"Last night there was a murder at room 123 of xi hu apartments, the victims were a family of three at which none were spared, this was discovered by the police after a report from a tenant from the building reported that they heard a scream at 3 am earlier"

Feng ling upon hearing the news unlocked her door and looked at the hallway to find the apartment police taped, police going in and out of the scene while reporters were broadcasting the scene with detail, even the news she was watching was there interviewing the tenant of room 128 just next door to room 127, the building had 10 rooms on each floor starting from 0 to 9.

"Ma'am can you tell us how you discovered the crime scene?" the reporter inquired the tenant.

"Well I was up late and was just gaming in my room since I'm a gaming streamer with a little bit of followers I started at 9 pm and then when it was 3 am I suddenly heard a scream from the family next door, so I knocked multiple times but there was no answer from behind the door so I assumed they were asleep but then I was hit by the smell of rotting meat and copper so I called the cops and that's what we have right now"

Feng entered her room and sat on the couch, there was no expression on her face but one could tell she was mentally exhausted again as she placed her hand on her forehead.

"Haaa how many murderers are hiding at this cheap place? first me and now that family, this place truly is full of surprises"

She leaned back and rested her head, her posture was able to show the pinata still hanging above her and a though crossed her mind "Wait a minute did I leave that hanging all night?"

She stood up and removed the pinata from her ceiling and broke it in the middle revealing the contents, she then saw a well sealed box with talisman locks that had the words "Forgotten Thrills", she opened it up and it revealed a data chip of the game inside for the capsule.

"Sister meng really did get a genuine one huh, I wish I was as rich as her"

Feng placed the chip box with the chip on the table and closed it, she began to unwrap the capsule and saw that the color meng got her was not even a plain color, it was a random pattern of spilled blood on a black capsule that had a pattern and shape that made it look like a coffine.

"Sister meng really has a dark sense of humor"

Feng plugged the capsule and started it up, she then went and allowed the capsule to perform its maintentance as she returned to the table and got the new phone from jia fu out of the box.

She started the phone up and found that it already was subscribed to her network with a new number, she saw many notifications on wechat from fu meng and jia fu, it seems jia fu also logged her in.

Feng tapped the messages from jia fu first and saw he was just sending her memes and horror movie recommendations along with some pictures of bulky men while he ranted how hot they were.

Feng went to fu mengs messages after a bit and read up a bit but then fu meng called her, she answered and the jolly dark humored friend she had, popped up on the screen as a 3d projection.

"Hey feng feng feeling better? and ooh I see you found out what's inside the pinata and plugged the capsule hehe, I have another surprise"

"Hello sister meng, I'm feeling great and yeah I left it to perform some maintenance and diagnostics, there's another surprise?"

"I knew I'd get you interested, well badududum I got us into the closed beta testing of the game! closed beta begins at November 20 so you better be prepared to meet me and jia fu in-game 3 days from now, SET UP YOUR CHARACTER!!~ also its been announced that the game will open to the public for open beta at December 5 and then it will enter official release at December 13"

"Okay sister I promise I'll make a character immediately"

"Good and I will see you again 3 days later, love you Feng feng!"

The call ended and so did the capsules maintenance, she went and plugged the data chip on one of the chip slots inside the capsule and then sat inside it waiting for the game to finish downloading which ended fast, she then closed the capsule and opened the game.

A feminine robotic voice began to sound inside the capsule.

"System: Connecting to hosts neuro links... "

"System: Connection successful... "

"System: Connecting to occular and sensory nerves system... "

"System: Connections successful... "

"System: Connecting to neuro muscular system... "

"Systems: Connection successful... "

Feng closed her eyes and then was questioned if she wanted long resting mode or short resting mode, the difference was, the time in short resting mode was that 3 hours ingame is equivalent to an hour outside while long resting was 6 hours per real hour, short resting didn't take much mental power so one would feel rested after, but long resting would show clear mental fatigue after usage.
