Lora's [P.O.V]

I collected my certificate and was now driving home, then I decided to open an additional envelope that was given to me with my certificate, and once I did while driving... I took a peek at it seeing congratulations.

Then I dropped it back to the seat by my right-hand side since I didn't have time to read it while driving just so I don't violate one of the traffic laws since I am now an official of the State military technology.

After a long drive home, I finally reached.

I came down from my car but then I remembered that I had left the letter I had seen inside the envelope... So I went back into my car, taking a seat at my driver's side as I picked up the envelope which had the letter inside removing it and then reading through it.

"Congratulations Lora, due to your results in our science military university you've been awarded a one-month work with the police department of the United States, and you will be paid sixty thousand dollars this month once you start working with the police department" it reads.

"You are going to be working as an assistant to one of the top-rated police women of the country as a reward for being so diligent, intelligent, and brilliant, we wish you the best in your new job... if you accept the offer and we hope that you will share your military science knowledge to benefit not just those that know you but the country as a whole, do take care of yourself." says the vice-chancellor of our military University.

Now I get most of you who want to know why is it that I am in a military University and not studying a regular course, well it's because the country is at war or should I say preparing for war so the knowledge and the studies that are given to all the citizens of the Nation are all militaristic.

And that's the reason why I chose military science instead of going to a war that is not just ordinary but as well spiritual since both vampires and werewolves are attacking different packs in different countries but dressed as soldiers of the neighboring country which has been denying that they never ordered a war strike.

We the creatures know what is going on but the rest humans feel it an indirect war.

So, they could take over and be the strongest or should I say the most dominant in the world and the war is still going on over and over again.

It doesn't mean that bombs are being thrown.

it's actually a war for those who are intellectually brilliant and diligent... Like me.

I was so happy after I had read that since I thought that I would have to go and apply for a job somewhere to get paid but then it seems like my university had already arranged one for me since I studied really hard in order to make it in my career.

I would have to go and get ready for training for my birthday and my transformation in order for me to find my mate is coming.

I had to prepare as soon as possible and most importantly I had to sleep because it was one of the most important things I had to do today since I've been working about and thinking about useless people who have been gossiping me for no reason and stressing myself about most duties that I'm supposed to carry out since I am the future Luna of this pack and of the park which I will be married to so it was all up to me.

"Congrats angel," my mum said, welcoming me into the following and I followed her in return.

When I had gotten into our family building which had a very massive parlor that could accommodate more than fifty people.

I could perceive the smell of alcohol and the scent of My Father all over the air.

He's always been dominant with his alpha presence in the pack - I sincerely don't know why.

"Welcome back, you are finally done with school and you're just turning eighteen years old today," my father said to me as he brings me closer to himself using his alpha werewolf powers to attract me close to the table where he sat down taking alcohol with his beta assistant.

He was smiling as he looked at me.

My father's beta was called Andrew and he was a very dangerous person since he kills other pack members mercilessly and does not waste time when it comes to getting rid of something that he doesn't want to see and I can tell that that's the reason why my father likes him next to him since my father is somewhat the same a kind of person that does not care about other people's feelings when it comes to protecting their own Pack.

Though, it makes sense.

"Congratulations Lora," Andrew says to me in return and I bow greeting him back since he deserves respect for been one of the founders and protectors of our pack for years now, plus he has worked hand-in-hand with my father in doing dirty jobs and I can only remember the last time that I watched something that was so traumatizing.

Thanks to God, I have been able to forget about it.

Oh no did I just remember about it right now?

Ouch.

Well, the thing is when I was just fifteen years old there was an Alpha that came visiting and he was drinking about and misbehaving all of a sudden then he started abusing my father and due to his drunkenness, he touched my mum's boobs and that annoyed my father to the core.

Since he's a really possessive type.

He didn't want his Luna to be touched at all.

Normally alphas never get drunk when they take alcohol but this time it was surprising that he was drunk and I think that because wolfsbane was included in his drink which made him tipsy and free to behave as he wanted to behave.

Then, live and direct - I watched my father take out his hand, deep his hand into his stomach breaking his right ribs and then to the left ribs.

"No one touches my Luna wrongly," he says, using his claws to tear down from his stomach dividing his lower region and before he falls down.

He held his shoulders and extended his claws going upwards just before he grabbed the neck of the alpha looking into his eyes.

"And no one abuses me in my pack," he says, removing a wolfsbane stake stabbing the heart of the alpha as he used his left hand to take out his head and I felt really weak instantly.

It was the most shocking thing I had ever seen anyone do in my life.

That was the first time I fainted due to trauma.
