Seeing Gemma's action, Flynn could only smile at Lucas helplessly.

"Okay then. Flynn, go to the supermarket over there and buy some convenient food and drinks while I take Professor Crawford to the car."

By the time Lucas and Gemma reached the parking lot outside Georgetown University, Flynn had returned with a bag of sandwiches and mineral water.

They ate in the car. After about half an hour, they arrived at the land in the eastern suburbs of DC.
