Leah's Warns Yuki
"Thanks for the grade, Instructor Damian. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll take my leave now since everything is done, right? The paperwork will be in the hands of the guild and I don't need to do anything with it. I'll come back tomorrow." Yuki said and without even waiting, she took her jacket as well as the gravity bracelets before leaving the area without even looking at any of them.
"She… she just left like that. Like she wasn't even proud of what she did, does she even know that she took out one of the greatest Generals that the Royal Family ever had?" Someone couldn't help but ask with a shaky voice as he just couldn't believe what was happening right in front of his eyes.
Instructor Damian who was an ex-general of the Royal Family, who had won countless wars without losing more than 20% of his army, and who had never lost a single battle in his whole life was just defeated by some unknown woman who they didn't even know yet.
"I feel the same way with you… but let me tell you this right now, don't ever try to investigate her or you will suffer the consequences. I have hired some mercenaries and even spies to gather information about her, but before we could even dive deeper into her, she got us first. My men said that she suddenly approached one of them before asking a question, and from that moment everyone already realized that she already knew what they were doing, and she basically gave them a warning from that." Lian raised her voice.
"What, you did that? So the rumors of having some mercenaries leaving the Capital because they got scared of their target was your doing?" One of them asked as they couldn't believe that Yuki was the real cause of it and that Lian was the one who hired those mercenaries who did nothing but run away in fear.
"Yeah, it was me. I was the one who hired them, but I didn't think that she would be that sharp. I guess I have really underestimated her even though I have seen what she was capable of. But let this serve as a warning to everyone, do not ever try to mess with her especially since we don't know anything about her." Lian gave all of them a warning before she finally took her leave, leaving everyone completely shocked.
Meanwhile, Yuki who had just gotten out of the Guild was stopped by Lian who was running after her, when she saw this, she just looked at her before opening her mouth before she could even say anything to her.
"What do you want from me, Lady Leah? I thought I already made myself clear that I do not want to talk to your Father as I'm quite busy right now." Yuki asked coldly as she looked Leah straight in the eyes making the woman shiver in fear when she felt it.
"No… I'm just here to apologize again for what we did back to you back then and also apologize for being rude just now. But the real reason that I want to talk to you again, is something that is related to my Father. If you really decide to meet him, please be very careful, he is a very dangerous man." Leah said before she finally took her leave without waiting for Yuki to say anything more as she knew that would just ignite her anger even more.
"Dangerous… We will see about that. Whether he is dangerous because of his power or because of his mind, it doesn't matter to me. Because at the end of the day, he is destined to die under my hands because of what he did to my dear little pet." Yuki said to herself as she merely ignored Leah's warning to her.
She has already faced so many dangerous people in her life and adding another one to it doesn't make a difference to her as all of her enemies that were considered dangerous were already either crippled or are already six feet underground.
Without wasting any more time, Yuki got inside the Black Lightning before flying back to her home. But when she got back, the two were already sleeping as she expected, so she just went downstairs as she didn't want to go to bed to sleep as it would wake the other two up. As she just jumped straight toward their bedroom using the balcony, she didn't realize that there was some food for her in the kitchen, and when she smelled it. She was pleasantly surprised because it was one of her favorite foods.
"I guess Fumiko taught Kurokami how to cook some nice Yakisoba, huh? But I wouldn't expect that there would be some flour that they can use to make that though." Yuki laughed to herself as she read the little note that was on the table that was clearly left for her to read.
This is the Yakisoba that me and sister Fumiko made for you! She said that this was one of your favorite dishes to eat, so I tried to recreate it. However I still think that the Yakisoba that sister Fumiko made is better, so if you don't find my food delicious, it's fine since sister Fumiko has made a backup that she made herself.
PS: Also, please don't feel guilty if you throw away mine, it's fine!
Yuki was amused by what she read as she didn't think that Kurokami would be able to fit so many words in such a little notepad. Either way, she grabbed the plastic container that contained the Yakisoba that Kurokami made before going towards the table to eat, grabbing the chopsticks, she put some in her mouth.
A small frown couldn't help but form on her face when she tasted it, the Yakisoba's texture was fine, it was just the right consistency, but that was the only thing that was good in the food that she could think of. The taste of burned soy sauce and to make it worse, it was also bland for her taste, thinking of this, she couldn't help but think if she was going to finish the food or not.
"Wait… let me taste what Fumiko did. It has been long since she has cooked for me after all." Without wasting any more time, Yuki went towards the kitchen again to grab the food that Fumiko made before taking a small bite at it, and when she tasted it a smile couldn't help but form on her face as it tasted like what she remembered it to be.
"It looks like her touch in food still hasn't dropped… As expected of a foodie like that, she really knows how to cook some delicious meals." Yuki smiled as she took another bite enjoying herself with the food.
