chapter 1

"Wait, you can't run away, do you understand? We need to go back!" A woman's voice said echoing in the forest.

"Hurry up, Nina! We don't have much time!" The young lady grabbed Nina's hand, running deeper into the forest.

The sun was setting and it became darker and darker each passing second. The two women were wearing men's clothing, which was quickly becoming dirtied with falling leaves and sweat.

"No! Stop it, Lillian! You don't get it! Your husband...he's a yandere..." Nina was able to break their sprint, her breath shaky with exhaustion.

"Sorry, what did you say?" Lillian, tired, asked back.

"Goddamit! Reuben's a YANDE-"

Before Nina could finish her exasperated yelling, the two young women were surrounded by a circle of knights. The emblem of a black raven adorned their armour, shining in the moonlight. In the centre stood a tall, pale man with silver hair and piercing red eyes. His face although calm, carried an aura of displeasure. Next to him were a set of tanned blond twins, one with a small grin, the other with a wide smile. Despite the happiness on their faces, the atmosphere was as if a mother had caught their child in their trap. And Nina and Lillian fell right in.

"Yandere," Nina shakily whispered out to Lillian, before gulping.

The two women looked at each other with only one thought.

"Oh shit".

The start of my second novel!
