Chapter 3 - Presh Center

LEE'S RESIDENT

Neema walked out of the house and sees Rhema sitting on her scooter.

"Don't tell me you're taking me to Presh Center with that?" Neema said disdainfully.

"Excuses me? Haven't I been taking to with it?" Rhema asked.

"I am not going to school but to Presh Center."

"What's the difference? Presh Center is also a school."

"Presh Center or Presh High School is a prestigious school and you don't expect me to go there with that. I don't wanna be a laughing stock. So I'm calling the cap."

"Fine. If you insist and I hope that money is yours."

"Humphed!" She sneered and left the building.

Rhema sighed. She looked at the time. "It's still early." She started the scooter and drove off.

YARNIT FOREST

Rhema stopped and parked the scooter. "I hope this works." She gave a heavy breathe.

She carefully looked around before entering the forest.

After 30 minute of exploring the forest, she found nothing.

"She's got to be kidding me! What the heck? There's nothing special here? Not even the so-called friend I'll meet? Why did I even believe what she said?"

As she was still muttering to herself, she heard a whim.

"Who is there?" she shouted.

No one answered but she heard the whim again. She followed the sound and found a cat.

"Oh my gosh! it's a kitten." she picked up the cat and ruffles the pur.

"Little Kitty, what happened to you? Why are you hurt?" She carried it and continued her journey. Her cellphone rings.

"Hello? Ivy?"

"Where have you been? You're two hours late." A sharp panicking voice rang out.

Rhema's face stiffened as she checked the time. Her eyes were opened wide. It was only then that she came back to her senses. She hang up immediately and left the forest.

Two ladies wearing a black cloak walked out. "What do we do?"

"Nothing. Let's go back."

"What about His Highness?"

"Everything that has happened is destined to."

SYARR RESTAURANT

Rhema packed her scooter besides the building.

She walked in and sees Ivy who was anxiously waiting for her.

"Is Mrs. Reeves here?" She asked as she walked to the kitchen.

"No she's not." Ivy replied as Rhema breathe a sign of relief.

"What about the others?"

"Don't worry about them. I told them you want to the market to get something. And luckily, you bought 'something'." Ivy said as she glanced at the bag. "What's that?"

"Oh..this?" She raised the bag up. "Cat food."
