Zoro's past and the Yin-yang cuffs...

After Zoro and Nezu had taken care of their... urges... they began to try to think logically about their situation at hand. They both knew what time they were in and at least one of them knew the locals in the area, but Nezu was getting next to no info on what happened when Zoro was sixteen except that he was a trouble maker. As Nezu and Zoro walked side by side down a well-worn dirt road, she could not help but let her mind wander as she has been so focused till this point.

        Nezu let out a heavy sigh as she thought to herself, [whatever happened to Zoro during this time must have been hard for him to deal with if he doesn't want to say much on it... I wonder what could have happened?]

        Suddenly a man wearing a monk's robe and carrying a weird looking staff jumped from behind a bush and onto the road, blocking Nezu and Zoro's path. He had a shaved head, wild bushy eyebrow and was swinging his staff at Nezu shouting for the "demon" to begone. Nezu easily dodged and evaded every attack from the lunatic and curiously wondered who this strange man was. He could be what humans call a priest or exorcist… well at least that was the conclusion that Nezu came up with.

                                    "Umm, pardon me, sir," Nezu spoke up as the lunatic kept swinging at her, and she leapt backwards dodging, "but might I ask you to please stop attacking me or my mate will be most dangerously upset with you and you might not have your head at the end of this whole ordeal."

        The crazed man reached in the pocket of his robe and threw a handful of what appeared to be purifying salt, dried herbs, and sandalwood ashes at Nezu which made her cough and sneeze profusely, "Begone foul beast and return to the bowels of hell where ye came from!!!"

        This in turn ticked Zoro off as he lands a solid punch to the man's face and sends him flying a good five feet away, "I'll just say this one time... leave my mate alone or I will kill you, ya' bald ass bastard!"

The crazy man laid motionless on the ground for a good three minutes before he began to show signs that he still was alive. Nezu let out a heavy sigh, then turned towards Zoro with a scowl on her face, "Why did you hit him so hard?! This could have been resolved without any use of violence, I'm sure of it!"

Zoro scoffed, he then proceeded to yell back, "What would you have me do?! You were already warning him to leave you alone, so I call that fair play and as far as punches go, I didn't hit him that hard if he's still alive."

           Nezu lets out a frustrated huff as she rushes over to the old man's side. She quickly checked his pulse to find it beating a steady rhythm, then as she tried to check the man for any other injuries, the man bolted up into a sitting position.

 He stared wide eyed at Nezu and before he could move or even speak she tried once more to talk some sense into him, "Listen, I am a Draconian, not a demon, and if you don't want my chosen mate to kill you… please refrain from calling me demon or trying to harm me, he won't be as gentle next time."

            The old man eyed the two with a critical look before he said, "Young man, you do understand you have sold your soul to a demon and can never be redeemed for that."

       Nezu lets out a heavy sigh before she immediately slaps the geezer hard across the face, "Humans can be so frustrating at times. You're lucky I'm with egg otherwise I would have teleported you to the middle of the ocean floor… you old bastard!"

           Zoro quickly covered his mouth to muffle the laughter that was bubbling up inside him, yet what both of them failed to realize was that at that moment the old man slapped on weird looking metal cuffs like bracers on Nezu's slim wrists.

 The old man let out a loud barking laugh as he then said, "HA! Try getting away now ya' filthy demon! AH HAHAHA!"

Suddenly someone who had long soft cherry pink hair and what looked to be large white feathered wings on her back, basically hit the old man on the head while scolding him, "You idiot! This is not the demon we seek! What were you thinking?!"

           Zoro quickly grabbed Nezu and rushed her away from the two strangers, [What the heck?! I don't remember this old man in my past or that weird winged lady. I better get Nezu away from those creeps while I still can.]

           As Zoro and Nezu made their way far away from the two weirdos, Nezu's thoughts were spiraling out of control,[Was that woman what I think she was? She looked as if She was of the angelis race but those are just myths! What is an Angelis doing in Zoro's past?!]

[meanwhile: back in the present day at whiskey peaks]

Valora had just beaten the tubed haired guy named number eight, most of the baroque works agents, and even after all that the man with the exploding powers and the woman that carried an umbrella with her just stood there staring at Valora as if she was a threat that needed to be taken down. Valora starred down the two new threats as she let a snarl loose from her throat and she flashed her long fangs in anger.

                "Well would you look at that Miss Valentine, a talking lizard wants to fight us." said the bomb man.

                "It would appear so Mr. Five and it seems she's going to be a feisty one with those fire powers of her, hahaha." said the lady called Miss Valentine.

Suddenly an orb of water flew past Valora and hit Miss Valentine straight in the face. Valora looked behind her to see where the orb of water came from only to see it was the fishwoman who had thrown the orb and was standing on land next to Valora.

[The fishwoman is helping?! Why though?] thought Valora to herself as a milion thought ran through her head.
