Chapter 8
The speed force.
"Uhm..."
Nathaniel opened his eyes to the ceiling of the living room of his house. A look of relief appeared on his face as the memories of him being struck by lightning again because he thought he will die again.
"Thank God I didn't die. Wait! Something is not right."
Nathaniel got up from the couch he was lying on and expressed his relief but then he noticed that something was not right about the house because it was too silent.
"Nathaniel Henry Allen."
A female voice spoke out Nathaniel's name from behind him when was about to leave the house and Nathaniel became shocked upon hearing the voice because he recognised the owner of the voice immediately.
"Mom?!!!"
Nathaniel slowly turned around until was face the person and couldn't help but ask in confusion because the person standing in front of Nathaniel is his mother, Nora Allen.
"Then who are you?"
Although he was furious for someone to impersonate as his dead mother, Nathaniel knew that the person in front of him is not someone he can offend so he asked who she was instead.
Nora(The speed force) nodded to Nathaniel's question. She walked towards one of the couches in the room and took a seat then she gestured for Nathaniel to sit beside her which he did.
"When the first subatomic particle sprang forth from the Big Bang to form reality as you know it, we were there. When the last proton decays, stops vibrating and plunges the universe into heat death, we'll be there too... We are the speed force."
"The speed force?!"
"You, Nathaniel Henry Allen have been chosen as the host of the speed force. You have been chosen as our avatar."
"Chosen? Chosen for what?!"
After Nathaniel sat down, Nora told him who or what she is and Nathaniel had his eyebrows raised in confusion and asked multiple questions, Nora brought a hand closer to Nathaniel's shoulder and covered it with different colours of lightning.
"You will understand when you wake up, Nathaniel."
SHZZZZ!!
Nora placed her lightning-covered hand on Nathaniel's and electrocuted the shit out of himself until he lost consciousness and disappeared from the room.

It has been three months since the explosion of the particle accelerator and also since the Allen twins fell into a coma.
At Central City hospital.
At first, both of the Allens were brought here after they were found unconscious but a few days after they were brought here Barry started going through abnormal cardiac arrests so he was transferred to S.T.A.R. Labs while Nathaniel remains in the hospital and today he awakens from his three-month long slumber.
In Nathaniel's room.
Nathaniel's body which was peacefully lying on the bed a second ago was now suddenly covered in multiple colours of electricity and among the lightning white was the most prominent.
SHAKING!!
Nathaniel's body started trembling vigorously after a few seconds of being covered in lightning and then his eyes snapped open to reveal them glowing white with lightning.
GASP!
Nathaniel gasped right after he opened his eyes and the lightning show around his body disappeared out of existence waiting for him to call upon them again.
"Where am I?"
Nathaniel started looking around the room and relaxed a second later when he realized that he was in the hospital.
Meanwhile, when Nathaniel's body was releasing the speed force lightning the hospital was put into chaos as the power of the hospital was going off and on which was putting lots of patients in danger but luckily it only happened for a few seconds and everything went back to normal.
Alex who went out to get something to eat came back to the hospital and headed for Nathaniel's room and on her way there she saw a familiar person so she called out to her.
"Hey, Felicity."
"Hmm! Oh, Alex."
Felicity became happy when she saw that the person who called her was Alex so she slowed down her pace and wait for Alex to get to her and they walked to gather while some girls talk along the way. They both treated each other like sisters because of their relationship with Nathaniel and they were happy about it.
These two girls have been the ones who stayed by Nathaniel's side while he was in a coma and although they would sometimes get visits from Iris and Joe it wasn't as frequent as how they visited Barry at S.T.A.R. Labs and it's understandable since Nathaniel didn't stay with them as Barry did.
Anyways, the girls reached Nathaniel's room door and Alex opened the door only for them to be surprised and also full of happiness as they saw Nathaniel sitting on the bed and there was a doctor beside him.
"Nathaniel!!"
They both screamed out his name and took him in a nice and warm hug and buried his head into their nice and soft breast. Nathaniel responded to their hug and wrapped his arms around their waist with a soft smile on his face as his head rested in between their chest.
"I'm so happy you awake."

Felicity gave him a deep and passionate right after she separated from the hug and Alex not being the one to lose also took his lips right after Felicity was done.
"Mr Allen, you seem to be in perfect condition but I suggest we do some tests to make sure there are no hidden dangers before you leave. I will be in my office."
The doctor excused himself from the room when he saw the steamy exchanges between the couples, he even had an envious look on his face because was living the dream of every man.
"I think it--."
""Okay, doctor.""
Nathaniel wanted to decline the doctor's suggestion but he was stopped midway through his sentence as both Felicity and Alex answered for him and the doctor left.
"Do you know how worried I was when I heard you were struck by lightning."
Felicity almost had tears in her eyes as she stares at him with relief written all over her pretty face. She wasn't the only one as Alex also had a relieved expression on her face as she stares at her boyfriend.
"I know I made both of you very worried and I'm very sorry about it. It will never happen again, I promise."
GROWL!
Nathaniel comforted the two of them but then his stomach suddenly roared which brought a smile to their faces.
"Did any of you bring something for me to eat, I'm starving."
"Lucky for you I did."
"I will go get some water for you."
Alex brought out the bag she was holding and took out the food she had and Felicity went out to get water for him.

Currently, Nathaniel is alone in his room as Felicity and Alex went out to talk with the doctor about him.
VIBRATING!!
Nathaniel brought his hands closer to his face and they started vibrating at super speed with white lightning crackling around them also in front of him a holographic interface that only he can see appeared to display his status.
