Chapter 6 - Ending the demon in one move

The demon lunged itself at Raphael and he was ready to take it on as he has charged up a skill.

'Phantom movement'

The demon's claws passed through him and it looked like as if he warped a little.

"What?"

The demon was sure that he surely struck Trevor with a lethal blow.

Actually the attack didn't pass through Trevor. He just increased his speed and dodged the attack at an invisible speed.

This was no easy feat as no ordinary hunter can perform such Godly feats. But Trevor was no ordinary hunter.

The demon lunged at him again, this time with his hand forward as he intends to pierce through Trevor.

"You still don't get it do you"

Trevor's voice echoed in the demon's head as it felt danger.

As it's claws reached Trevor he swiftly turned and used his knee to block himself and also knock the demon, stopping it's motion.

He flipped in the air and kicked the demon back to the ground in a rotating motion.

"HOW DARE YOU?!!!!"

The demon raged and attacked Trevor fiercely.

"Let's end this shall we!"

The demon's eyes shown as both of it's arms were cut off in one move. He only saw a flash of light and his limbs were severed. Just how powerful was this human?.

The demon regretted underestimating the human and close it's eyes.

Trevor looked at the demon with disdain and contempt. He didn't even want to looks at the demon's repentant face as the sword in his hand glowed brightly as he raised it up.

'Eraser'

He swung the sword downwards and a bright arc of light consumed and erased the demon completely from existence.

*Boom*

The side of the building exploded and there was a long deep sword mark in the floor, leading to the open place that the arc hit.

*Ding...Ding...Ding*

"Sigh...looks like I got a big loot today. And I got some skills and items also" he stared at the screen that was still loading.

-Consumes 400 points of mana

Eraser - Release massive blade Mana and erase something from existence. Can shred the target to tiny pieces.

-Consumes 670 points of Mana.

Blood sacrifice - Use the blood of a creature to boost your physical attributes by 100%. Lose senses for 1 minute after activation.

-Consumes no Mana points.

Arc spinner blade - Materialise a ring blade made out of light and mana. Spin blade rapidly with thoughts to increase the power of the attack.

-Consumes 1000 Mana points. ]

He surveyed the screen and finally closed it.

He sat on the floor of that place and opened his watch which looked like a phone now.

"I need immediate ambulance, two unconscious and badly injured citizens"

He made a call to the association about the situation that unfolded. He was told not to leave until they arrived.

Some time later he started hearing sirens sounds coming from outside the store.

He rushed outside to see some people pulling a flat bed for patients.

Trevor lead them inside to where the alive citizens were.

The hospital personnels were all frightened by the sight of the blood and gore and some vomited on the way.

They finally took Raphael and Martha away and put them in an ambulance.

A man wearing a black suit and black glasses was watching the scene.

Trevor seems to notice this man and went to him while making sure his mask was on.

"Any ideas why they chose now?" Trevor asked as he did not know why a demon would suddenly pop out of the blue and suddenly start killing people.

"I'm not sure...this demon might be a rogue."

The man said as he pulled out some files.

"If my hunch is correct...then the demons only attack at night and they attack the places that have most people" the man in Black explained.

"What about the victims?" Trevor asked as he was quite worried about Raphael and Martha.

"We'll take care of their medical bills and give them some money for their rest time expenses" the man said casually as if it was normal that two people almost died and 24 died.

Trevor just hope that they would be able to live a normal life after this and forget about the incidence.
