Henry walked in, smiling, going directly to Diana's direction and even if Chad got in the middle, Henry only made a move of hand and he went flying against the wall beside them

"Hi, Diana! It is nice to finally find you. How is your father?"

"Who are you?"

"Henry Brown. But you can call me guardian."

"Brown?!" she asked, taken by surprise, just like the others "Are you my grandfather?"

"I am his father."

"How are you so young, then?"

"Eric is an expert. After all he was the one who found the potion of rejuvenation and almost drink it all."

Diana looked at Eric that had his head down and fists clenched. Then she remembered what happened in the forest.

"So... does that mean Esme was your wife? Does that mean you have..."

"Well... she is not that old." Eric said.

"As much as I wanted to see all the drama, I needed Chad for something, everyone just goes with what you were doing" he explained as he walked towards Chad and grabbed his vests "Have a nice time in the castle, everyone is very nice."

Then he disappeared with Chas and Diana decided to look at the door, where everyone was in silence.

"Why would I be scared of the guardian? You thought that he wanted me dead?"

"It is not as easy as you think." Jace said, sadly " He is an expert in psychology."

" I will be careful!" Diana said before putting both hands on her waist "Now I can go to the library, right?"

"Are you going to ask my age?" Eric asked.

"You were so uncomfortable back there. You tell me when you feel like it."

He smiled and grabbed her shoulder, then pulled her by the hand to the library. She squeezed his hand a little, but then she remembered Chad and let go, which left them both embarrassed.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

"That is fine." she said, while playing with the ends of her hair, "It's just that I don't know you well. I don't want to be rude."

The rest of the walk through the halls were made in silence, Eric greeting the employees who passed by and talked about the power of light that the golden walls of the hall had.

"And we are here." he said at the end of the corridor, where there were two red doors that almost reached the top of the four meter wall.

As soon as they entered, they noticed Chad dressed as a guard, reading a book, right in the center of the library, with a dome on top.

"Chad?!" she called, confused, why did he changed to that clothing?"

"I can't believe he made you do that!" Eric was incredulous, approaching his brother.

"Or was this or she would be sent to jail."

"You know that he is playing with your mind, right? He just wants you to read that book."

"That I no longer can't!" Chad declared, annoyed "Now what am I going to do?"

"What book is this?" Diana asked curiously and then they moved away so she could see. "But the book is written... in my language?"

The brothers looked at each other before grabbing her arm and pulling her back, at the same time the light intensified and Diana became dizzy, ending up fainting.

Diana woke up and was lying on a sofa, with her head on the queen's lap, who ran her wet fingers over her forehead, which relaxed her.

"I see you woke up." Mariahn said, smiling "Now...! Can someone explain what happened?"

"She read the book!"

"Oh! Understandable!" She said softly and then looked at her sons "Why are you with that clothes, Chad?"

"I had no choice." he answered and his mother got angry, ready to get up but he was first, walking to his mother. "You know how I am. I would never trade Diana for anything in this world."

Diana hid his face with her hands and Eric looked away, annoyed.

"When do you start?" Jace asked with his eyes closed "I hope you know what you're doing. You'll never be the same after going on this mission!"

"Don't worry, dad! I'll start next year, I still have time."

"What are you all talking about? What mission? Is it dangerous?"

Chad looked at her encouragingly and then touched her face lightly.

"It's something you don't need to worry about."

"Since you're going to be around, why don't you teach Diana about magic? I'm sure it's something that interests her, isn't that right, dear?"

Without responding, Diana quickly stood up with her eyes shining with emotion and everyone started laughing.

"What was it?" she was confused and annoyed "Is something wrong?"

"No, Diana. Is just the way you reacted, sorry." Chad said, smiling "Let's go to the library again, shall we?"

"This time don't go near the book or you will be back here."

She laughed and followed Chad. On their way to the place, he offered his hand without looking into her eyes, Diana could even see a little red in his ear. She remembers the conversation she had with Eric, but at that moment it felt right to give him the hand.

As they got inside, Chad immediately closed the door and checked if there was anyone before going to a nearby table. He asked Diana to sit on the chair he had just pulled out and then went to get books. While he was away Diana had her eyes on the book under the dome.

"There is a time when you can do read it. But there is really nothing important there."

"If it was not important, it would not need such high security."

"You are right! Let's just continue studying."

For two whole weeks, Diana was fixed on the studies, but as well the way Chad would talk to her, touch her hair and how he would lean over so closely when teaching something.
