Self-defence is a huge no-no!

Tori. 

"WHY?! WHY?!" I yelled in a shaky voice. "WHY DIDN'T YOU LOCK THE DOOR!"

Sounds convincing enough. 

I need to stall time.

Just until Tori arrives.

"Why did you come when I called Tori?" He lowered his gun, but not his grip.

"The maid and butler told me that you wanted to see me!"

"Because he's the new shit, he doesn't know Tori." He said, pacing slow, dangerous steps towards me. I backed away slowly at the same pace.

"The bullet will reach even if you back away."

"You want to sh-shoot?"

"Then what else should I do? Keep you alive?"

... 

... yes?

It hurt me a bit since I had cared for him genuinely.

"Wouldn't I be a waste of talent?"

"All the talented ones are dead." He smirked as he stepped even closer. I couldn't back away anymore. 

"I'm going to ask you," He said, moving even closer. "Did you know I was a man?"

"...what?"

"Did you know I was a man?"

I gave a small nod looking away.

"How?" He bent down on one knee towards my level.

I was forced to look at him now.

"Y-y-your neck... It shows your voice box. It became more visible after a few months." 

I attempted to back away a bit more.

Within a second, his hand was at the back of my head. He pulled it closer.

Our faces were just inches away.

"You may be useful." He said as he got up and gripped his gun. "But I won't believe it."

I gave up.

"I think it would be simpler to kill."

I looked away.

I stopped even trying to back away. 

Time looked dead for a moment.

In a single second, the door banged open.

And a small figure with pale, blonde hair with olive eyes hugged me.

"NO!"

Tori.
