14 Chapter 12

Nakasimangot namang lumabas si Alfonso at sinamaan ng tingin ang dalawa.

"Ano bang pinaggagawa ninyo't 'di ni'yo ako pinalabas ha?" pagmamaktol nito na ikinaiwas ng tingin ni Kitkat.

"It's dangerous for you to go out. It might kill you," simpleng sabi ni Jax tsaka tumalikod sa kanila at naunang maglakad.

"Anong dangerous? Pinalabas mo sana ako para makatulong ako! Nasa'n na 'yong kalaban?" habol nito kay Jax.

Inilapit naman ni Jax ang bibig niya sa tenga ni Alfonso tsaka bumulong, "It's me! I might kill you if you insisted to get out. Thanks to me it didn't happen."

Nauna naman siyang naglakad habang nakangisi at agad namang sumunod si Kitkat sa kanya para humawak sa kamay nito.

Naiwan namang nakatulala si Alfonso na parang ang hirap i-process sa utak niya ang sinabi nito.

"Ano?"

Jax Blaine's POV

"T-teka lang? Hindi ka talaga sasama sa 'min?"

"Told you many times, no! Don't be hard-headed and just stick to him!" I instructed her as I close the taxi's door and walk to where I park my motor.

I sighed as I watched them disappear in front of me. I was about to wear my helmet but I was suddenly reminded by what she said earlier.

"Jax! Pa'no na ako makakaakyat nito kung tuluyan na akong nahulog sa 'yo?"

"Tsk! Too cringe!"

I get the paper clip from my pocket and hang it to my necklace. It's not that I cherish this stupid little thing or give any meaning to this but I needed to give it back to her as what I promised. Knowing her, she will be making a big deal about it if I lost this thing.

That would be too annoying!

I also told Alfonso to just come up an alibi why she needed to stay with him. Anything will do 'cause she's an idiot and will easily believe to anything.

Exseven was right. We will be traced by his damn enemies because he contacted us even knowing that call was bugged! Bastard!

As what Kernel told me, Veign and Clent already captured two of them but the assholes won't open their mouths about their details. Even they already tortured them, they're willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of their identities. So in the end, they killed the two.

He also informed me that both of the enemies they captured have a strange eye tattoo on their chest.

They still don't have a clue about Exseven's whereabouts. People of Dakumasuta lost track on them. They just knew that the enemies' of him isn't just a person, but an organization. An organization that no one knows about. Only Exseven and his father can answer all our questions but they're nowhere to be found.

Of course, Kernel did all of those in secrets so that Lavandeir won't suspect anything. We still don't want her to know that her love of her life is in danger. The heck!

I sighed as I realize something. One thing is for sure, Exseven contacted us not because he asked us about his girlfriend, but because he gave us a warning and to stay alert.

'So that's why his father, the Ace, asked him to go with him for a mission. A very hard mission!'

The court Noreen meant wasn't the court in the campus. It is the public basketball court located in the almost isolated area here in province, miles away from school. No one use it between evening 'till dawn that's why they made it their spot.

As I entered the court, everyone is already here as if they're all waiting for me. I caught all their attentions as I slowly walked towards to where the three gangs are.

I look around and notice that I'm the only one who's attending this recruitment. Mostly, there are four to five people who join this. And there's a lot of bystanders than usual. The court was filled with students who are curious about this game, about me.

"Oh! Akala ko nag-back out ka na?" the bastard ask me the stupid question.

That Lance, he's still acting as if he's stronger than me despite being humiliated in front of everyone.

"So your group still didn't kick you out? Being punched by me twice is already a humiliation to your group. Tsk! You all doesn't have pride. Pft!"

I look at Clark and show my sweetest smirk at all to insult him more. To remind him also that his ex-girlfriend chose me over him.

"Ang sarap batukan ng gagong 'yan!"

"Simulan na natin para makagulpi na ako ng gagong 'yan!"

"Tingnan natin kung makakangisi pa ba 'yan pagkatapos. Baka puro salita lang 'yan!"

"Enough!" Clark silenced his children and they all follow him. Obedient little kids!

The three leaders exchange their looks as it is the cue to start this game.

Their members come forward bringing different kinds of weapons and showed it to me. It is all harmful but there's no gun.

"Before we tell you the rules, you must choose a weapon," Franz said.

This one is really different from what I witnessed last time. Before, it was just a hand to hand combat but now they prepared weapons. I wonder what Alfonso told Franz about me that they're all this prepared.

"I won't choose. I might accidentally kill your members... which I don't want to happen."

"Kahit kailan talaga ang hambog ng p*tang ina! Baka luluhod lang 'yan pagkatapos nito!" That bastard named Fourth commented that made everyone smirk and laugh.

"There's nothing funny about it 'cause I'm not joking..." I mock him. "...and you already experienced it," reminding him about what happened in the cafeteria.

He was about to attack me out of frustration when Clark warned him.

Well at least Clark can really control his members... unlike me before. I don't even really care about my members because I was blinded by my own revenge... and that leads me losing them.

"I know you're just confident not picking a weapon because you're hiding a gun, that only real cowards does," Franz stated and shrugged.

Everyone started expressing their anger and their useless thoughts because of me bringing it.

"Tsk! Damn Alfonso!"

I even told that idiot to get the gun secretly so that no one would find out then he even told his master about it? Bastard! I just brought this in case Exseven's enemies are following me!

"That's not the only thing he told me. If you really think he's following your orders, no it's not! That girl will be in danger..." Franz added.

I sighed.

"I thought he will just only follow orders to those who give him money."

It's fine if he betray me 'cause I can dispose him anytime I want and I already expected him to do it. But I know he's clever enough to decide which of us he will choose.

I also know that nothing will happen to that tiny lady 'cause his loving ex-boyfriend still cares for her. Unless... if they are chase by Exseven's enemy.

"Too bad if that's what you think. No matter what happen, he will come back to me and stay loyal 'cause he owe me his life."

I just stared at him for a second and didn't express any emotion.

I slowly pulled the gun behind me, underneath my jean's hip line and jacket. The moment I did it, they're more alert and just staring at me wondering what will I do next.

For a thrill, I quickly pointed my gun to Clark which made the students shock and made the gangs positioned themselves and are ready to attack me.

"Pft! Hahaha! Chill. I'm just testing it," I told them but they didn't budge. I examine my gun and throw them a glance.

I can read through them that they're just being scared to what will I do. Haha!

"So? Do I need to care if that Kitkat is in danger? Do I? Should I worry?" I stand properly and slowly disassembling the gun in front of them. "Did that idiot minion of yours also tell you that I was just using her to piss him?" I added as I pointed Clark which makes him gritted his teeth.

"Isn't it very common to use your enemy's special someone to get back to them? Right Clark?"

'Bull's eye! Hitting three cheap birds in one stone!'

Franz failed to threaten me using her, Noreen was pissed off knowing her boyfriend is still not getting over with Kitkat, and Clark realizes I'm just playing and using his ex-girlfriend. And knowing that I'm still aware he's still into her.

I smirked. They're now looking at me as if anytime they will kill me.

'If that Alfonso really betrayed me, I can just end him as soon as we meet.'

I threw every parts of my gun away from me for them to know I'm not depending to my gun. I took off my jacket, grip it, and wait for them to make a move.

"You don't have to tell me the rules because I'm not interested in joining any of you! I already witnessed how you did this damn recruitment so I already know your rules! It's not just that, I also know that most of those who challenged you didn't just drop out." I seriously tell them that made the leaders and members shocked.

I know they get what I meant. Most of them were murdered by these gangs.

"And why the hell did you accept our invitation?" Noreen frustratedly ask.

"Because I want you to leave me and to people around me alone!"

'I won't let my guard down and I have to stay more alert! There's a big possiblity that those assholes already traced me. I had my phone with me for them to track it. In that case, I get their attention and so they will leave those two idiots alone.'

They stared at me for seconds and as soon as the leader of The Demon gestured his members to attack, I grip my jacket hard.

'Now entertain me!'
