Chapter 37: Some Helpful Backup & Laverre City

The Next Morning at Lumiose:

*A Pokedex rang, got Mack to wake up, and answered.*

Cinderace (Mack): "Hello..."

Elizabeth: *Hey Mack...Sorry, did I wake you up?"

Cinderace (Mack): "Yes, you did. It's 6 am." *Yawns* "You need anything?"

Elizabeth: *Yes, I do. Give the Pokedex to my uncle. Please.*

Cinderace (Mack): *Gets up and walks to the room* "Remind me why?"

Elizabeth: *The gang and I...have a little problem last night.*

Cinderace (Mack): "Don't tell me Nashly found you."

Elizabeth: *No! No, we didn't get found that easily. It's just that we have a kidnapping involved.*

*Mack opens Aunt Maria and Uncle Luis' room door. He then goes to Luis who is sleeping like he's in heaven.*

Cinderace (Mack): "Yo, Luis. Wake up."

Uncle Luis: "Nooo...Let me sleep some more."

Cinderace (Mack): "It's your niece calling on the Pokedex."

*Luis gets up quickly and grabs the Pokedex from Mack as he sits up.*

Uncle Luis: "My sweet niece, how is the journey?"

Elizabeth: *Last night, everything was doing fine until a random Sylveon and Pancham took my Noivern and Darwin's Greninja.*

Uncle Luis: "Seriously? That's what happened?"

*Maria gets up after hearing from Elizabeth saying from the Pokedex.*

Elizabeth: "Yes, it's exactly that."

Uncle Luis: "Why did they take them?"

Elizabeth: *I'm not very sure. I'm calling you because I have a favor to ask.*

Uncle Luis: "Liz, you can ask anything. Besides, I can help you."

Elizabeth: *Uhm...can you go to the gym where I challenge the gym leader? You can go at about... noon. Is that okay with you?*

Uncle Luis: "Sure, I can do that."

Elizabeth: *Thanks, Uncle. You're the best. Promise you'll call me back? Because I want to speak with a boy named Clement. I have to talk with him about something.*

Uncle Luis: "I'll also do that too."

Elizabeth: *Okay bye!*

Uncle Luis: "Bye and stay safe."

*Luis ended the call*

With Geo & Nate:

*Both sounded sleepy. But Cherry wakes them up so rough.*

Sylveon (Cherry): "Wake up, boys."

Greninja (Geo): "AHH!"

Noivern (Nate): "AHH! You dumb bitch! You scared us!"

Delphox (Ruby): "Rise and shine."

Pancham (Roman): "The girls made breakfast for you."

*Serena came to place two food plates on the floor. Nate and Geo look at each other and look at Serena.*

Serena: "Why are looking at me being weird?"

Noivern (Nate): "How the hell are we supposed to eat if our hands are wrapped together with your Sylveon's ribbons?"

Serena: "Oh! Right. Cherry, can you help them out by feeding their food?"

*Cherry sat face to face with them and help to them eat the food.*

Greninja (Geo): (I hate this shit.)

Noivern (Nate): (Elizabeth, please save us.)

Garchomp (Mateo) POV - Nearly at Noon:

      We pack our stuff after Elizabeth calls her uncle. I notice Serena has to save food for Geo and Nate, she did it because they hadn't eaten anything last night. I appreciated what she was doing to help them from getting starved. The group then follows Grayson as he continues sniffing their scent. "I pick their scent and it's still there to this day and it leads to..." Grayson and the rest of us stopped at the gate when he got interpreted. "Another gate." He says very surprisingly. Elizabeth took a few steps to check our surroundings to see no sign of Team Flare or Nashly's gang. "The coast is clear, let's go."  She walked to the gate and we follow. During walking, Grayson leads his head down to scent Geo and Nate. The door opened itself and we have a look at the atmosphere of Laverre.

Tony: "Okay, here's my plan. Victor, Amy, and I will check all over the city to see if Nashly or her friends are there. Bobby, Alex, and Hannah will go to the Gym to warn Valerie about Nashly's plan."

Darwin: "That's a good idea. Liz and I will go find Geo and Nate."

Chesnaught (Finn): "I'll come with them in case Jesus will do something to Elizabeth."

Tony: "You'll also need another Pokemon to track them, so Grayson will go with you."

*Tony takes off his hoodie and covers Grayson over his head.*

Tony: "Grayson, you'll need my hoodie to hide you from my cousin to find them."

Mightyena (Grayson): "Thanks."

Victor: "Once we're done, we'll meet up in the Pokemon Center."

Amy: "Alright everyone, let's spread out."

We go to separate ways to shutter the city. Grayson is sniffing some scents and Finn is still pissed after finding out the boy has the balls to like Elizabeth after what she is through. "Finn, I know you're frustrated about what's going on, but things were turn out okay."

Chesnaught (Finn): "Yeah, I know. But I don't fucking like what the boy says when I'm with Grayson, this turn things will be got even worst. We have gone through what, getting taken one by one in the place she luring in."

Grachomp (Mateo): "Yeah..."

Chesnaught (Finn): "Have to save everyone from that damned party."

Garchomp (Mateo): "That's true."

Chesnaught (Finn): "Two kids almost got hurt by Nashly."

Garchomp (Mateo): "That one does suck but at least they got rescued."

Mightyena (Grayson): "Yeah, Finn. We can deal with him later. Right now is the time to find Geo and Nate."

Sylveon (Serena): "Do you try harder to find with their senses?"

Mightyena (Grayson): "Yeah, but they could be any-"

*Then throwing stars would come towards us, nearly killing us.*

Sylveon (Serena): "AHH!"

Mightyena (Grayson): "BLOODY HELL!"

*Mateo looks at the star and realized it looks very familiar.*

Garchomp (Mateo): "Wait, those stars are familiar. That's Water Shuriken. That means..."

*A few look up and noticed Geo is at the top of the balcony door.*

Garchomp (Mateo): "Geo?!"

Greninja (Geo): "Mateo?!"

With Alex, Bobby & Hannah:

*Hannah looks around and found the Gym.*

Hannah: "Is this it?"

Alex: "This is the place."

Bobby: *Knocking on the door* "Hey. Hello! Is someone inside?"

*A female gym trainer with black hair opened a little and saw them on the doorstep.*

Female gym trainer #1: "What do you want? Lady Valerie is very busy at the moment."

Hannah: "Sorry about that, we just want to say that-"

*Another female gym trainer came and was shocked.*

Female gym trainer #2: "You...You're one of the troublemakers who are involved with the Grand Party incident."

Alex: "W-What. No, you got it all wrong. We saved people from-"

Female gym trainer #2: "Save it! I won't let you meet or see Lady Valerie! I won't let that go in harm's way!"

*She shut the door loudly and lock the door.*

Alex: "What in the..."

Bobby: *Knocking on the door harshly* "Hey! My brother is trying to explain and you fuckers just shut the door on us!"

Hannah: "HEY! HEY! Bobby, calm down."

Bobby: *Groans* "We try to warn them that Nashly is going to do something to Valerie."

Alex: "Let them be. They are gonna regret it."

*Hannah calls Elizabeth on her Pokédex. She waited until it answered.*

Elizabeth: *Yes, Hannah?"

Hannah: "Uh...Elizabeth, we have a problem."

With Luis and Alejandro: Outside the gym:

*Luis takes a view of the gym.*

Luis: "Son, are you sure it is the right place where your cousins challenged the gym leader?"

Alejandro: "Of course this is it. My cousins take me and Diego while babysitting. Follow me."

*Alejandro and Luis enters the gym and sees Bonnie feeds her Pokemon, Dedenne, with cheese. She notices coming to the Gym*

Bonnie: *Waving her hands* "Oh! Hi Alejandro."

Alejandro: "Hi Bonnie. Dad, this is Bonnie, a friend I made yesterday."

Bonnie: "It's nice to meet you, sir."

Uncle Luis: "Hello sweetie. Do you know a gym leader named Clement?"

Bonnie: "Oh! You mean my brother. He's a gym leader in this area."

Uncle Luis: "In that case, could you called him out here?"

Bonnie: "Okay. Big brother, we have a visitor."

*Clement went downstairs and saw Luis and Alejandro.*

Uncle Luis: "Are you...Clement?"

Clement: "Yes, I am." *Recognizes Alejandro* "Hey, little man. What are you doing?"

Alejandro: "We're here because my older cousin call my dad in the early morning."

Clement: "Really? She called? What for?"

Uncle Luis: "It's about a kidnapping. My niece's Noivern and Darwin's Greninja got taken a Sylveon and Pancham. But she doesn't know who they belong to."

Bonnie: "Wait...Wait a minute! I know who they are."

Uncle Luis: "...Really."

Bonnie: "Yes, I do! Clement, remember our other friend, who left Kalos at a airport to go to Hoenn. She have two of the three Pokemon we know."

Clement: "Do you mean?"

Bonnie: "Yes!"

*Clement look at Luis.*

Clement: "We can help your niece."

Uncle Luis: "I'll call her."

Back to Garchomp (Mateo) POV:

Greninja (Geo): "You guys are here."

Chesnaught (Finn): "Holy moly, Geo. What had they done to you?"

Greninja (Geo): "Those idiots drag me and Nate in Laverre. And we're tied together."

*Serena uses her ribbon to reach the balcony until she landed. She checks on Nate to see him exhausted from that night.*

Sylveon (Serena): *Speaks French* "Nate, regarde-toi. Tu ressembles à de la merde." (Nate, look at you. You look like shit.)

Noivern (Nate): "I know, Serena. I look like a hot mess."

Sylveon (Serena): "Here, I know both of you didn't eat last night but I save some."

*Serena takes out pieces of sandwich.*

Noivern (Nate): "Food!"

Sylveon (Serena): "Elizabeth knows you love sandwiches so mu-"

*Nate eats it from her ribbons as he interprets Serena.*

Greninja (Geo): "It seems he likes it."

*Darwin and Brittany came up to check on us*

Darwin: "Mateo, have you found Geo?"

Garchomp (Mateo): "Yeah, he's at the baloney to one of the houses."

Elizabeth: "You guys went to the gym and the gym trainers were suspecting that we are involved with the party incident."

Hannah: *Yeah, and Clement's right. They thought we have something to do to the party. But what about you? Did you find them?*

Elizabeth: *Looks up* "Yeah, I found them safe which is good news."

*Elizabeth have a another call*

Elizabeth: "Hannah, I'm going to have to hang up. My uncle is calling right now."

*Elizabeth hang up and answers Luis' FaceTime call on her Pokédex.*

Elizabeth: "Uncle?"

Uncle Luis: *Elisa, I'm at the Gym with Clement.*

Elizabeth: "Good, give it to him."

Clement: *Hey, what happened in Laverre?"

Elizabeth: "Clement, you got to come to Laverre ASAP because we got a bigger problem here. See it for yourself."

*She shows Clement the sight of Geo and Nate being held up at the balcony door wrap around his ribbons.*

Clement: *Holy-*

Bonnie: *Oh my God.*

Greninja (Geo): "Is that Bonnie?"

Elizabeth: "Finn, raise me up on the balcony."

*Finn wraps her with his vines and raises to the baloney.*

Elizabeth: "Bonnie sweetie, Geo had a question to ask you something."

Greninja (Geo): "Bonnie."

Bonnie: *Yes?*

Greninja (Geo): "Do my emotions link to Battle Bond?"

Bonnie: *Oh gosh! I might have forgotten to tell you about that.*

Greninja (Geo): "You...What?!"

Bonnie: *I'm sorry!*

Greninja (Geo): "You little rascal. You couldn't tell me another thing about Battle Bond."

Elizabeth: "Can you come to Laverre for backup?"

Clement: *Yes, I can help you, along with my sister.*

Elizabeth: "Thank you so much, both of you meet me at the Pokemon Center in a flash."

*She ended the call as Brittany hop at the baloney."

Delphox (Brittany): *Hugs Geo* "You're okay."

Greninja (Geo): "I had you worried, didn't I?"

Delphox (Brittany): "We got to get you both out of here."

Noivern (Nate): "Brittany, don't!"

Delphox (Brittany): "Why?"

Greninja (Geo): "They say to us that they will be back at any moment."

Delphox (Brittany): "Oh no..." *Look at Elizabeth* "Liz, what do we do now?"

Elizabeth: "I don't know. We can't take them back, they will suspect they escape."

Darwin: "Now we are in a dead-end."

*We overheard a door open downstairs.*

Sylveon (Cherry): "We're here, boys."

Greninja (Geo): "Oh no, they're here! You guys need to get out of here."

Delphox (Brittany): "What about you and Nate?"

Noivern (Nate): "We can defend ourselves."

Delphox (Brittany): "Nate, you can't defend yourself from a Fairy-Type Pokemon."

Garchomp (Mateo): "Girls, come on."

Serena jumps off the balcony as Darwin catches her. Then Brittany's turn to jump off. Elizabeth is about to jump but was interpreted by a voice that startled her the worst. "What are you doing on the baloney?" A Pancham freaked out as the others went upstairs. Elizabeth was shocked to see another teen and then she took a photo of them to show this to Clement and Bonnie. She finally jumps off which leads to Darwin catching her and running off to the Pokemon Center.

At the Pokemon Center:

Elizabeth: "Did you find Nashly?"

Tony: "Yeah, she's sharing a tent with one of her friends. What about you? Did you find Geo and Nate?"

Darwin: "Yes, they are on the baloney to one of the houses we look at."

Elizabeth: "And I manage to take a photo of the ones who did this. Take a look."

*Tony and Darwin look at the picture of the teen from Elizabeth's Pokedex.*

Tony: "No way."

Darwin: "That's their partner. The girl with honey-blonde hair?"

Elizabeth: "Yup. Look at the two Pokemon, it's them alright."

*Clement and Bonnie came and find them standing there, waiting.*

Darwin: *Waving his hand* "Clement, we are over here."

Clement: "We got here as fast as we could."

*Bonnie was being nervous.*

Bonnie: "Hey, did you take a picture or something like that? I have a big feeling about who could they be."

Elizabeth: "Lucky, I did."

*Elizabeth shows the photo to them. Clement was stunned and Bonnie screamed and surprised.*

Bonnie: "I knew it! I freaking knew it is her!"

Clement: "Oh god..."

Elizabeth: "Wait..."

Tony: "You guys knew who is she."

Bonnie: "That's my best friend! She used to go with us on our journey together. Man, I knew her two Pokemon are so familiar to me."

Darwin: "Clement?"

*Clement takes Elizabeth's Pokédex, still stunned to see a teen from the photo.*

Clement: "Her name is Serena. Serena Gabena. Bonnie, Ash, and I met her when she didn't know where to start because this is the first time going somewhere by herself. So Ash and I wanna help. What she enjoyed the most is performing in Pokemon Showcase."

Elizabeth: "What's a Pokemon Showcase?"

*Clement retreats a Pokédex back to Elizabeth.*

Clement: "It's when people sign up if they choose to be a performer along with their Pokemon, on stage on live TV. What people do is watch their performance and vote for only one performer with their Pokedex, phone, and light color that represents a performer."

Elizabeth: "Huh, she likes to be in the spotlight."

Bonnie: "Yeah, but I don't understand. My brother and I saw her leave Kalos to go to Hoenn at the airport. How come she's here?"

Clement: "Maybe she might be in Hoenn sometime and come back without telling us."

Tony: "Okay, it is fine. You should come here so we can plan to rescue them."

Elizabeth POV:

      I open the door for them as we enter. Bobby was surprised to see them came, "You arrive in a nick of time." Clement wave a little and follow me and the table as we discuss the plan. The rest came to see as we are plotting what to do. "Hmm...Bonnie. You knew her three Pokemon so much. Tell us what you know." I ask politely to the girl. "Well...the Pancham is Roman. The Sylveon is Cherry." Then Bonnie take over, "And that Delphox must be Ruby. We love to travel around Kalos. Whatever we go, Serena loves to go to showcase to achieve her goal to become a full-time performer. From what I remember all of our Pokemon we're like the best of friends with Ash's and Serena's Pokemon." She sighs. "Memories. Memories I'll never forget."

Elizabeth: "Speaking of Pokemon, how many Pokemon did Ash have while he was with you?"

Clement: "He has a Pikachu, a Talonflame, a Greninja, a Hawlucha, a Noivern, and lastly a Goodra which makes six in his team."

Darwin: "So you do know."

Clement: "Of course, I'm good at remembering things from the past. Now that I'm mentioning this, both of your Greninja and Elizabeth's Noivern were very similiar to the two Pokemon Ash have while his journey in Kalos."

Darwin: "Yeah, which sounds weird. Both a Pancham and a Sylveon take them to Laverre from where we camped out for the night."

Bonnie: "I think Cherry and Roman didn't realized that the Pokemon they took isn't really Blue and Eli."

Clement: "Christ..."

Noivern (Vincent): "Guys, I have received sound waves from Nate, and he's freaking out by now."

Darwin: "Thanks."

*Vincent went to lay down at the floor.*

Tony: "Look, my sister's Noivern won't last a day with a Fairy-Type Pokemon."

Darwin: "Yeah, same goes to Geo. My team wanted him back."

Clement: "You're right...Hmm...But how?"

*A lightbulb hit Clement's mind.*

Clement: "Wait, I got one."

*Clement took out three Pokeballs and throw them at the air to release a Chesnaught, a Luxray, and a Diggersby.*

Luxray (Haru): "Finally, we're...home?"

*The three looking back and forth.*

Diggersby (Ren): "This isn't Lumiose."

Chesnaught (Adam): "Clement, what's going on? How come we are not at home?"

Clement: "Guys, not gonna lie but Serena is here in Laverre."

*Clement's Pokemon laughed, thinking Clement is telling a joke.*

Luxray (Haru): "This have to be a joke. Serena is in Hoenn."

Chesnaught (Adam): "Are you for real?"

Clement: "Uh..."

Diggersby (Ren): "For real?"

Clement: "..."

Chesnaught (Adam): *Feels concerned* "Is it really?"

Clement: "...Yes."

*The three were speechless to Clement's answer.*

Victor: "Hold on. You guys don't know?"

The three: "No."

Diggersby (Ren): "We didn't know she come back."

Clement: "These three were the ones who are with me while going on a journey with Ash. They even know their old friends from before."

Elizabeth: "Aww..."

Chesnaught (Adam): "Speaking of friends, we don't know how...they are doing. We haven't seen them for a while."

Tony: "You know, my sister took their photo before jumping off the baloney if you're interesting."

Luxray (Haru): "Did she really take it?"

Elizabeth: "Yeah, I did. I already show this them."

*I show it to them and surprisely, they're recognized them too.*

Diggersby (Ren): "Jesus Christ..."

Luxray (Haru): "Oh, Cherry and Roman! Damn, they hadn't change at all. Can you believe it, Adam? Uh, Adam."

Chesnaught (Adam): *Looks at the photo* "...Rudy...She changed a lot..."

Bonnie: "Yeah, she was just a Braixen, just how I remember clearly. It's too bad I didn't get to see them."

Victor: "Hey, Clement's Chesnaught. Do you have a plan to get them back?"

Chesnaught (Adam): "Hmm... I have. I think one Pokemon is going on the front door, and that is going to be Haru."

Luxray (Haru): "What? Why me?"

Diggersby (Ren): "Haru, you haven't changed a bit. So you'll be in charge of distracting them."

Luxray (Haru): "Fine, but can I at least bring someone with me so this won't be super awkward?"

Clement: "You can take Asahi."

*Clement throws a Pokeball with Asahi inside. He hands him by throwing and Haru successfully catches it with his mouth.*

Luxray (Haru): *Muffles* "Thanks.*

Chesnaught (Adam): "With Haru's help, it will give us a chance to rescue them as we sneak into the baloney leading to Serena's bedroom with no problem."

Elizabeth: *Claps* "EEE! That's a good plan."

Tony: "Clement, we owe you a lot."

Clement: "Oh well, it's the least I can do."

*Tony and Clement shakes hands.*

Elizabeth: "Everyone, we're going to get them back!"

Heliolisk (Julian): "Fucking finally."

Noivern (Vincent): "Zzz..."

Venusaur (Bullet): "Yo, Vincent. Wake up."

Noivern (Vincent): "Huh! I'm awake."

Delphox (Brittany): "We better get them out this time, otherwise they will freak out even more."

Bobby: *Opens the door* "Then that means we got some rescue work to do."

The team got Clement and his little sisterʼs help from a former friend they know for a long time. A teen who is a showcase performer, along with her three Pokemon is blinded to take Geo and Nate held as hostile. Will they get them out in no time? What will happen after that?
