It was mildly entertaining at first, but it reads too much like an ancient wuxia even though it’s set in modern times. Culterally, it’s hot garbage. In 90% of the situations the MC or his family are in someone would have called the police instead of just sitting there “fearing” the other person’s family. It’s a bunch of, “I’m so and so from clan whoever from whatever county. Fear me”. No on talks like that in modern times or expects people to realize who they are like that. It is fairly terrible plot wise, as well. The MC only meets conceited spoiled rich people who are offended by his poor son in law status and they to suppress him only to fail.

Like the book, characters are believable. The chapter release and use of the app is a negative impact for me. But I have enjoyed the book. If they could fix the delay for so long if would a perk. The needs to be more user friendly. I have spend to much not to be able to finish reading this books ams have stopes at chapter 164

Same old cliche son-in-law genre with abit spices. However, this would not prevent me from enjoying this story because the translation and the plot are too good too be ignored just like that.

I cant stop reading this book! It is in my top 5 favorite books. I’m amazed how many chapters are in this book and the fact that every week there are 2 more chapters. I wonder if the writer has more books that i can rea…Please if anyone can tell me if the writer has more books and how I can find them I would greatly appreciate it .

I don't understand why Lucas took all the insults thrown to him by his mother in law. why can't he just show her who she is? the story is dragging . how is wish he can be like Mo Ting from the Trial marriage... who stood by his wife from the very start.

The writer of this book did a very good job , everything is almost perfect , from the story line to the flow of words and high command of English . the only downside is the inability to get a hard copy of this book . Due to the nature of my job , I Have a limited amount of time that I spend online each week , However , I Am allowed to Read as much as I could as long as it is off line. I Am Willing to pay any amount to have a copy of this book which I am sure that the publishing is complete . is there anything you can do to help ?. like I said before, due to the nature of my job , there are lots of Retrictions to What I could do online, a hard Copy will help me enjoy this great book. a positive reply will be appreciated as it is the Only way that I Can appreciate and support Your work ,

Overall it is a good novel, only downside is paying for privileged chapters that is sometimes not published on time and no make up chapters are provided

Found this novel on FB and I just couldn’t put it down. The story is very intriguing and the story flows nicely. I like how the ML is always there for the FL when she’s in distress or in difficult situations. I hope this story has a happy ending for the both of them anfthey stay together.

This is a good book . The chapters need to be longer . Went through several chapters that could have been one chapter . The chapters I'm talking about are the ones at the Hales , they were drawn out into 19 chapters and could have 2-3 chapters . This is ridiculous after I use my coins that I just purchased I'm deleting this app it's not worth the time or money . In the past week I've read 5 on my 6th physical book . I think I'm going to stick with them .

Honestly plot is boring but if we look at this properly i can only feel bad for mc. proly some netorare shit going on, its like a military officer who left home for war for 4 years only to comeback with month old baby. lmao

It’s a good read but i wish the chapters were longer.... instead of breaking Scenes down as chapters they should have made real chapters. I also would have better approcoated it if it didnt take foRever to unlock chapters!

Somewhat repetetive in storyline, slow on chapter release. All in all a good time burning read

The MC has the ability to prevents his wife from being bullied. He went to the military to have the background to be in the same standing as his wife. Now that he has surpassed that, he returns and acts mysterious and keeps his identity a secret which does not make a sense. Whats the point of building connections when you dont freaking use them to prevent your wife from being bullied.
