Chapter 23: A Helping Hand

Elizabeth POV:

I just came to my older cousin from training as he was holding a two letter that Tony and I given him. I noticed he and I were serious about it and wanted to talk. Hannah was busy but was with Nashly if she get any other bruises as she goes to look for us. I'm scared of Bobby's reaction. But it appears that Bobby wasn't mad or anything, he's just shocked that I got accepted. I also tell him that Nashly already knows why. Bobby couldn't believe what he heard from me and our conversation got interpreted as someone was calling his Pokédex.

Bobby: "Hello?"

Alex: "Bro, do you get home safely?"

Bobby: "Not exactly..."

Alex: "What do you mean, 'Not exactly?' Where are you right now?"

Elizabeth: "Hey, Alex, how are you doing? How's Alola?"

Alex: "I'm doing just fine and-." *Feels Confused* "Wait...Liz, is that you?"

Elizabeth: "The one and only."

Alex: "Oh my God! Liz, you have no clue how much Bobby and I missed ya!"

Elizabeth: "I can tell by that tone of your voice."

Alex: "What are you doing outside? Isn't it too dangerous for you to wander off everywhere?"

Elizabeth: "Nah, it isn't so bad. I got accepted to be one of Sycamore's students. Tony and Darwin were one of them."

Alex: "That's good news! I'm so proud!"

Bobby: "She doesn't tell us about this...until now."

Alex: "What?! Liz, why on earth won't you tell us?! We have to know!"

Elizabeth: "I don't know when is a good time to tell you! You're making this hard for me!"

Alex: "Cousin, I'm sorry for yelling at you, but where is Nashly?"

Elizabeth: "She's over there with the others. She just watched them as they practicing. And Alex..."

Alex: "Yes?"

Elizabeth: "Nashly came to us without..."

Alex: "Without a what?"

Bobby: "A Pokemon, dummy."

I pointed at Nashly, leaning against the wall as she watched. The look on Alex's face was pretty much filled with angered as he yelled about it. Nashly looked at us and realized that she was going to be in so much trouble. He was furious at her own sister because she wandered off, but it wasn't my fault she got herself to this mess. Alex calmed himself down as he said, adding that he got some things to do.

Elizabeth: "Alex, you okay?"

Alex: "I'm just mad at my younger sister, and Bobby, I got to go. Ace is getting tired of waiting right now."

Dartrix (Ace): *On the background* "Alex, hurry up! We have to get going!"

Bobby: "Sure, I'll call you next time, if I have time."

Alex: "Good luck, both of you."

Bobby ends the call and we went to Tony who was with Amy, chatting about two excuses we have to deal with. We walked towards them as I asked, "Who's Ace, by the way?" Bobby politely answered, "That's Alex's Starter. His Starter Pokemon was an Dartrix." Bobby overheard as Tony didn't expect him to hear it. Bobby said, "I'll help you". Tony shocked when he said, "Really, you must be joking around?" I can tell the our cousin is serious. "Of course not, why won't I?" He said in a serious way. "Can't have my cousins be in danger, right? Especially Nashly." Bobby was right about this, I could've said no to him. Tony says it's okay that he can tag along. I nodded to them and Bobby bring out his partner, an Torracat. Hannah, as well, bring out her partner, an Bronnie, and tell them to meet new friends. Before they were able to meet them, Nashly tells them their names. Now that reminds me, Bobby actually found Team Flare grunts.

Elizabeth: "Hey Bobby..."

Bobby: "Yes, Liz?"

Elizabeth: "You don't happen to bump into Team Flare, haven't you?"

Bobby: "Uh...Yeah, why would you say that? You must be joking?"

Elizabeth: "Do I looked like a joke to you?"

Bobby: "No, you're not. You are actually serious about this. Uh, I might have bump into them when you came along."

Elizabeth: "Great...because I need some help from you."

Quilladin (Finn) POV:

         I bored of sitting there and do nothing. I slept for a while, not for long enough until I woke up by Jayden. He was shaking me back and forth to wake me up. I got so dizzy demand him to stop. I have no idea what's going on with this, but Julian tells the group that he had some video he'd like us to see it. The video I saw was unbelievable that I'm amazed by how she could beat Geo so easily. I started at Geo and Brittany as they came. They asked,

Frogadier & Braixen (Geo & Brittany): "What?"

Quilladin (Finn): "Oh, I don't know, I didn't realize that Brittany beat you so easily."

Frogadier (Geo): "I just...have to go easy on her, you know?"

Braixen (Brittany): "Besides, it's for practice."

Heliolisk (Julian): "Whatever that is, it's awesome!"

Quilladin (Finn): "I don't know you can do that."

Braixen (Brittany): "I taught those myself, and I can also put on a fight."

This gets me so much more in my head, suddenly a Torracat and a Bronnie walk towards us. Stella and Randy came back from Amy and Victor, as they finish the battle with Serena and the other Amy. A Torracat looked down at Julian, as he was treated like a kid.

Torracat (???): "Hello, little fella."

Heliolisk (Julian): "Who are you calling 'little fella'? I'm not some kind of kid."

Torracat (???): "You sure look like one."

Bronnie (???): "But look at you, you are so cute, though!"

Braixen (Brittany): "Hi, you two must be new."

Frogadier (Geo): "Finn, have you met them?"

Quilladin (Finn): "Nope, never seen them before in my life."

Torracat (Calvin): "We are new. I'm Calvin."

Bronnie (Bonnie): "And I'm Bonnie. We are come from Alola."

Torracat (Calvin): "And I heard you were Geo, Brittany, Finn, Stella, and Randy."

Dewott (Randy): "How-!"

Frogadier (Geo): "How do you know our names?"

Torracat (Calvin): "Lucky guess."

Bronnie (Bonnie): "That nice girl told us all of your names."

        Bonnie pointed out that Nashly is the one who told them. Right, we didn't expect her to tell her to do that. Nashly was with Bobby, standing with him so she can be safe. We turned to look at us, awkwardly waved her hand at us.

Quilladin (Finn): *In my mind* (I didn't think she would do that for us.) "Do you mean, Nashly?"

Bronnie (Bonnie): "Yup!"

Torracat (Calvin): "Uh, Julian. What happened to you? You have a bruise."

Heliolisk (Julian): *Sweating with fear* "Oh! That. That just nothing. It's just I got..." *Lies* "I got it from an accident."

Frogadier (Geo): "Actually, he got the bruise from-Mhm!" *Julian's hand was placed on Geo's mouth*

Heliolisk (Julian): *Lies* "Geo saying that I got it from an accident, it was from a battle."

Torracat (Calvin): "Oh, that must be bad. You better be careful next time."

Heliolisk (Julian): "Yeah, I should. Now if you excuse me for a moment, I think I need these four to help me out with something."

Bronnie (Bonnie): "Okay, we'll be with Bobby and Hannah. See you there."

Julian awkwardly wave at them and immediately tell us to follow him. We have no clue why, but he has some things in his mind. Julian stopped at Darwin's bag and it made me confused about it.

Heliolisk (Julian): "Geo, go through Darwin's bag."

Frogadier (Geo): *Confused* "Why me?"

Heliolisk (Julian): "Just go through his bag!"

Frogadier (Geo): "Okay! Jeez! You don't have to yell."

Geo was going through Darwin's bag, but didn't know what he wants. I'm pretty sure Julian was trying to hide his bruise without people knowing. I helped him as I whispered to him. He realized it too, take out a long red-looking scarf that was big enough to cover the bruise.

Frogadier (Geo): *Holds a red scarf* "Hey Julian, is this what you want?"

Heliolisk (Julian): "Yes, now give me so I could cover it."

         Geo throws the a scarf at Julian as he catches it. Julian tied the scarf around his chest to cover it. Darwin called us to come over to find one of the grunts who might be still here. I have feel long that they are up to something and I won't like the sound of that.

Heliolisk (Julian) POV:

         To be honest, I hate the bruise on me but it will fainted away eventually, I hope. We came to Darwin, saying one of the grunts were still in the Reflection Cave or maybe they already ran off. I'm wasn't surprised at all as we looked around, making sure if anyone had seen anything suspicious. I looked everywhere as I noticed there's not only two, there are three of them. I'm scared that I might make any noise if they noticed. I was about to walk away un I bumped to Mateo as I immediately tell him that I found the grunts. Bullet found us, Mateo whispery said, "Get help, right now." Bullet went to get help as he could get Darwin and the others.

          Few minutes passed by, Darwin finally came here to help out. Geo noticed I given a scared glance at my face, getting confused. Brittany was look around and realized Darwin was right along. She come up with a good idea and asked her team to help us out. Darwin has a feeling Brittany was planning for all of us to attend an attack these grunts, thinking they can get away with it. Victor and Amy sends other of their Pokemon and so does Bobby and Hannah did the same. Nashly hadn't happened to know Team Flare as she hide and doesn't want to hurt herself. We carefully went hiding behind one of big rock to spread out as our trainers go to them and do their thing.

Team Flare Grunt #1: "Look what we have here."

Team Flare Grunt #2: "It's the kid from the Glittering Cave, what's he going here?"

Tony: "What? I thought you people ran off and becoming scaredy-cats now."

Victor: "Yeah, why you're still here?"

Team Flare Grunt #3: "Listen, kids. Like we say to the two other kids, this isn't your business."

Bobby: "You mean, me and Hannah?"

Team Flare Grunt #2: "What in the!"

Hannah: "That's right, we know the rest of them."

Elizabeth: "Now attack!"

        The grunts were confused as we immediately came out from our hiding spots. They turn around and gasped as all of us threw powerful moves to attack them. They ran away to get out of the way, as one of them say as the two go away where they came from, "You'll regret it this time!" As they are gone, Nashly came out of her hiding spot, and went behind her brother, is a little bit frightened. "Okay, now that you had your fun, can we please back to Shalour?" Nashly said with fear. "The reason is that I can't take it anymore in the scary-looking cave!" Bobby laughed out loud and couldn't take it anymore, seeing his little sister suffered fear like that.

          We came back to the Pokemon Center, the girls wanted the us boys to clean ourselves first. After we finished showering, the girls are taking their time at the shower as Nashly slept quietly in bed, it turns out that she's tired of run away from a bunch of Wild Pokemon as she looked for Elizabeth and Tony. Darwin and Tony were thinking of their strategy with Geo and Finn. The some were inside of their Pokeballs while the rest gathered around to help out. Mateo pulled me into the plan they are making.

Quilladin (Finn): "I think I can use Pin Missile for this."

Frogadier (Geo): "I don't think so, Finn."

Darwin: "Yeah, he's right."

Quilladin (Finn): "Why would you say that?"

Tony: "Bug-Type Moves like Pin Missile won't worked on a Fighting-Type."

Quilladin (Finn): "Didn't know that. What about you, Geo? You still had Aerial Ace, right?"

Ivysaur (Bullet): "He still has Aerial Ace, but..."

Frogadier (Geo): "That will take much less damage to put off this one."

Raichu (Logan): "What we need is their weaknesses."

Dewott (Randy): "I got this covered. Victor, if you please?"

Victor: "On it."

Victor took out his Pokedex to get information on Fighting-Type. I went to take a look at his research. "Bingo!" shouted Victor. Then Randy came to Victor, give his Pokedex to show it as we have found it.

Dewott (Randy): "Here it is, boys."

Tyrunt (Daniel): "Well, why wouldn't you look at that."

Torracat (Calvin): "There are only three weaknesses: Fairy, Psychic, and Flying."

Quilladin (Finn): "Bridgette is a Fairy-Type, it will be easy."

Darwin: "I don't have either Fairy or Psychic, but I only have is Flying/Dragon-Type."

Heliolisk (Julian): "I think...Vincent can do it."

The others turned to look at me and Vincent, and then Victor noticed that this will be a great way to win against Korrina. I winked at him saying that this is a good sign.

Noibat (Vincent): "Me? Why me?"

Heliolisk (Julian): "You are one who can handle Fighting-Type, let's be honest here."

Noibat (Vincent): "AND, we weren't sure who we are battling, though."

Heliolisk (Julian): "...Yeah, right."

Honedge (Jayden): "This will be a good opportunity for you."

Darwin: "What do you say, Vincent?"

        Vincent was silent and doesn't know what to say. I believe he was able to do this for our team as we work together. Vincent has no option but to accept.

Noibat (Vincent): "Fine,...I'll do it."

Raichu (Logan): "Then, Serena and Nate will take it from here."

Noibat (Nate): "Now it's all settle."

Pancham (Budo): "Wait, what about Brittany? Did you know she also has Psychic-Type Moves?"

Raichu (Logan): "Oh...Crap. How come I didn't think of that?"

Braixen (Brittany): "Think of what?"

      Logan noticed Brittany just came out of the bathroom with the rest of the girls, fully dressed for the night. It was an awkward silent for an moment, as Logan says awkwardly, "Hehe...Nothing. Nothing at all." Until, Elizabeth has told us to rest before heading face-to-face with Korrina.

Everyone headed to bed until the next morning. The group has made few strategies for their day to battle Korrina. Nashly check to see if ever one of them were asleep. She's overthinking that Geo and Brittany were a fine couple but wasn't sure if her older cousin and Darwin were a thing or not. She can't stop thinking about it and tries to forget it, but she ended up falling asleep for the past few hours. Maybe in the morning, she will realize it's just a dream...or is it?
