How To Capture A Heart

As they all sat there in the awkward bedchambers all Erick could think of was Lily. The thought of the prince embracing her as she slept infuriated him. He desperately wanted to talk to Lily but the moment seemed wrong. However he didn't want to lose his chance and have more regrets.

"Lily can I speak to you for a moment?" Erick asked softly.

Lily nodded "yes of course." she responded guessing it was about the prince.

They walked out the room into the hallway. Erick stood against the wall leaning on it his hair flowed down looking like black waves against his soft light skin. Lily stood in front of him waiting for him to speak. She had wondered if he was concerned about the prince, she didn't know he had walked in on them sleeping.

"Lily have you thought about what I said?" Erick asked getting straight to the point reaching for her hand.

Her mind rushed to the flashbacks of him confessing "yes a bit, but I dont know if I can answer you yet. I've never thought of having multiple partners and honestly getting over the last one I was with for the past few years." she answered looking down at the floor holding back the tears from the memory of Jonathon and that woman.

"I understand....But please believe me when I say I'm serious about you. I don't want to regret not proving to you that I can be the mate you need." he said in her ear.

Lily blushed from Erick's soft breath on her ear. He always had a cold expression and his demeanor was completely different from the day she had arrived to this new world. She could tell by looking at his eyes that he wanted her. Erick's forest green eyes spoke to her like whispers from the wind telling you to follow. But it didn't feel right when the prince was the one originally to show her such compassion and understanding her unusual predicament. Luka and his teasing flirtatious ways with his sweet and kind acts to her made her have butterflies. Erick had grown important to her but almost losing Luka made her realize she liked him and if they were in her world she would have tried dating him.

This new remarkably different world was something she was trying to grow accustomed to. She knew from the books that other beastmen had multiple mates since there were some kingdoms with less women and less citizens. But wolves mate with one for life. How would it affect the two men she has grown to care for she wondered. Wouldn't it hurt them deeply and wouldn't it put them in a bad place, especially a soon to be king. Erick looked at her puzzled face and could tell that she was thinking hard. But his heart started beating hard he was became nervous that she might reject him. He grabbed her had and swiftly pulled her into his arms where he held her for a moment. He used his left hand to cup her chin and gently pull her face to his. He stared at her sweet honey colored eyes. Without hesitation he kissed her deeply, Lily tried to pull away but the kisses pulled her in. She couldn't get away at all. His soft lips on her tender lips they wouldn't stop he grabbed her waist making it impossible for her to go anywhere.

The kisses were burning hot all she could think of was his touch. Erick licked her lips in a seductive way and grinned at the sight of Lily's shallow yet heavy breathing. His tail swayed elegantly showing his real feelings. He was happy, he had never wanted a woman so bad. He wanted to ravish her and take her right in that hallway. Lily smacked his arm glaring at him to the point invisible needles were stinging him in the chest. He had done the exact same thing Luka did and he remembered how upset she was with him.

"I apologize deeply Lily I only wanted to prove how serious I was." he said with his head low.

"Don't do it again without my consent!" she yelled at him.

"So if ask then I can do it again?" he asked tilting his head.

She grew furious with his selfish desires "no I haven't decided and until I do you can't do that again." she responded.

"Well then promise me you won't Luka do it either until you decide." he said with a cold expression.

Lily blushed "fine!" she retorted back to him.

She ignored him completely not wanting to continue and went back into the room and sat with the prince. She didn't want to deal with it for the rest of the day. She hadn't been able to catch a break since she was transported here. What was with the men around her lately. She felt so confused the man she loved for so many years threw her to the side without hesitation and then the men she has met so far continously try to win her over.

"Lily would you take a stroll with me into the garden please?" Luka requested with puppy eyes and a small dazzling smile.

He knew his charming antics would work on Lily because he always got his way. She was already annoyed and just wanted to take a rest in her room but she nodded. Without hesitation he took her by the waist and headed out of Erick's room without saying goodbye to either of the two gentlemen that were just there. He didn't care at all he could smell Erick's scent on Lily and just wanted to get rid of it. He was extremely jealous which was probably the only thing him and cold Erick had in common due to their attraction to Lily.

They walked through the stained glass doors and the sunset glistened Lily's hair making it almost glow. Luka was completely infatuated with her, she was the only thing occupying his mind lately. Luka held her hand and walked her through the rose maze where he found a gorgeous blue blossoming rose. He picked using his sharp nails and placed it into Lily's hair pushing back strands of her hair.

Lily blushed staring at the handsome muscular man with pure white hair that shined like a full moon and eyes that sparkled in the ocean like glaciers. But her heart was torn would it be simpler to have more than one mate since most did in this world or who would she have to choose and which heart would break. She was distraughted over hurting the very few people that had treated her like she was more than a puppet or loser. She knew she had to talk to Luka but how was the big question.

"There's something bothering you isn't there?" Luka asked tilting his head close to her face.

"Y-yes and don't know what to do." Lily stuttered out blushing.
