1 Safe Haven

It is so painful. I was humiliated in front of everyone and all I am thinking is to find my safe haven. Running as fast as I can through the forest; I spot my marker to know I am on the right track. A gem-blue stream that flows its merry way through the forest. Pebbles in the water whisk about cause it to seem like the river is glittering. I pluck a few berries from a nearby bush and they were lush and fruity to the tongue. To the west, the serrated mountains loomed in the distance as I made my way towards it. The top of the mountain was were flour-white and brooded over the land. As I reach the foot of the mountain, I saw it, my safe haven. The waterfall was Atlantis-blue and magical. I was swishing over rocks before it comes thundering down into the pool below. I undress immediately and headed to the water. I stood under the waterfall to cool down and it was so cold that it gives me goosebumps but that is how I like it.

I heard the snapping of some branches and the rustle of the dushes. I immediately turned my head to the sound and that when I saw it. A large wolf with fur as white as snow and eyes that were the color of aquamarine blue with streaks of gold in them. I was mesmerized by his beauty. It walks behind a tree and I heard the snapping and popping of bone. It returns from behind the tree and there stands a man. His hair was dark brown, which was thick and lustrous and messy on his head. His best feature was his entrancing, aquamarine blue eyes which resemble two liquid blue pools of flashing fire. His eyebrows were thin and narrow and he carried an imperious nose well and his angular cheekbones cared down towards a flinty jaw. I sucked in a sharp breath as I watch his shirtless torso. Gawking is an understatement of what you could describe as my state. I was stunned, wonderstruck, mesmerized by his physique. His shoulders were like of a Spartan warrior which spoke of strength. He had a chiseled chest and his abs were sculpted to perfection. His arms, oh just wow, look at those biceps. It was huge but yet lean. His body was drool-worthy.

Amelia

"Amelia" he called out to me and I was brought out of my haze state and realization struck me. It was Nathaniel, the Alpha King son and I am in the water naked. I call him "Nat" which is short for Nathaniel. "Nat what are you doing here" "I just came to see if you were ok." I saw what Cassie did to you in school and you run off into the wood." "I run after you but because you had a five-minute head start of me I had to lost sight of you in the woods." "I didn't know where I was going so I track you and it took longer but I finally found you." I am shocked that he came after me to see if I was ok. "Can you come out of the water Amelia, it is cold and I don't want you to get sick." "But Nat I like the water this way." "Please Amelia come out of the water." I can see the worry in his eyes so I am going to agree to make his mind at ease. "Ok I would come out of the water but you have to turn around so I can get dress." "Are you naked?" "Yes Nat I am so would you please turn around." His face flushes bright red and he turns away from me immediately so I can get dress. I got dressed immediately. "It is ok for you to turn around now Nat."

Nathaniel

Amelia must have studied late last night because she was five minutes late this morning and she is never late. We were having class outside today at the back of the school and I saw what Cassie did to Amelia. She embarrassed her in front of everyone. She had no right to slap her in front of everyone and Amelia Dairy that had fallen to the floor and read it to everyone aloud. I saw Amelia crying as she runs off towards the woods. I was so in so enraged that I slam Cassie onto the ground. " If I see you do anything to Amelia again I will kill you." I saw the fear in her eyes and it took everything in me to not broke every bone in her body. Cassie and her crew always use to bully Amelia. Amelia never wants anyone to help her because she wanted to handle it on her own but this time it went too far. She had hit her which never happened before.

I got up, grab my bag and run after Amelia but she was already far ahead, right at the opening of the forest. The only way I could have caught up to her is if I shift but I can't because some of the students at the school are humans. I will have to just keep running until I reach into the forest and shift so I can track her scent since she is so far ahead. When I had already finally found her she was at the foot of the mountain under a waterfall which I never knew. It was a sight to behold but Amelia's beauty outshines the surrounding. She saw me and I went behind the tree to shift and put on the only clothes I had in the bag which was a pair of shorts. I came out from behind the tree and she was looking at me like she was stuck in another world. I came to the edge of the water and I felt it was extremely cold. I called out to her and she finally answered me. I needed her to come out of the water, I am so worried that she might get sick. She finally agreed to come out of the water but she had one condition and it was for me to turn around. Realization struck me when she yes to my question that she was naked. My face felt like it was on fire and I turned away from her immediately letting her get dressed.
