Prince Shen, also the general of the country is a very powerful man. He is known to be the best warrior in the country. He is also the dream of every lady as he was extremely handsome. People worshiped him as their kind and the righteous prince who protected them and will be their king in near future.

Violet mansion was the largest mansion and only next to the royal palace. It was also known for its beautiful view and the Queen Mother's palace within it.

Prince Shen has turned 25 this year and hasn't got married yet. He leads all the war beside his father, "King Shen Shi Kang".

Today is a bright sunny day of April, the prince has returned home from the war near the border, victoriously. He was getting ready to attend an official meal to meet and greet with all his family, fellows, and everyone in his mansion.

The cherry blossom tree beside the prince's chamber is in full bloom, petals are falling like drizzling rain, slowly, drifting in the wind. Music can be heard in the air, it is being played for the prince's return.

The prince's assistant or his right hand, the most trustworthy to the prince is 'Kang Ji Han'. Everyone calls him Master Kang and the prince calls him Han. He is an excellent warrior too and fights beside the prince. He does anything and everything for the prince.

The Prince asked a little impatiently to Han, "Isn't it getting late, Han?"

Han replied politely, "No, your majesty. Everyone will wait for your arrival to start the meal."

Prince said, "Yeah, I know. But I would like to be on time. You know me, how I hate to be late."

Han said with a hint of a smile, "Yes, my lord. You are ready just on time."

Prince said, "Now, let's go."

Everyone was sitting in the great hall, talking to each other. There was the queen and the princess present.

When the prince entered the hall, followed by Han and his personal guards, everyone stood up, bowed, and said their greetings with due respect.

The prince said, "Please sit down. Thank you all for coming here today and working hard on your duties. Let's have a toast for it"

Then everyone toasted with him. Then he talked to his family. The meal ended formally. The queen brought up the topic of the prince's marriage when they were alone with only the princess and Kang Ji Han.

Prince said, "Thank you for your concern dear mother but I need time and I'm not ready for marriage yet. When it's time, I'll tell you, mother."

The Queen tried to persuade him further but it was futile to the stubborn prince.

After their meeting, the prince went back to his chamber followed by Han.

Han said after they were in the prince's study, "My lord, you cannot always escape this, you know."

Prince replied tiredly, "Yeah, but I'll marry someone when I fall in love. Until then I have to keep the mother away from this topic."

Han smiled and said, "Yes, my lord, I hope your love comes to you soon."

The Prince smiled too.

Kang Ji Han is the prince's best friend. He knew the prince very well. They grew up together, protecting each other. And this kind of situation Han manages best for the prince.

Han made an arrangement to invite the relatives of the queen that will keep her highness for a while and she will forget to pressure the prince about marriage for the time being.

Another POV (Another perspective of view):

I'm Su Mo Mo, a lady of 22 years from a prestigious family. My birth parents died when I was a child. After that my present parents adopted me. So, now I live in comfort and elegance, learning etiquette as my age is now for marriage.

I have another secret identity, a fake one. I work as a spy and I disguise myself as a guy when I do it. I can take many disguises. I spy on someone at the request of my client in exchange for money. I'm one of the best spies in the country.

I work these things at night when everyone at my mansion falls asleep. From my position this job is unimaginable so, it's a plus for me.No one can suspect me…

Today I remembered my parents' tragic death again...

My father used to work for the king as a royal spy. The king's enemies tried to take him on their side but my father was loyal to the king and refused to betray him(the king) so, he was killed by those enemies. I and my mother were captured by them too. My mother was a beauty. The leader of the enemies wanted to marry her but she refused obviously. Then he started to threaten her using me. She was very brave. She took a dagger and cut her own throat in front of him before he could do anything. I was present too. It was a horrible experience for me. But my mother made me strong and hard by this. Seeing my own mother suicide bravely in front of me, made me fear no blood, death, or anything.

I escaped from there. One night after injuring that bastard with all my might. I gorged out both of his eyes when he was sleeping and when he tried to catch me, injured him as much as I could and ran.

So, now I can fear nothing. But as I'm grateful to my adopted parents for raising me, treating me so well, I can't reveal to them what I do. They won't be able to accept it.

Though I disguise myself as a guy when I do spy business, I never show my face to my clients. I have a secret office where I meet with the clients. I stand behind a curtain in a dimly lit room and cover my face with a cloth while talking to the clients. I also change my voice. I have a principle in my job, I never accept a job which involves killing, no matter how much they offer.

Oh, I do know a lot about poisons. It seemed interesting to me, so I studied a lot about it.
