanjiro was pointing to and merrily went my way.

Hmm...? Have I forgotten something?...!

As I walk, I quickly checked the Quests as I found out that there is no more entry found within the section. But, I never received any rewards... or given notice that the rewards was already given.

So the rewards was actually already given from the start?

How many years left do I have before I have to leave this world?

As I was going through my trivial thoughts, I coincidentally found a cloud passing that looks like 9.

Then I put my hands together as I pray... Namu Amibatha...? Amithaba? Amitaba?

Then, regathered myself and checked if I was still walking to the same direction.
