The Galge System

I dunno, comment a synopsis for me? But I don't claim ownership on any of the materials included in the story, excluding the originals mentioned within. If an original somehow resembles your idea, I am now stating that this is all a coincidence and we can have a discussion on the matter.

POV switch: An otaku's dream

It all started with a traffic accident.

Dying from a truck seems to be common nowadays. Or it's natural to think that dying naturally relates to having a naturally moving truck going to naturally running over your body, thus naturally killing you. Whether someone was saved in the process is different for every case.

I mean, why do people have to have a reason for a truck to kill you?

truck + moving + person = dead person. (Note: not really)

What happened next was business as usual.

I met ROB. ROB explained what happened. ROB offered me 3 wishes. I made my wishes.

Typical right?

I don't know since I already died, but Demon Slayer was the craze that it gave me a lasting impression, which may fade and possibly change my decision later on. That's why I chose to be reincarnated in the Demon Slayer world as my first wish. Also, the anime is very cool.

I don't know about the strongest cheat with the least drawback attached to it, I mean, immortality make people lonely, time travel gives paranoia, being a god has responsibilities that comes with the package. Whenever I taught of a possibly overpowered cheat, I somehow immediately come up with a most likely negative counterpart to that cheat. Huh? Remove the drawback? That just mean's not really wishing for the cheat you know? I asked ROB if its possible to remove the loneliness in becoming an immortal, and ROB told me to remove my emotions as my third wish.

Yup. there you go. two wishes for a cheat, not worth.

I asked then if its possible to remove loneliness only as the third wish, but ROB then told me that emotions are interconnected just as happiness is possible only when people experienced sadness, people like because there are things they hate, loneliness happens when a person already felt what it means to be a part of a group.

Being happy, as ROB told me, is not just being happy. Because there are times we are happy because we are experiencing things we like or we feel belong to a group.

Not being sad only because you are lonely does not make sense at all, ROB explained, because people are sad not because you are lonely, but you are sad because you are not used to be alone.

Making sure that you cannot be lonely is the same as being used to be alone at all times. Means not being able to get along with other people so that you cannot experience belonging which will enable you to experience loneliness.

Complicated right? ROB told me that just as relationship can be simple as you meeting with other people and getting along with them after a few conversation, or as complicated as disliking and liking a person at the same time without any reason at all. With emotions as the root of relationships, emotions can be simple and complicated anytime.

Immortality does not really cause loneliness immediately, but experiencing immortal life will highlight loneliness as that emotion will be felt most of the time, with variety of them occurring in between periods when loneliness is buried with other emotions.

So I settled down for the stable cheat every senior preferred as an otherworlder, the system cheat, the representative of gaming-in-real-life and disciple of equivalent exchange.

Convenient, simple, flexible.

It was then ROB gave me a surprising information, as many individuals like me asked for a system cheat, ROB now a has a designed system which is used as the template for those who wished for a system. So I settled down for the template design as from what ROB told me, additional functions can be acquired later on, or acquired with one wish slot. Anyway, basic functions can cover what I am expecting for what a system can do: Identification, Inventory, Manual character growth(stat points + skill points), Mapping, Shop, and finally Quests.

I asked why is there no job function to the system, then ROB told me that not all worlds supports the job system, and as the Demon Slayer world also does not support job system, my system won't be having the job function.

As a bonus, since I used the template system as my second wish, ROB gave me the chance to decide and tweak my starting attributes, just like how character design at a game start works.

This is how I ended up with:

[Yogi Mistral]

[Stats]

[Strength: 10] (Maximum force a person can apply on one action: 10 is average)

[Endurance: 15] (Time on how long a person can stay on peak state: 15 is casually trained)

[Reaction: 20] (How fast a person can react to stimuli: 20 is professionally trained)

[Intelligence: 15] (Memory and comprehension: 15 is well-read)

[Affinity: 10] (How much the body can adjust to external forces: 10 is average)

[Skills]

[Thunder breathing(Zenitsu's version): III] (Proficiency in the field: III-IV is intermediate)

(Note: Zenitsu's version of the skill disables other forms but immensely improves the first form)

(Compensation note: First form[Thunderclap and Flash] is treated as one level higher)

Skill scaling is different for every breathing but this is for Thunder breathing(general)

I-II(beginner): Foundation->how to breathe

III-IV(intermediate): First Form-> Thunderclap and Flash

V(advanced): Second Form -> Rice Spirit

VI(advanced): Third Form -> Thunder Swarm

VII(expert): Fourth Form -> Distant Thunder

VIII(expert): Fifth Form -> Heat Lightning

IX(master): Sixth Form -> Rumble and Flash

X(master): Enlightenment
