1 Prologue

Bodies.

Everywhere you turned. Covering the wide battlefield both dead and alive. Rain fell from above washing away the dead victims souls into hell. Yells of agony being the last thing the poor souls heard before they ascended on to the next life. Weapons scattered across of all kinds swords, spears, bow and arrows, daggers and so on. Magic infested the air, enchanting everyone's physical abilities so they could perform better. The sound of steel clashing together filled the night sky. Their armour clanking against one another and their boots stomping in the mud below them as they charge head first into the enemy, not so worried about the consequences they might face for being so bold and reckless.

The location they now stand at was once a beautiful city, where the people of Rosanne lived without a worry to give. A place where magic was studied and practiced religiously, a place where you were accepted no matter where you originated from, a place where everything was perfect. Unfortunately, the once lively city is now a war zone painted with blood and the screams of the brave but foolish fighter.

Crimson red splatter across the long blade that was stuck between multiple bodies that laid dead on the ground. The large piece of steel soon found refrig back in its owner's hand, continuing the cycle of attacking not too long after. Xiaojun watched carefully as the enemy raged on, killing his men while he looked for a singular person that could end this chaos. As his eyes were distracted many had attempted to take the great xioajun's life. They aimlessly swung their swords at the commander trying to land their strikes. Xiaojun doged their harsh attacks, careful not to get a singular scratch on him. He gracefully moved through each and every one of his attackers almost as if he were a dancer and not a soldier. They all fell to the ground with a slit through their necks. Courtesy of commander xiaojun. A quick and easy death.

wiping the sweat from his forehead, Xiaojun shivered as the cold night air hovered around his exposed skin. He glanced up, starting his search again. Moments later He spotted his prey. He moved swiftly and quickly, with the help of a wind spell, making his way to the one in charge of the warriors on the other side ; Along with killing anyone that got in his way.

At his arrival he did not hesitate to strike commander Reggie with his sword. Even though he was surprised, Reggie was still able to quickly block Xiaojun's sudden attack. Xiaojun immediately flew into action and started to bombard him with attacks. Still processing what was happening, Reggie only had time to block each blow as he was pushed back. This went on for quite a while, xiaojun on the attack and Reggie on the defence. Reggie was absolutely astonished by the young commander's strength since he had little power when it comes to magic. They fought on, with every touch their heavy swords lit up with a spark. Both commanders were determined to win, seeing this as not only a fight but a gamble with their pride and honour on the line.

Reggie was finally able to regain his cool and break off xioajun's assault. He then took this chance to turn things around and lunged towards Xiaojun. Reggies sword lit up an icy blue, obviously fixated with a support spell, perhaps one with ice magic. He landed a deep cut on Xiaojun's chest. Xiaojun moved back from Reggie, unfazed by the fact he had been wounded even though his whole body was getting colder by the minute. It was time for him to end this. As Reggie was about to swing his sword again, Xiaojun rushed forward and landed his last attack. It was fast and deadly, too fast for Reggie to even know what was happening. Xiaojun's sword sprung forward hitting Reggie's left shoulder and sprung back as quickly as possible. He repeated this action hitting Reggie's right shoulder, chest, forearm, leg, forehead, and lastly his stomach. He pierced through it with no problem as if this was something he was used to. He then withdrew his blade as he watched Reggie's eyes roll back and his lifeless body fall to the ground with a thud.

Silents.

Xiaojun's eyes become blurry as he stumbles back into the ground. He dropped his sword and held his head. There was a throbbing pain pulsing throughout his body. It seems the effect of battle had just started to sink in. As the adrenaline had still been racing through him, Xiaojun took a minute to calm his excited heart down. Soon later he was brought out of his daze by the cries of his men. Cries of victory.

"VICTORY IS OWERS"!!
